And The Daddy Is ...

Well ... he told us so:

Larry Birkhead is the father. He just announced to the world, "I told you so." [T]he DNA results were unveiled inside and it would seem it's a DNA match for Birkhead and Dannielynn.

The DNA test, just revealed live on TV, has confirmed that Larry Birkhead has been proved 99.9999% that he is the father of Anna Nicole Smith's daughter Dannielynn Hope Smith. See, I told you so, too. [Source]

DNA Day

Well ... the day that we've all been waiting for is finally here. Okay, so maybe not all of us have been waiting for this day but with the way the media has been hyping it, you'd think today was an important day. 7 months after he birth of Dannielynn Hope and about 2 months after the death of Anna Nicole Smith we are finally and hopefully definitively going to find out who the biological father of Dannielynn really is ...

... but that announcement hasn't been made just yet. The official DNA results will not be made public until approx. 2:30pm ET later on today. A defeated Howard K. Stern has already announced that he will not attempt to seek custody of little Dannielynn should Larry Birkhead be proven the father -- it appears that he finally realizes when he's been licked. I absolutely believe that Larry will turn out to be the father of the baby ... a baby that will prolly eventually end up with Anna Nicole's millions (won from her marriage to J. Howard Marshall). Today might not be all that exciting to many of us, but it's a pretty significant day for the men in Anna Nicole's dramatically tragic life. It'll prolly turn out to be a pretty big day for little Dannilynn too. Stay tuned ... [Source]

ATTENTION: 24 SPOILER ALERT WARNING

So ... last night's ep of 24 was pretty good ... a wee bit slow for my taste, especially when you take into consideration the major developments that unfolded last night. The only real shocker came at the very end and for me it was a bit anticlimactic:

Screencaptures courtesy of Twenty Four Online

Right off the bat I was really surprised at how President Palmer was behaving ... his crazy desire to launch a nuclear attack against the Middle East seemed so odd and out of character I didn't know what to think. I was hugely relieved that it al turned out to be a ruse to get more information out of the ambassador. While I sincerely doubt that a gamble that big would pay off so successfully and so quickly I gotta say I was impressed with the way things turned out. Now, we have to deal with the President's failing health ... his should be a plot point that will continue to play itself out, especially since Prez Palmer wants VP Noah Daniels to resign his office before he hands over command again. I wasn’t too impressed with the way the whole Fayed storyline was wrapped up ... his escape was minorly interesting and is capture had no OOMPH. The wrestling match between Jack and Fayed was not that exciting ... tho the hanging was a nice touch. Perhaps an homage to Saddam Hussein? The big shocker came at the end ... Audrey Raines is alive! But, I called that plot development a couple of weeks ago. I was *sure* she'd turn up alive again ... there was no way the Chinese government was going to let Jack get away from them that easy:

So now that the Chinese have Audrey to bargain with they can try and recapture Jack Bauer to finish out his sentence in their prison. Will Jack go down without a fight? I doubt it. Will he save the day and bring Audrey home safe? Probably. Will Kim Raver (the actress who plays Audrey) ever leave 24 again for another shot at TV stardom on an different TV show? Mos def not! Joe Francis, the genius behind the Girls Gone Wild videos, has been arrested in Panama City as he was allegedly on his way to turn himself in to start serving a court-ordered jail term ... despite the fact that he failed to turn himself in on time last week. In any regard, he was recognized by the cops at the Panama City airport and was taken into custody:

Girls Gone Wild creator Joe Francis was arrested Tuesday in Florida, PEOPLE has confirmed. The U.S. Marshal's Office in Panama City, Fla., tells PEOPLE that Francis, 34, was arrested at 6:30 a.m. at the Panama City airport on a warrant seeking his arrest for criminal contempt of court. He is currently being held at the Bay County jail, a spokesman for the U.S. Marshal's Office says. Although Francis told FOX News's Geraldo Rivera on Monday that he would surrender to authorities, the arrest was carried out by airport police who recognized him before he could present himself to the Marshal's Office. A judge ordered Francis's arrest last week after Francis reportedly changed the terms of a settlement deal stemming from a 2003 lawsuit in which seven women accused him of victimizing them by filming them in sexual situations while they were on spring break in Panama City. Francis was ordered by U.S. District Judge Richard Smoak to surrender to authorities in Panama City by noon Thursday to begin serving jail time for contempt of court, the city's News Herald reported. But sources told PEOPLE that Francis missed the deadline. What a joke. I'm glad they busted his ass ... it's just gross the way the "rich and powerful" get away with whatever they want to, whenever they want to. They can put Joe Francis and Jason Wahler in the same cell ... maybe then the douchebags can finally learn their lessons. [Source]

Beyonce has made her way to the Land of the Rising Sun to do a little promo work for the re-release of her old album B'Day. Here are pictures of B as she arrives at the airport in Tokyo:

Instead of re-releasing the same album all over again it'd be infinitely cooler if she actually released new music instead. Just a suggestion. In her defense, Beyonce does look pretty good. [Source]

Beyonce's Dreamgirls cast mate Jennifer Hudson was snapped as she arrived at LAX airport yesterday afternoon bound for destination unknown ... and by the looks of it, J. Hud was in *no mood* for photos:

It also looks like she was in *no mood* for a shower that morning either. It's all good, girl ... you fly as frumpy as you like. I ain't mad atcha. [Source]

Xtina Aguilera spent her Easter weekend chillin' with her hubby and her little brother at a New York Yankees baseball game ... here are some cute pics from their day at the ballpark:

Xtina's little bro must be a big New York fan because he's also wearing a NY Rangers jacket in the pic. I bet Xtina is a great big sister ... she is always taking her little brother out for fun things like this. It's nice of her to take timeout of her bizzy Dirrty tour schedule to fit in some bonding time with her family. [Source]

In one last bit of left-over Easter news, here are some great pics of Snoop Dogg posing with the Easter Bunny at the First Annual Boss Lady Entertainment Easter Celebration which was orchestrated by Snoop Dogg's wife Shante' Broadus:

I love Snoop. The UK may not be feelin' the love but I am. Snoop Dogg may not be a perfect man but his charity work for inner-city youth is very commendable. Snoop may be the big dogg in that family but Shante' is the boss lady. [Source]

The hot new old couple on the block this week appear to be settling in nicely with their domesticity. Here are pictures of Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz making a food run for snacks and provisions:

Dang, Ashlee looks a mess. It looks like she fell right out of bed and onto the street ... she couldn't even be bothered enough to put on actual clothes. Could they have been that hungry? I wonder what ASHL33N were doing all night long that could've made them so hungry the next morning. [Source]

Speaking of lookin' a mess ... what the hell happened to Breckin Meyer? Has the poor lad come upon hard times?

I'm sure it's very difficult to look good standing next to Ryan Phillippe (tho, he's looking a bit bloated in this pic) but that is really no excuse for Brecks. He looks like he's about 50 years old. Someone get the man a job fast ... he looks like he needs a reason to wake up in the morning. [Source]

Naomi Campbell was spotted doing a little shopping in Beverly Hills with the just freed designer Marc Jacobs earlier this week:

She isn't nearly as fun when she's not doing court-ordered manual labor ... not even with that fugly little hair clip she's got going on here. [Source, thanks Cody]

Heroes returns with all new episodes in just a few short weeks but Hayden Pannettiere is already hard at work on her next project. Here are pic of Hayden on the set of her new film Fireflies in the Garden which is currently filming deep in the heart of Texas:

You know, for a girl who hates being mistaken for Lindsay Lohan she has really adopted Lindsay's signature peace sign hand gesture with no problems ... that's not too smart. [Source]

BUT don't you dare think that Hayden isn't smart ... because she is very smart ... in fact, she is 2SMRT 4 U:

Hayden P. has signed on to be the spokesperson for the 2SMRT 4U campaign which is sponsored by the US Postal Inspection Service and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children aimed at helping girls stay safe on the Internet. Apparently, Hayden wears this ring to remind herself to stay safe when she's online ... except I've never seen her wear this ring before -- ever. But that's beside the point ... click HERE to learn how YOU can be safe on the Internet ... and you might get a ring of your very own. [Source]

And finally ... have you ever wished that you could rub either David or Victoria Beckham against your butt? Well those dreams can become a reality:

Yeah, I don't know where I'm going with this ... of all the butt-related activities one could enjoy with the Beckhams I doubt that butt-cleaning ranks high on the list ... but hey diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks. [Source]

Les News:
I spent the afternoon yesterday hanging out in SoHo (where I got to meet Pink reader Kyle at D&G) while David was at his office all day long. We met up for dinner and ate our faces off at the amazing Buddakan in the Meat Packing District. After dinner, we had a leisurely walk home and then settled in for a whole lotta doing nothin'. Life is good here. I'm not sure what is going on tonight but David has things planned for tonight and Wednesday ... and Thursday we're going to see a Broadway show. There ain't much else going on right now ... the weekend seems to have zapped out all the energy.

So .. I guess that is all ... I am out.
