The Fantastic IV

Hmmm ... there is a very interesting development in the Splitney Divorce Saga that has been developing all week long. It seemed that Britney Spears was the one in complete control of every aspect of this conflict from the very get-go. She was the one who shocked the world, and Kevin Federline himself, with news of the divorce and she was the one who saw fit to tie him down with an iron-clad pre-nup. It looked like she did everything right ... but now it appears that K-Fed *might* have himself a very powerful bargaining chip. News of the World (a British tabloid) is reporting that Kevin Federline has in his possession an explicit Spederline sex tape that he is threatening to sell if Britney does not meet his demands:

SUPERSTAR Britney Spears is facing a mega divorce payout because she did it again and again and again...on a HONEYMOON sex video. Dumped husband Kevin Federline has been touting the four-hour tape for sale and has already been offered £26 MILLION. A film company wants to make it available online to fans around the world. One close pal said: "This vid is dynamite and Kev knows it" ... Britney, 24, fears the raunchy footage will destroy her wholesome image unless she caves in to his demands for a £16million payoff and custody of their children Sean Preston, one, and Jayden James, eight weeks. She is worried she will become infamous like Paris Hilton — whose home-made sex video, was put on the internet by her ex and became one of the world's most popular sites ... The home-made video is believed to show the naked couple enjoying an uninhibited range of love-making and sexual games. It was made during the first weeks of their relationship two years ago when they were holed up in one of the exclusive bungalows at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles. The source close to Federline said: "At the time the two of them were in the honeymoon stages of the relationship and couldn't keep their hands off each other. "They did nothing all day but have sex—and play the odd game of chess. They were insatiable and they believed they would be together forever. Britney didn't think twice about making the video at the time. She mistakenly believed that their love would last. They adored filming each other. They lived their lives in front of the cameras—even making a short-lived reality TV show of their exploits. Wow! Who knows if this story is really true, who knows if this information is really coming from a real "source close to Federline" but it is definitely a possibility and I wouldn't put it past K-Fed to pull a stunt like this. My only hope is that this story is being shopped around as a bluff and that Britney has those tapes ('cuz you *know* they do exist -- hello, have you seen Britney & Kevin: Chaotic?) locked up securely in a safe somewhere under her control. If K-Fed does have a copy of this alleged tape in his possession, I'm fairly certain he's gonna get what he's asking for ... except for custody of the children -- he'll never have sole custody of her children. My guess is that he's only going after the kids to scare Brit into paying out more money. Wow ... all I can say is Wow. [Source]

The News of the World story also alleges that the real reason that Britney suddenly decided to divorce him was because she caught Kevin cheating on her: And the News of the World can also reveal that Britney slapped divorce papers on Federline — who had already been linked with hookers — after she caught him in a bedroom with another woman ... We can reveal Britney — worth at least £50million after hits like Hit Me Baby One More Time — filed for divorce after she stormed into his hotel room and found him with another woman. The singer flew into New York a day after her wannabe rapper husband to join his tour. But he stood her up at The Library restaurant, and she was seen in floods of tears before storming to the Regency Hotel where he was staying. A source said: "It is against the hotel's policy to give keys to people not staying in the hotel, but she was so upset that when she demanded it they handed it straight over. She raced up to his room and found another girl in there. They didn't need to be doing anything. Just the fact she was in there was enough to confirm months of suspicions, rumours and accusations about him playing away. Two members of staff were fired for handing over the keys, but the damage was done. Britney had seen all she had to and decided their marriage was over on the spot." Last week she filed for divorce after dumping him by text. Furthermore, the story also alleges that K-Fed's shady behavior has been a problem for quite some time now: SOBBING Britney broke down in her mum's arms last week as she finally admitted: My husband is a love rat into GAMBLING, HOOKERS and DRUGS. Worried Lynne Spears begged her daughter to leave Federline. Now Britney has finally accepted that he, ROMPED with Vegas hookers, SNORTED cocaine and popped ecstasy in a limo, and SQUANDERED millions on boozy 24-hour gambling sessions. A close friend of Britney revealed: "For ages she was blinded by love for Kevin. Now she's seen the light." Prostitute Danielle Coakley, 20, has told how she took drugs and partied with Federline while Britney was pregnant. She said: "Kevin was a real party animal. We went to two casinos then back to his hotel suite in Vegas. There were lots of drugs—cocaine, weed and ecstasy. We shared an E in his limo on the way then passed out on his bed." And £500-a-night stripper Vanessa Hulihan, 30, revealed she spent weekends with him. She said: "Kevin said we could be together if he wasn't married. Another time I went to his hotel suite and the tub was full of strippers." Kevin was also seen blowing thousands at gambling tables while cuddling up to porn star Kendra Jade, 29. Yeah, that's a lot of information that I'm not quite sure I totally believe but you never know. Isn’t it interesting that these lurid details come out after news of the impending divorce. A representative for the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas denies these claims by Danielle Caokley: Hard Rock representative JEFF BEACHER denies the women's claims, telling the Las Vegas Review Journal, "Anyone that can take a stripper and a hooker seriously obviously has their own issues. "We were with Kevin all weekend - no drugs and no girls." And there you go ... who knows what's true and who knows what's coming next. I think it's safe to say that this thing is going to get very, very nasty. I'm confident that Britney will eventually emerge victorious ... but you never really know -- that sex tape might hit the InterWeb very soon afterall.

Incidentally, I do not believe that the "Britney Sex Tape" that has already hit the 'Net is real. I do not think it looks like her at all, Fleshbot agrees. Click HERE to judge for yourself -- BE WARNED, THE LINKS ARE EXTREMELY NSFW!!!

One last bit of K-Fed news ... here are a couple pictures of homeboy's luggage being loaded onto his tour bus ... is that really a FedEx package on top?

Blah ... all this Spederline stuff has gotten really dirty ... let's move on to something nice ... U2 frontman Bono surprised the audience in attendance at the second night of Kylie Minogue's Showgirl Homecoming Tour. He came on stage and sang the duet Kids with Miss Kylie to the thrill of her assembled fans:

U2 frontman Bono showed his support for Kylie Minogue last night by singing a duet with the Australian pop singer in Sydney. The duo sang Minogue's hit, Kids, which the singer originally recorded with Brit Robbie Williams, before 10,000 people at the Sydney Entertainment Centre. "Ladies and gentlemen, we are in the company of greatness tonight," Minogue said. "Let me hear it for Bono." Bono emerged on stage holding a diamante-encrusted microphone and wearing a black suit, following Minogue around the stage as the crowd erupted. There was more screaming midway through the song when Bono pulled from his suit jacket a diamante-encrusted cat leash. Minogue was wearing a leopard-print cat suit "It's such an honour for you to sing with me," Minogue said. Bono then jumped in and said, "You're perfect". The pair danced around the stage and Bono got down on his knees, kissed Minogue's hand and thanked her at the end of the duet. Aww ... I love it! I think it's incredibly cool that Bono would do that for Kylie -- but can we just talk for a second about how cute Kylie looks in that cat outfit?! OMG ... she's adorable. The tour sounds amazing. I'm sure there will be more surprises to come ... and yes, I'm insanely jealous of those of you lucky enough to attend these concerts. [Source, Source]

Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and their children Maddox and Zahara Jolie-Pitt decided that it would be a great idea to take a little stroll in Mumbai, India where they have relocated so that Angelina can film more scenes for her new movie A Mighty Heart ... and it looks like most of Mumbai came along for the walk:

MUMBAI: Hollywood star Angelina Jolie is in the metropolis to shoot for a film based on the life of slain American journalist Daniel Pearl, who lived in the city for seven years. The actress flew in by a private chopper on Saturday and checked into a luxury hotel in South Mumbai, police sources said. I love how it's always such a spectacle whenever they go out in public ... Zahara does not look impressed with all the onlookers. She looks like she's about to open a can of whoop-ass on someone. That little girl is gonna grow up to be a spitfire -- I can see it now. [Source]

When Brad Pitt isn't bizzy touring cities with his family as they get photographed, he's off by himself snapping pictures of his own ... here are a few pics of Brad Pitt the photojournalist:

It's unfortunate that Brad felt it necessary to copy that stupid handkerchief thing that both Kanye West and Justin Timberlake are trying to "make happen", especially since he's doing a disservice by coving up his face ... but hey, blame it on the dust, I suppose. Oh ... and my, my ... what a large lens you have, Mr. Pitt. [Source]

Brad isn't the only celeb who has taken up photography as a hobby ... here are a couple pictures of Jennifer Lopez with a pretty spiffy camera of her own:

It's interesting to see the shoe on the other foot. Celebs taking pictures is so ... unnatural. [Source]

Michelle Trachtenburg was on hand for an AFI screening of her new movie Beautiful Ohio (which was directed by Chad Lowe) earlier this week ... here are a couple pics:

She absolutely looks beautiful in these pictures. I'm excited for this new movie ... and for the other movie with Ohio in its title The Oh in Ohio (which stars Mischa Barton's nipples). Wait, when did Ohio get so cool? I missed the memo. [Source]

Speaking of beautiful, Pink reader Patryk sends in these great pictures of Kelis from her new ad campaign for UNIQLO clothing:

Oh yes ... Kelis is the shizz. I heart her totally. [Source, thanks Patryk]

And finally, it's time for the Hot Dude of the Week ... feast your eyes on Ryan and his fine, chiseled physique:

Doesn't Ryan look all mean and serious? The lad looks like he needs to relax ... maybe loosen up those bandages on his fists, get rid of any extraneous clothing and chill out. Yeah, or he can just stand there looking totally hot. It's really OK either way. [Source]

Les News:
Yesterday afternoon I was in the mood to see a movie and because I have about 60 movies on my list to see I figured I'd go see one. I heard that they were doing a remake of Night of the Living Dead in 3D earlier this year but totally forgot all about it until I saw a commercial for the movie Friday afternoon. I am a fan of 3D movies and I figured the goriness would really be fun to watch so that was what I decided to see:

First off, I have to say that I was quite impressed that the whole movie is presented in 3D. None of that fake shizz or short sections of 3D, the whole movie is in 3D. Sadly, that is the only good thing about the movie. I absolutely love the remake of Dawn of the Dead (starring Sarah Polley and Ving Rhames) from a couple of years ago. It is one of my fave horror movies of all time. I absolutely hated Land of the Dead (despite the fact that super hottie Simon Baker and Asia Argento both starred in it) and I really hoped that this remake of Night of the Living Dead would be as cool as Dawn of the Dead was ... it is not. I think they were going for that '50s feel that the original movie had ... slow action, lame dialog (if they weren't going for that feel then they really effed it up because it just didn't work at all). They could have made it as fast-paced and gory as Dawn was and in 3D to really make a kickass movie -- they did not. The story is updated ... all the action takes place on a pot farm (and there are funny scenes involving a joint) and there is an explanation for where the zombies come from. But I like it better without the explanation ... Dawn handles the whole zombie thing perfectly. No explanation, just gore and guts from the get-go. If it weren't for the really cool 3D effects thruout the entire movie I would have hated it totally ... but we don't get many real 3D movies anymore so I think it's worth seeing just for the experience. Don't expect to get scared, grossed out or interested in the story whatsoever. Try and enjoy what you can ... then bring home the glasses and download the fun 3D wallpapers at the official website. I'm disappointed that they really didn't maximize how cool this movie could've been.

Also on Friday I received an email from a very good friend who let me know that Veruca Salt was playing a last minute show at Safari Sam's on Saturday night and because it's been so long since I've seen Veruca Salt live there was no way I was gonna miss this show. They were scheduled to go on at 11:30 pm and I got there just before the opening band was finished, met up with my good friend Irene and got ourselves situated right in front of the stage. I cannot tell you how amazing it was to see Veruca Salt play live again. The music just took me back 10 + years and really reminded me why they are one of my fave bands of all time:

Thruout the whole concert, as I watched Louise Post strum her guitar and heard her sing my favorite songs, I just kept thinking how awesome it is that they're still going strong after all these years. They sounded amazing and had everyone in the place rocking out. Here is the setlist from last night's show:

So Weird
Don't Make Me Prove It
Centipede
Innocent
Shutter Bug
Save You
Born Entertainer
For Days
Victorola (with Celebrate You intro)
Closer
Straight
Sick As Your Secrets

encore

One Last Time (Louise solo acapella)
All Hail Me
Seether
Hellraiser

From the stage, Louise noted that she brought along her pink flying V guitar, her pink guitar picks and "Trent from Pink is the new Blog". I about died right there on the spot. As Mexican as I am, I'm sure I turned about 3 shades of red. At the encore, right before they performed All Hail Me (my fave Veruca Salt song ever), Louise dedicated it to me ... and once again, I about died. I don't know what I did to deserve such an awesome gift, but I can assure you I am very grateful. I also hafta admit, I got a little choked up as well. To have one of my musical heroes dedicate my fave song to me is something I could only wish for. It really made me feel awesome.

After the show I got to meet Pink reader Natasha and got to hang out with the band for a little bit:

Mainly I wanted to just thank them so much for a great show and for playing All Hail Me ... but I got to bond with guitarist Stephen (who is mad cool as hell ... any guy who can hump your leg and not be ashamed about it is aces in my book) and got to meet Nicole (bass) and Kelly (drums). Do yourselves a favor ... see this band live if they come anywhere in your vicinity. I promise, you'll absolutely fall in love with them.

It was so great getting to hang out with my Irene:

She is my #1 VS buddy and I heart her totally!

Woot ... it was a great night ... but lemme wrap this up ... I might be going to this tonight:

Mainly because Junior Sanchez is a righteous dude and I love hearing him spin.

I have to wish a very Happy Birthday to my friend Sherri ... who I will be seeing very soon!

And lastly, since last night was exactly one week after that horrible hit-and-run accident that my friends and I witnessed, I was thinking about that couple pretty much all day long (they occupy my thoughts a lot actually). Louise Post brought out flowers to throw out into the crowd at the concert and she tossed me a big, beautiful sunflower. On my way home from the concert, at about 2:30 AM I went back to the 101 Coffee Shop and left that flower right on the spot where the girl passed away. I said a little prayer for her and her recovering boyfriend and went home. It's amazing how life just goes on -- what a difference a week makes.

That is all. I'm out.
