My Only Wish

So ... a bunch of Britney Spears fans (chief among them -- BreatheHeavy.com and WorldofBritney.com) have come up with a fun little way for us all to show Britney how much we still love and support her (stay with me here). I gotta say, I think it's a pretty good idea ... it's a great way to honor the Britney that we all know and love. Sometime today, log in to iTunes and download her Xmas song My Only Wish (This Year) in the hopes that if thousands (millions?!) of fans all download the song today then she will get the #1 spot on the iTunes download chart:

Click HERE to download Britney's Xmas song My Only Wish (This Year). If the link won't work try these easy steps:
  1. Open iTunes
  2. Click on the Store tab at the top, then "Sign in" (use log in information)
  3. Click Store tab again, then click "Search"
  4. In the Artist field type "Britney Spears". In the Song field type "My Only Wish This Year". Click "Search"
  5. It should show up on the bottom half of iTunes. Click Buy Song
To be quite honest, this is one of my fave Xmas songs because it's pretty old skool poppy Britney. Do yourself a favor (do it for Brit-Brit), download the song ... and take heart, none of the money you spend on this download will ever go to K-Fed. [Source, Source]

Last night Michelle Trachtenberg, Katie Cassidy and others were on hand for the Hollywood premiere of their new Xmas movie charmingly titled Black Christmas. Here are a few photos from the red carpet:

I'm sure that Michelle really loves her dress ... awww, isn't that cute? I was just shocked that Tara Reid (who, incidentally, learned that 45th is the charm ... she finally was allowed entry into Hyde nightclub last night) had the wherewithal to remain standing the entire time she walked the red carpet. I think this must have been the first movie premiere that actress Mary Elizabeth Winstead ever went to ... the poor little lamb had to wear her old prom dress for the event. This Black Christmas is a remake of the horror classic that was released back in 1974 (a very good year, I might add) and promises to provide all the gory grodiness that your little heart can take come Christmas day. I don't know that I'll be making my way to the Cineplex on Christmas to see this movie (tho I do plan on seeing it at some point) but I'm sure that my adorable Jewish boyfriend can take his folks and sibs out for this nice family movie. Beyonce paid a little visit to MTV's TRL earlier this week to do promo duty for her new movie Dreamgirls:

My, what a big wig you have there Miss B. [Source]

Donald Trump held a press conference where he allowed the current Miss USA Tara Connor to cry out all of her excuses and apologies in order to hold on to her crown and continue her reign as Miss USA. Here are a few fun photos from the event:

In a move that shocked anyone who has ever seen "The Apprentice," including Tara Conner, Donald Trump announced Tuesday morning that he will not fire the embattled Miss USA, despite allegations of drug use, underage drinking and sexual misconduct. "She's agreed to go into rehab. She knows that if she makes even the slightest mistake from here on, she will be immediately replaced," said Trump. The carefully coifed billionaire explained that he will use Conner as a role model. "I believe she can do a tremendous service to young people." Fighting back tears, and with her voice shaking, Conner thanked Trump for the pardon saying, "In no way did I think it would be possible for a second chance to be given to me." She then went on to shower the Donald in compliments; "I've had a very big blessing bestowed on me. It truly takes someone with a wonderful heart, a heart of gold and a blessed soul." Yep, kissing up to the boss is usually a great strategy when you're trying to keep your job. Personally, I'm not sure a boozy Miss USA who has to be treated for alcohol addiction while she reigns is really a good role model for the pageant. Ah, remember the bygone days when Miss USAs were merely too skinny? [Source]

You know Matthew McConaughey is a sexy beast when he can make pit stains look hot:

The jumping ... not so much. [Source]

Here is a cute picture of a scruffy-looking Adam Brody showin' the world that all the love he needs he can get from his pet pooch (which I believe he still shares with ex-girlfriend Rachel Bilson) named Penny Lane:

I wish my bed head looked that good. Penny is one lucky bitch. [Source]

I had no idea that Cate Blanchett was such a huge Star Trek Voyager fan ... why else would she dress up as the former Borg Seven of Nine at the premiere of her new movie Notes on a Scandal in NYC earlier this week?

The homage is subtle but there nonetheless. Well, if she was going to show up at her premiere looking like a Star Trek character, at least she chose the hottest one. Cate would look terrible as a Ferengi. [Source]

Thank God that Louis Vuitton isn't only using Scarlett Johansson to promote their products ... here are a couple of new, much better European LV ads featuring models Will Chalker and Gemma Ward wearing nothing but a couple of gorge LV bags:

Oh yes, these are way better than those funny-looking Scarlett ads. And what a nice Xmas present that supple tan bag that Will is holding would turn out to be. [Source]

Here are a few more photos of Milo Ventimiglia, of Heroes fame, who is featured in the new issue of Flaunt magazine:

See ... this is what sexy hair looks like. This is the type of look that I was going for when I decided to grow out my hair ... unfortch, mine looks too much like the Fonz on crack so I'm gonna have to give up the hair growth and chop it all off ... this afternoon ... at 4:30pm. Le sigh ... I'll let Milo rock the hot hair while I get the buzz. [Source]

BONUS: Milo talks to Jane magazine HERE.

The new Fall Out Boy video for their new single This Ain't A Scene, It's An Arms Race debuted on MTV last night but you can click HERE to watch it on You Tube. It's a cute vid chock full of cameos and a nice little homage to Pete Wentz' most famous photoshoot:

LOL! At least he's got a sense of humor about it ... and I get another reason to post the pic :) [Source]

Additionally, here is what the cover of the new Fall Out Boy album Infinity On High (not to be confused with the Deee-Lite album Infinity Within) will look like:

Um yeah ... one has to wonder if the boys were enjoying some herbal refreshment when they came up with this cover. Eh, I can dig it. [Source]

Here are a few stills from the upcoming Christina Ricci movie Black Snake Moan which also co-stars Justin Timberlake ... it looks like Christina takes a few blows to the face in this fun-looking film:

Speaking of taking blows, Christina has been getting beat up by her fans and animal activists at large for her love of fur ... so much so that she has vowed to give up fur forever: "After being named on the PETA worst dressed list for wearing fur on the cover of W magazine, I have been deluged with angry and disappointed fans," Ricci wrote in an email on Saturday to PETA's Dan Mathews. "I never meant to hurt nor anger anyone with my insensitivity. For what it is worth, I have received the message loud and clear and will not be wearing fur in the future. I apologize for my offensive actions." A rep for PETA tells me that Ricci's name has been removed from the Worst Dressed list. The animal rights group is also sending her a Christmas basket of "cruelty-free goodies to thank her for her compassionate decision," the rep says. Kudos to Christina for coming to her senses. Fur sucks and should not be worn by anyone but animals. I think she's in my good graces again too! [Source]

See fans, YOU really can make a difference! Celebs are putty in your hands.

Pink reader Amy alerted me to the fact that a new trailer for the Transformers movie has hit the Interweb:

And, thank the Gods, it looks pretty good. You get a few glimpses of a few Transformers (Optimus Prime and Bumblebee are in there but for just a few secs). I'm encouraged at this first real look at the movie ... tho, we still have to wait until next July to see it. [Source, thanks Amy]

And finally, a new season of Celebrity Deathmatch is on the way to MTV2 and it looks like they will be featuring a few of my fave peeps ... including Jake Gyllenhaal, Toby McGuire, Mischa Barton and Kirstin Cavallari:

Woot! I hope at some point while Jake is kicking Toby's ass that he takes off his shirt or something. What? A claymation Jake is still a Jake. The new season of Celebrity Deathmatch debuts on MTV2 in February. [Source]

Les News:
Blah ... I'll refrain from telling you the woes of my travel day yesterday. But I will say that your holiday travel experience will be much nicer if you CHECK-IN ONLINE. I was able to bypass a 1 1/2 hour wait at the check-in counter at United just by checking-in beforehand online. Trust me, it'll help muchly.

David and I were interviewed by Suchin Pak for LX.tv when I was in NYC a couple of weeks ago and we were told it wouldn't come out until January ... but it turns out that they were able to edit the piece (into 4 installments, apparently) and put part 1 online now:

Click HERE to watch the interview (or go directly to LX.tv, it's called Pink/Jossip) and behold my horrid HAIR! And just think, there are 3 more installments to go! Ugh, if I weren't so happy to be talking with Suchin I never would've gone on camera looking like that -- at least David and Suchin look great and the interview did turn out well, I think. Yeah, the Fonz-look has to go ... and it will ... this afternoon ... at 4:30pm.

Even tho it's cold as balls here in D-Town, it's nice to be home. I have a bazillion things to do today (like get a haircut) so I gotta go. I'm out.
