V For __________ (Fill In The Blank)

So ... it appears that Kevin Federline isn't the only one showing off a new hairdo -- Britney Spears is rockin' a new look ... and, I actually can't believe I'm about to write this, IMHO K-Fed is the one who looks better betwixt the 2:

Can you actually believe it ...? The Federline gets a haircut and improves his looks by 1,000%, Britney takes out her extensions, perms what's left of her hair and looks absolutely terrible. It's all so sad ... as usual ... but in any regard, Britney is back in the studio working on her next album. I really hope she is in there working miracles ... cuz it's gonna take a few miracles to save her sinking ship. [Source, Source]

Ray Romano and John Leguizamo were on hand last night for the Hollywood premiere of Ice Age 2: The Meltdown:

Queen Latifah (who also provides a voice in the film) and Dominic Purcell (from Prison Break) also made appearances at the premiere. I have to admit, I tried to dislike the first Ice Age movie and did my best to avoid it but I managed to catch it on TV and thought it was really cute. I don't think that I'm gonna make my way out to see the sequel but I know there are a lot of fans out there who will. [Source]

Lindsay Lohan was spotted wearing this lovely little outfit while out in NYC over the weekend:

So okay ... if she is trying her best to hide a new incontinence problem then she is doing a horrible job. I don't get this ... dress? skirt? whatever it is. I would think that a fashionable chick like L. Lo would want to stay away from articles of clothing that inflate with every passing breeze. [Source]

Paris Hilton played hostess at an LA Fashion Week afterparty for designer Louis Verdad over the weekend and it looks like she made herself a new friend:

Hmmm ... could it be that Michelle Trachtenberg and Paris Hilton are the new "It" girl couple? Say it ain't so, Michelle! [Source]

Tori Spelling and her fiancé Dean McDermott want the world to know how much they love one another ... here are a couple pictures of the pair in full on PDA mode while shopping at Ted Baker in LA:

And, because one can never get enough of some people's stupidity, how about another look at the lovely new tattoo that Dean proudly showed off last week. You just know that these 2 are gonna make it ... a tattoo is forever, they just have to make it work. [Source, Source]

Stephen Gately, who was in the boy band Boyzone, got himself hitched over the weekend in London. Here are some cute pictures of Stephen and his partner Andy Cowles (along with their mothers) at their civil partnership ceremony:

The ceremony, at the Goring Hotel, was attended by fellow Boyzone stars Keith Duffy and Shane Lynch, but the band's ex-manager Louis Walsh was unable to join the celebrations because of illness ... Gately, 30, made an official commitment to Mr Cowles, an internet entrepreneur, in Las Vegas three years ago. I love it! First of all, it is amazing that this sort of civil ceremony can take place in the UK. Secondly, I love that these 2 have been together for so long. I wish them all the best for a long and happy life together! [Source]

Speaking of new couples, it looks like Kenny Chesney has already long-forgotten his ex-wife Reneé Zellweger:

Kenny and country singer Dierks Bentley are hitting the road together. They make a cute couple, don't you think? [Source]

Jay-Z and Beyoncé have been spending quite a lot of time hanging out at basketball games lately ... here's a picture of the pair at the New Jersey Nets game yesterday:

Yeah, forget about Jay and B, I'm all about that hot guy right behind them. Oooh yeah, break me off a piece of that! [Source]

Ever wonder what happened to David Schwimmer after the series finale of Friends? Well, in addition to providing a voice for last year's animated movie Madagascar he has, apparently, he's gotten himself a haircut:

Um, I guess that's all he's been up to. Seriously, with all that Friends money he and his co-stars made over the years I don't think he really needs to do anything else for the rest of his life. He's lookin' pretty good too! [Source]

Pink reader Mary sends in these interesting and intimate pictures of Ryan Cabrera and his new love Lisa Origliasso (1/2 of the group The Veronicas) as they vacation at Disneyland, in Mexicao and around LA:

Awww don't they look so in love? It looks like Ryan is so over Ashlee ... now all he has to do is get himself a K-Fed haircut and I think he'll be all set. [thanks Mary]

Check out this L'Oreal cosmetics ad featuring Scarlett Johansson ... I think it's just me, but isn't it a bit understated?

LOL doesn't even really convey my sentiments. What Bozo talked her into looking like this??? [Source]

Here are a few outtakes from Mariah Carey's recent photospread for Esquire magazine:

She is so damn busty ... I'm always amazed that those things actually stay inside her skimpy clothing. She looks great tho, I <3 Mimi. [Source]

And finally, don't forget that Prison Break returns with new episodes starting tonight on Fox:

Hasn't it been about 18 months since the last new episode? It's about time we got some new eps. I really hope the show stays interesting ... it's been so long since I've actually cared about the show. We'll see if their extended hiatus wasn't a terrible mistake. An all-new episode of 24 follows the return of Prison Break ... and you know I ain't gonna miss that. [Source]

Les News:
I spent most of yesterday afternoon taking care of stuff around the house. I'm still in the process of packing up some stuff and, let me tell you, it is not fun. Last night I caught an early evening showing of V For Vendetta:

I tried to stay away from reading anything about the movie before seeing it. I had a vague idea of what the story would be like and I knew it was based on a graphic novel so I wanted to see it cold. Generally I liked the film but there were a few things that I wasn't too keen on. I think it took way too long for the meat of the story to take hold. I liked the themes of the movie but oftentimes they were too heavy-handed ... you keep getting smacked on the head with the overbearing theme of the film. That said, I really responded how some issues were handled -- especially the homosexual apsects. I didn't think I was going to like the main masked dude called V (played by Hugo Weaving) but in the end I think I came to understand what made him tick. He is definitely a flawed hero which I think makes him more believable. Natalie Portman did an OK job as Evey but it wasn't anything stunning. Her accent kept reminding me of her portrayal of Queen Amidala in the Star Wars movies. The movie is way predictable and wraps itself up nicely ... I suppose that will make a certain portion of the audience happy. Overall, it's a pretty good film but not the end all be all that some are making it out to be.

That is all ... I am out.
