Happy Birthday Tori

Because I love Tori Amos so much I wanted to give her her own little Birthday Lurve post since today is her birthday. Tori turns a beautiful 43 years old today:

I cannot even tell you how many wonderful memories I have that involve Tori Amos in one way or another. Her music has been an integral part of my life for years and I don't know that I will ever be able to thank her properly for that. I only hope she has an exquisite birthday full of happiness and love. I know all the Ears with Feet out there are sending her all their love today ... just like I am.

Happy Birthday, Tori! Send us some new music soon!

XO

<3 Break

Talk about bringing sexy back (and now, thanks to Justin's song we're gonna be using that phrase for quite some time now), here are amazing new pictures of Jude Law playing a little game of cricket with some friends on the beach over the weekend ...

... yeah, I'm not *at all* interested in seeing his friends ... nor am I that concerned with his short pants ... I'm just admiring the view. He is a sexy beast! [Source]

ATTENTION: PRISON BREAK SPOILER ALERT WARNING

After what seems like a pretty short hiatus (last season ended in late May), Prison Break returned with its second season last night on Fox. There was only one big surprise in last night's ep (and a sad surprise at that) but for the most part the whole episode was geared towards getting the audience acquainted with the new FBI agent that is hot on the Prison Breakers tails:

It looks like much of the new season will revolve around the deciphering of Michael's intricate planning and clues ... the new agent dude is already hard at work figuring things out. I'm very glad to know that Dr. Sara didn't OD herself to death ... I'm also glad to know that Michael will be looking out for her. My heart pretty much sank into my shoes when Veronica got shot and, apparently, killed. I love Robin Tunney so much ... she was the main reason that I started watching the show in the first place. It looks like they will be killing off more characters this season ... I wouldn't be surprised if one of the escapees gets killed somewhere along the way. So far the show is off to a pretty good start ... I'm intrigued with where things are going. We'll see if they will be able to keep the audience's interest. There are a lot of scenarios that can play out ... we'll have to see where they take the story next. [Source]

The Gyllenhaal clan came together to support the patriarch of the family at his poetry reading at Martha's Vineyard this past Saturday night ... here are a few pictures from the event:

Stephen Gyllenhaal was reading excerpts from his new book of poetry Clap Trap: Notes from Hollywood and his whole family was there to support him. Yes, Jakey poo and his fine booty were there as well. As of yet, we still haven't seen any pictures of Jake's new tattoo (word is that he has a new tattoo on his inner arm) but I don't mind ... it's not his tattoos that I'm really interested in :) [Source]

Speaking of the Gyllenhaals, here are the pictures from Maggie Gyllenhaal's Marie Claire photospread ... it looks like she took the inspiration for her photoshoot from the fashion stylings of Alison Goldfrapp:

Yep, it looks like Maggie is wearing the same hat that Alison is wearing on the cover of the last Goldfrapp album ... HMMMM ... I wonder if it was intentional. At any rate, it's a pretty cool look for Maggie ... and it's clear that the photos were taken before she started showing her pregnancy. [Source]

Becks and Posh were on hand for the launch of the their new fragrance Intimately Beckham in the UK yesterday ... er, I should say a couple of wanna be Becks and Poshes were on hand for the launch:

imagine being so famous that you can just call on your impersonators to rock up to an event instead of you. And so it is for Posh and Becks. At the launch of their new perfume, Intimately Beckham, onlookers would have been forgiven for doing a double take when they saw who they thought were Posh and Becks. Because instead of the genuine celeb duo... there was a couple of lookalikes. Um ... I don't think they look very much like the real David and Victoria Beckham. The guy only looks like Becks because of his hair and the girl only looks like Victoria because of her sunglasses. She's got way too much meat on her bones to actually pass for Victoria Beckham. Hmm ... it's actually a pretty good time to be a celeb impersonator these days ... first the fake Paris Hilton scored a spread in Playboy magazine and now this. Who knew fake would be so hot in Hollywood? [Source]

Mischa Barton Ashlee Simpson paid a little visit to Hyde nightclub over the weekend ... but what I don't get is why she didn't show up as herself:

NOOOOO ... what the hell is wrong with Ashlee? She can't stay pretty for like 5 seconds before she goes and mucks it all up again. This flat hair/wet dog/Mischa Barton thing has got to stop. She should deff go back to her last good look ... you know, the one where she looked exactly like her sister Jessica Simpson. [Source]

Here are a couple pictures of Brad Pitt and George Clooney playing with their toys on the set of their new movie Ocean's 13:

It would seem that Brad Pitt and George Clooney on their motorcycles are becoming the new Jake Gyllenhaal and Matthew McConaughey on their bicycles ... except the elder dudes are wearing a lot more clothing and are sporting a lot more grey hair. I love it ... it's so cute when guys hang out and play like this. [Source]

Brad's babymama, Angelina Jolie, is not only appearing in ads for St. John's apparel but she is also the new face of Shiseido cosmetics ... here are a couple pictures from her new ad campaign:

I'm not exactly sure why Angelina feels the need to appear in ad campaigns but she sure does look hot when she does so. Who knows, maybe Angelina will become the new face of Target and will bring her sexy stare and hot lips to the weekly circular of my fave store some day. [Source]

Ugh ... I mentioned yesterday that Vincent "Don Vito" Margera, uncle to Bam Margera, was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault against two 12-year old girls ... here is his mug shot and more deets of the arrest:

Vincent Margera, who appears on the MTV reality show "Viva La Bam" was in court Monday in Jefferson County, accused of inappropriately touching a child. Margera, known by his nickname Don Vito, was arrested Friday night after being accused of two incidents of sexual assault on a child after a skateboarding event at the Colorado Mills Mall in Lakewood. He is accused of of sexually assaulting two 12-year-old girls ... Meanwhile, a Thornton woman said Margera inappropriately touched her when she asked him to take a photo with her. Photos provided by Bonnie Moreno and her husband showed Margera licking her face as she kissed him on the cheek. She also said he inappropriately touched her. Gross! I, for the life of me, don't even understand why anyone would want to get close enough to Mr. Vito to have a picture taken with him but ... whatev. I really hope that he didn't do what he's accused of ... it's a sick thought to think that Don Vito was touching girls. What the hell is wrong with people these days? [Source]

WEEEE ... here is a new picture of Ryan Phillppe wearing his cute little sailor suit from his new movie Flags of our Fathers:

You know, I'm not normally a fan of bell bottoms but I think I can make an exception in Ryan's case. [Source]

Ashton Kutcher is on the cover of the new issue of Details magazine:

Altho, if Ashton's name wasn't listed on the cover you might've mistaken him for Gale Harold. Oh and someone might want to clue Ashton into the fact that the Brokeback Mountain-thing is sooo yesterday. [Source]

I'm not sure how I missed seeing Shadowboxer in the theaters when it was released in July but I'm really feeling the pangs of regret right now ... here are a few screencaps of a Stephen Dorff sex scene from the movie ... and let me tell you ... he is leaving NOTHING to the imagination. BE WARNED -- the screencaps are extremely NSFW:

Click above to see NSFW UNCENSORED screencaps

I ... uh ... yeah ... I think I now understand why Pamela Anderson was so enamored of the lad for all that time between marriages. Somebody get this guy an Oscar! [Source]

I have to send out some lurve to a few Pink readers who have been celebrating birthdays in fun Pink is the new Blog style. Brandon (pictured with his brother Brian and sister Amy) recently turned 15 years old -- Casey and her friends Paula, Devon, Jenn, Brent and Elizabeth celebrated her birthday in fine Pink fashion -- and Kate celebrated her 23rd birthday with her friends Julie, Vanessa and Diana at their "Pink Is the New Hot/Not" themed party:

Seriously ... all of these parties look like so much fun ... I should start getting invites, y'all! Actually, I'm just kidding ... invites are not necessary but I do love getting the pictures. Thank you all for sending them in. [thanks Brandon, Jenn and Julie]

I also have to send out lots of love to Rae who is retiring after 40 years of working in the Hotel Service Industry. I understand she loves to read PITNB everyday so I hope she'll have lots more time to read whenever she likes with all her new free time:

Congrats and good luck Rae -- I'll keep posting pictures of David Beckham for ya! ... XOXO [thanks Anna]

And finally, please indulge me for one moment to send out a huge Peace the Spork Out to John Abbott (played by Jerry Douglas) from the daytime drama The Young and the Restless. John has been a major figure on the show for over 20 years ... he "died" yesterday and I felt it was appropriate to give him a send off:

OMG ... I know I'm lame but it's my mother's fault! She got me hooked on this stupid show years ago and I try to tune in every once-in-a-while to see what is going on. And by once-in-a-while I mean pretty much every day I'm free to watch. I can't believe they killed John -- wait til my mother finds out ... the show won't be the same without him. OY ... I somehow feel I just lost the respect of millions.

El News:
Last night Jim drove in from Orange County so that we could hang out together ... first, he dragged me to Fuel so that I could watch him sing karaoke. As long as I wasn't doing any of the singing I was cool with it. Davey met us for a drink and a song and then we had to be on our way. We made a quick appearance at the Ludacris party at Social Hollywood. We got there extremely late ... and pretty much missed the whole thing. But we did get to hang out for a bit. I got to meet Pink readers Deva and Sarah who are, like, the coolest chicks ever.

Tonight I hear that a couple of friends of mine, who shall remain nameless, are thinking about strippin' down to their undies at MJ's tonight. I may have to show up just to make sure that it actually happens ... I may have photos tomorrow.

That is all ... I'm out.
