Break Dance

Hmmm ... it appears that Britney Spears is capable of making a sound decision every once-in-a-while ... well, not when it comes to driving safety but that's a whole other story ... Miss Spears, who recently fired her previous nanny because Sean Preston fell out of his high chair, hired a new nanny -- a male nanny -- a manny:

These pictures of her new manny are from Mother's Day Sunday. Not only is this new guy in charge of taking care of Sean P. (who, incidentally, looks A LOT like him) but it appears that he is also in charge of heeding Britney's every beck and call. Dude ... he is way hotter than K-Fed ... I wonder if something will come of Britney's new working relationship with this new dude. [Source]

ATTENTION: PRISON BREAK SPOILER ALERT WARNING

In my travels to and fro recently I have been unable to keep up with Prison Break in a timely manner. Once I got home I managed to catch up in time for last night's season finale. I knew that Dr. Sara would come thru for Michael, I was happy to see the VP get mired in her own evil plan and I was happy that Nick redeemed himself before he was killed. The last two eps before last night's ep were both very nail-biting ... they got me really excited for the season finale:

It's safe to say that Prison Break is one of the more successful break-out shows of this season, even despite the stupid hiatus imposed by FOX. For the most part the show has been really fun to watch and I would consider myself a fan. That said, I have to admit that last night's ep wasn't nearly as exciting as I hoped it would be.

As soon as T-bag put those handcuffs on Michael's wrist I immediately thought that they should've shot off his hand ... chopping it off with the ax was even better. I can't think of a nicer way to pay back that sicko for all the crap he put the other guys thru. I think it is genius that the VP drank the poisoned water 2 seconds before she got the news that the President died of a heart attack OR DID SHE? It occurred to me that the President might've gotten poisoned with the deadly water in order to elevate the VP to the presidency. We only know that the poison causes a massive heart attack that makes the death look natural ... we don't really know who it was meant for. All we see is the President die of a heart attack and the VP drink some water. HMMMMMMMM! I can't believe that Dr. Sara ODed ... I'm not sure if she meant to kill herself (because she knew she'd get implicated in the prison break) or if she just wanted to numb herself and injected too much junk into her veins. I really hope she doesn't die ... there has to be a future for her with Michael, right?

I was a bit let down by how the whole thing ended ... you mean to tell me that with all those cops all over the place that the escapees are going to just run away into the night? C'mon ... in the real world they would have been apprehended before they left the runway. I was a bit bored at this point ... even the moment when Veronica finds Terrance Steadman was a yawn. I liked this show ... I'll prolly watch next season ... that is if I can stay awake to see what happens. [Source, Source]

ATTENTION: 24 SPOILER ALERT WARNING

The promos for last night's episode of 24 promised "the biggest surprise of the season" so I was really amped to see what shocking thing would happen in order to set up the finale next week. I am sad to report that no such shocking thing happened ... there was some cool stuff but not nearly as juicy as I had hoped:

So basically the shizz is hitting the fan all over the place ... the tape recording that implicates the President in the day's events has been erased which leaves Jack and CTU at, what seems to be, a dead end. I loved seeing Karen Hayes slap the shizz out of Miles for his betrayal ... the only thing that would have been cooler would have been if she had spit in his face -- and then kneed him in the nuts. That would've ruled. You don't even want to know how disappointed I was to learn that one last canister of SYNTOX gas survived ... lame lame lame. I was very pleased to learn that Secret Serviceman Aaron Pierce wasn't dead -- watching him tell the Prez off to his face was so awesome. Idiot Logan isn't fit to wipe Aaron's ass and he knows it. Can I just tell you how cool it was to watch Martha Logan save Aaron's life ... it was so sweet ... I just wish they would've kissed or something.

SOOOOO the big shock was supposed to be Bierko taking over the Russian submarine? Yeah, I get that the thing is equipped with 12 missiles but I wasn't shocked at all ... a real shocker would've been something like finding out that Martha Logan was the mastermind behind the day's events ... or finding out that Karen Hayes was a Russian spy. I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens during the 2-hour season finale next week. I'm sure it'll be good ... but I'm afraid this season is going to fizzle out (much like last season did). At the very least, Jack Bauer is going to confront President Logan -- that should be worth watching. [Screencaptures via TwentyFourOnline.com]

Check out these really cute pictures of the Gyllenhaal fam (sans Maggie) spending some time together on Mother's Day in Malibu, CA ... could Jake get any cuter?!

Le sigh! The parents ... the dogs ... isn't he such a good son? [Source]

Nicole Richie didn't take her mother to the beach for Mother's Day, instead she took Mama Richie to The Ivy in Beverly Hills for a lovely brunch:

No word on whether or not the pair actually ate brunch at The Ivy but they did look cute together. [Source]

Speaking of cute mother/daughter couples, check out this picture of Courtney Love taking Francis Bean for a horseback ride also on Mother's Day:

Actually, the cute mother/daughter couple that I'm talking about in this picture is the horses ... Courtney hasn't been looking cute for some time now ... [Source]

... case in point, check out these newer pictures of C. Love shopping around Beverly Hills:

Personally, I think that Cillian Murphy makes a way hotter Scarecrow but Courtney Love definitely makes the way scarier Scarecrow. Yikes! [Source]

Ryan Phillippe must like the way his new pecs look when he wears tight t-shirts (altho, I suspect, not as much as we like the way they look) because he is hard at work hanging on to those hot pecs ... check out these pictures of Ryan on his way to the gym:

Personally, I prefer it when Ryan does his working out at the outdoor LA track underneath the beating sun ... with the sweat glistening off his shirtless body ... as he huffs and puffs thru his work out. Whew! Is the heat on? Suddenly it's very hot around here. Woot! [Source]

Bono has teamed up with Motorola to release a new red SLVR mobile phone in UK that will raise money to fight AIDS in Africa. The red SLVR phone is the latest product to be tied into Bono's (PRODUCT) RED campaign:

The U2 singer has teamed up with the world's number two handset maker Motorola Inc., which has produced a red version of its slimline SLVR model for sale to UK consumers. The 149-pound ($282) handset can be used on all major UK mobile networks, and will see Motorola and retailers such as Carphone Warehouse contribute 10 pounds from the sale of each phone into a global fund to fight AIDS and other diseases. Britain's mobile operators will donate a further 5 percent of the monthly phone bill of each consumer using the red MOTOSLVR phone to the fund. Users only need to transfer their Sim card from their existing handsets to the red phone to start contributing to the fund. I think it's genius to pair extremely popular products with charitable organizations like fighting AIDS in Africa. This way, people have even more incentive to help raise money for good causes. Even if you think this is a cheap marketing ploy, the fact remains that this ploy will still raise lots of money to fight AIDS. [Source]

Prince Harry was lookin' migh-ty fine at an event in Hyde Park in London that paid tribute to England's military veterans ... who knew that bowler hats could actually look hot?

Hahahahahaha! Loves it! [Source]

People magazine has the exclusive pictures from Tori Spelling's Fijian wedding to Dean McDermott that took place a couple of weeks ago ... feast your eyes on the joyous celebration:

Awww ... sweet ... how romantic ... I still give it 8 months. [Source]

Maxim magazine has released its Hot 100 list of the most successful women in film, TV, music, sports and fashion ... for the second year in a row Eva Longoria tops the list (yeah, I don't get it either). Here are pictures of the Top 5 women on the list:

The "Desperate Housewives" actress told The Associated Press that her repeat selection for the No. 1 spot was a shock. "I was actually really shocked last year when I made the list," said the 31-year-old Longoria, who ranked No. 91 on the 2004 roster ... "So 91 to No. 1 was a big jump, and then to get it a second time in a row -- I just couldn't believe it," she said Friday. "I was like, 'Surely there are more beautiful women in the world.' I can name 10." Maxim said it is the first time the magazine has bestowed the No. 1 honor back-to-back. Editors made the selections for the issue, which will be on newsstands Thursday. What an interesting list ... I'm actually surprised that Lindsay Lohan ranked so high (and above Angelina Jolie, no less) -- L. Lo doesn't seem much like a Maxim girl. Click HERE to see the entire list of the Top 100. [Source]

Esquire magazine has chosen their pick for the Sexiest Woman Alive ... but won't reveal who she is right off the bat ... this sexy woman will be revealed in 6 parts and here is your first clue:

I'm guessing this woman has big, puffy lips. Who do you think it is? [Source]

Genre magazine will be featuring a slew of gay porn stars in their June issue. The porn guys were photographed in some very shocking ways ... wearing clothing:

Make sure you pick up the June issue of Genre mag to see Falcon porn stars Matthew Rush, Roman Heart, Ethan Kage and Eric Rhodes wearing clothes -- you know, if you're into that kind of thing. [Source]

And finally, head on over to the Elle Girl magazine website to vote for my dawg Andrew in Totalboy Last Guy Standing contest:

The competition is down to the last 4 guys ... let's make sure Andrew wins the whole shebang! XOXO [Source]

Need more incentive to vote for Andrew? Check out his Urban Pinup picture at LastNightsParty.com (semi-NSFW).

Les News:
I spent the whole day at home yesterday ... it was glorious ... I was a lazy slob and I enjoyed every minute of it :)

Tonight I'm hanging out with Tracey and Zakiya in Ann Arbor. It's been far too long since I've seen my baby Z and I can't wait. I'll see what I can do about bringing back some pictures.

That's it ... I'm out.
