9021-OH MY GAWD!

Kevin Federline has moved his album promo tour to the East Coast after doing pretty much everything he could do here on the West Coast. After performing at the KIIS Halloween concert here in West Hollywood (where he got booed pretty much for the duration of his short performance), K-Fed hopped on a plane and made his way to NYC. Here are pictures of K-Fed's appearance on MTV's TRL this past Thursday:

There were rumblings earlier this week that ticket sales for K-Fed's concert at Webster Hall in NYC tonight were so poor that the show might be cancelled but so far the show is a go. If any of you lucky New Yorkers happen to go to the show and want to give me a full report, please feel free -- who knows, Britney Spears might be there as well. I have yet to witness The Federline perform live so I'm dying to know if he really sucks as much as most people have been reporting. [Source]

Last night, most of the cast of Beverly Hills, 90210 and some of the cast of Melrose Place were on hand for the launch party for The Complete First Seasons of both BH, 90210 and Melrose Place at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills ... here are a few photos from the red carpet:

I was lucky enough to attend this event and happily brought Sarah along as my date. As much as I love 90210 and Melrose Place (and really, who doesn't?) Sarah is THE BIGGEST 90210 FAN EVER! To this day she still watches every rerun of the show that airs on Soap Network multiple times daily (no lie). Only Shannen Doherty and Luke Perry failed to attend the event (Shannen said she would only attend if Luke did) ... and even the peeps that showed up left right after the red carpet. Unfortch we were not able to meet Jason Priestly, Jennie Garth or Tori Spelling (even tho Tori did stay briefly for the actual party) because we were too bizzy boozing it up with Brian (no longer Austin) Green and Ian Ziering at the party. Fans of the shows have been waiting for these DVDs for YEARS and finally we will be able to purchase them on Tuesday. According to Brian Green (who was looking F-I-N-E in his pin stripe suit), the reason that it took so long for the DVDs to be released was because of the music licensing. The party was a huge hit ... everyone there had a blast. I'll have more deets about the party at the end of the post. [Source]

Speaking of Brian Green, here are pictures from earlier this week of him and his fiancee out and about in LA:

By the looks of these rings there was speculation that the pair were already married but Brian told us that they are still engaged. You can't tell from these pictures, but his fiancee is absolutely stunning. She looked amazing at the party last night. Ahhh, it's weird to think of little David Silver getting married to anyone other than Donna Martin. [Source]

Yesterday I posetd a newslink that Snoop Dogg was being charged with felonious weapon possession and would be facing up to 3 years in prison if convicted ... today we get to check a picture of Snoop as he was handcuffed and led away by the police when he was arrested at Bob Hope airport last week:

The rapper — who was arrested for illegal gun and drug possession in a separate incident at Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, California, a week ago (see "Snoop Dogg Arrested For Drug, Gun Possession At Airport") — is accused of carrying a 20-inch collapsible baton in his laptop case through a security checkpoint. According to the Orange County District Attorney's office, a warrant has been issued for his arrest, with bail set at $150,000. If convicted, Snoop could face a maximum sentence of three years in state prison. "This case is bogus," Snoop's attorney, Donald Etra, said Thursday. "The DA knows that and we're confident a jury will come to that conclusion." Etra said the baton was a prop for a video Snoop was going to shoot and that it was inadvertently left in his bag. The possession charges were filed as a felony because Snoop has a criminal record. Hmmm ... he was arrested before for marijuana and gun possession but he's being charged for baton possession. What?! I don't think that celebs should get any special treatment by the authorities merely because they're famous but I have to agree that this charge seems very bogus. Don't you think it would hurt his cred if he went to prison for carrying a stick? Boo! [Source]

While Brad Pitt makes his way back to the US to do promo for his new movie Babel, Angelina Jolie (and the kids) stayed behind in New Delhi for the weekend as a UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador where she hung out with Myanmar and Afghan refugees:

You know, it was basically a typical Saturday for superhumanitarian Angelina Jolie. [Source]

Here are new pictures of Nicole Richie out and about in LA looking pretty damn good with her new darker hair color:

I love this new hair color. Nicole has been taking it on the chin a lot these days since revealing to the press that she has hired a team of doctors to try and find out if there is a medical reason why she cannot gain weight (which has been incorrectly spun as "Nicole goes to rehab") but it's cool to see her out looking great. I hear she's doing very well and I think it really shows. [Source]

Here are pictures of a kinda butch-looking Alanis Morrissete out for a spin on her motorcycle with some of her lady friends ... which is kinda fitting since this week Alanis appeared on Nip/Tuck as a lesbian. Hmm ... I wonder where her loverboy Ryan Reynolds was?

Whatevs ... I cannot hate on Alanis at all. I love her music, I love that she's engaged to a superhot guy and I'm glad to know that she's very happy. I say, let her butch it up if she wants to ... at least she gets to go home to Ryan and his killer abs. [Source]

Brooke Shields (interestingly enough, also appearing on Nip/Tuck this season) is doing her best Madonna impersonation as she reads to a bunch of kids at the launch of the Toys for Tots Million Toy Drive at a Toys "R" Us in New York:

Apparently Brooke chose to read A Lesson in Giving instead of Madonna's new book The English Roses: Too Good to be True ... which is no way to get on Maddy's good side. [Source]

Here is the cover artwork for Emma Bunton's (formerly Baby Spice) new album Life in Mono which is due for release at the end of the month:

First thing, Emma looks amazing on this cover! Even tho the angle is a bit unflattering for her face (and that forehead -- yipes!) her legs more than make up for it. Wow. I am still utterlly fascinated with the Spice Girls and I'm very happy that they are all still working and are successful (even Mel C). I wasn't too keen on Emma's last album so I hope this one is a goody. [Source]

And finally, here is a new batch of fun photos sent in by a few Pink is the new Blog readers marking important or fun occasions in PITNB style -- Danielle from Victoria, BC (photographed by her friend Kim) looking FABULOUS at the half-way point in reaching 6 out of 12 chemotherapy treatments for Hodgkin's Lymphoma -- Kasia & Maja lookin' pretty in pink -- Maddie with her PITNB Sweet 16 birthday cake -- Kristin, Amanda and a bunch of South Texas College of Law girls in Houston doing the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure last weekend -- Heidi and Kurt doing their best Brangelina a la Mr. & Mrs. Smith for Halloween this year:

Once again, thank you all for your photos. It is hugely fulfilling to hear from so many readers from around the world. I cannot thank you enough for including PITNB in your celebrations and milestone achievements. Y'all rule hardcore ... thanks again! XO

PS: Congrats to Jenny, a University of Oklahoma College of Law graduate, who just found out that she passed the Texas Bar. Colleen and I are thrilled for you!!

Les News:
So ... I'm a bit sad that my David had to fly back to NYC last night. I loved having him here but he does have many things that he needs to take care of back home so it's all good. As much as I keep saying I don't want to travel any more ... well, we'll see how that actually turns out.

I couldn't be too sad last night because Sarah and I had a date to hang out with the kids from West Beverly High at the DVD release party for the Complete First Seasons of Beverly Hills, 90210 and Melrose Place last night. As I mentioned earlier, we missed out on actually meeting a few of the principle cast members but we did get to meet Brian (no longer Austin) Green, Josie Davis, Ian Ziering, Daphne Zuniga and Vanessa Williams:

I got to have really great convos with both Josie Davis (who joined 90210 in its final season but is prolly better remembered as the younger sister on Charles in Charge) and Vanessa Williams (who appeared in the first season of Melrose Place and looked absolutely gorgeous in person) who both have exciting projects coming out very soon. Sarah was in HEAVEN last night and kept fawning over Brian Green aka David Silver -- which wasn't too hard to do since he was looking so fly.

We had a blast ... I was so happy that Sarah was in town to enjoy this party with me:

I also got to meet Pink readers Erica and Korbi (pictured above), Craig, Mike and my peeps at People magazine. Woot!

After the party, we weren't finished having fun so we went to The Abbey for a couple of drinks and then went across the street to dance at Pop Starz. Unfortch, once we got inside we found out that Pop Starz was actually Girl Bar and we ended up partying with the WeHo lesbians. Shoot ... we had fun ... go-go girls were HOT and we had a blast.

OY! I'm still hurtin' today but it was totes worth it. Tonight we're going to see our friend Adriana at her Derby Dolls roller derby game. I'm thinkin' I might have to take Sarah to Hot Dog at 7969 to show her the WeHo homos. Holla!

Have a great Saturday, y'all. I'm out.
