Spy Games

Well ... I stand corrected. Previously I wondered aloud why Britney Spears keeps going back to the Millennium Dance Studio in North Hollywood, CA. It seems like she goes there daily and there was never any hint that she was actually doing anything there ... except I was wrong. It would seem that Brit Brit is working hard taking dance classes and is finally taking her comeback seriously ... how else can you explain this cute little dance outfit -- which also shows off her bangin' booty:

It looks like Britney Spears is finally back to her old self. The 25-year-old is getting her life back on track following a spell in rehab, and is returning to her stock-in-trade - singing and dancing. Britney, who was aged just 14 when she shot to fame dressed up as a raunchy schoolgirl to belt out Hit Me Baby One More Time, went back to her roots by wearing ... well, not a lot, to work. She arrived at north Hollywood's Millennium dance Studio yesterday in an outfit that would give burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese a run for her money. Dressed in fish nets, a tiny pair of hotpants and the trademark dark glasses, Brits looked in great shape. I couldn't agree more ... she looks totaly fab! Tho, let's just not pay attention to that wretched lookin' fur coat that she's carrying around with her ... which looks like it was made out of the remains of Mischa Barton's dog Ziggy. Let's focus, instead, on the fact that Britney appears to be working hard on her comeback ... and that she's lookin' amazing in the process. [Source]

Spider-Man 3 has finally been unleashed upon the world ... well, at least it has been unleashed in the far East. We still have a few more weeks to wait for the movie to debut here but last night Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, James Franco and others were on hand in Tokyo, Japan for the world premiere of the third (perhaps last?) installment of the Spider-Man franchise:

The third and possibly final installment of the widely popular "Spider-Man" films made its world debut in Tokyo Monday in a rare move for Hollywood as it sees more opportunities overseas. Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst and other stars of the movie attended the gala red-carpet premiere of "Spider-Man 3," the latest chapter in the adventures of the web-spinning comic hero. They lined up on stage before hundreds of screaming fans in the upmarket Roppongi Hills area as a stuntman dressed as Spider-Man descended on a rope from above ... The potential summer blockbuster opens in Japan and other major Asian markets on May 1, three days before the United States. It will also come out on May 1 in some European countries including France and Germany ... It marks the first time that Sony Pictures, despite its Japanese parent company, has chosen to debut such a high-profile film in Japan, the world's second-largest box office ... Analysts said Sony's decision to launch the new "Spider-Man" in Japan was primarily symbolic as it will be out within days elsewhere in the world and can be expected to be a hit in the United States. Ack! I so envy those lucky Japanese ... they will be among the first people in the world to see this much anticipated movie. I have been anxiously awaiting this film's release for MONTHS and the time is almost finally here. Woot! [Source]

Madonna, along with her newly adopted son David Banda, have arrived in Malawi (David's homeland) amid much speculation that Madge is interested in picking out a new child to adopt. Officially Madonna has said that she is only in Malawi to do charity work but ... well, you never know. The last time Madonna was in Malawi for charity work she also decided to adopt little David so ... anyways, here are the first pictures of Madonna and son's arrival today:

Madonna has denied she is planning to adopt another child from Malawi, at the beginning of a charity work related trip to the African country. She is expected to visit an orphanage just outside the capital Lilongwe as well as travel to the Home of Hope orphanage, where Banda lived before Madonna applied to adopt him. But her spokeswoman denied media reports that she has a young Malawi girl in mind for another adoption. The singer arrived in the African country today clutching the toddler she is in the process of adopting. She held on to the child as she descended the steps of a private jet at Lilongwe airport. Police kept journalists at bay while authorities positioned a large white lorry in front of the steps to hinder photographers. Out of view, Madonna placed 18-month-old David Banda in a child seat in a 4x4 before being driven off at top speed ... There has been widespread speculation she will use the visit - during which it is thought David will meet his real father again - to adopt a girl. But Guy Ritchie is conspicuous in his absence from Madonna's latest trip to Malawi, opting instead to remain in London. Perhaps, an indicator that he is losing interest in adopting another child ... Madonna's New York-based publicist Liz Rosenberg said she was in Africa to continue her work with her Raising Malawi organisation. She said: "She is overseeing the building of a children's health care centre. She is absolutely not adopting another baby." But of course she is going to officially deny that she is adopting another child -- regardless of whether it's true or not. If Madonna were going to adopt another child, do you really think she'd alert the world's press first? But it makes sense that Madonna wouldn't begin the adoption proceedings for a new baby when the adoption of her current child isn't even complete yet. It seems fairly clear that she has returned to Malawi to do some work for her amazing charity Raising Malawi. I'm sure Madonna is also anxious to let David Banda's biological father spend some time with his son. I'm hope it's a successful trip all around. I also hope that Madonna continues to wear her favorite brightly-colored Ed Hardy hats and track suits ... it'll be much easier to make her out in long-range photographs. [Source]

Here are some pictures from the Saturday Night Live afterparty that took place in the wee hours Sunday morning after this week's show wrapped. Shia Leboeuf was the host and Avril Lavigne was the musical guest ... here are pictures of the stars as they made their way into the afterparty:

I must admit, I was very annoyed when David made me watch SNL this week because I didn't think that Shia was going to make a good host ... and I was completely wrong. He actually did a great job in all of his skits ... and I found him completely charming and entertaining. Huh. Who knew? Could I be becoming a Shia LaBeouf fan? Avril's performances were just OK ... I love her new song Girlfriend ... but it loses some of its fun when performed live. In any regard, I really liked this week's ep of SNL -- which isn't something I can always say. [Source]

Eva Longoria was the star at her bridal shower over the weekend ... some of her Desperate Housewives co-stars attended the little party that was held in her honor ... here are a few pics from the event:

Bride-to-be Eva Longoria celebrated her wedding shower alongside her Desperate Housewives co-stars, with Teri Hatcher making a surprise appearance in a toilet paper frock to honour the occasion. Embracing the spirit of the day, Hatcher joined some other unmarried guests in a competition to create the most fabulous loo roll wedding gown. It appears that Longoria and Hatcher, 42, have buried the hatchet - the stars were rumoured to be feuding after Hatcher began dating Longoria's ex-boyfriend, director Stephen Kay in November. The star-studded party was held at Felicity Huffman's pad in the Hollywood Hills, with the guest list also featuring Longoria's other onscreen pals Nicollette Sheridan and new mum Marcia Cross. The 31-year-old former beauty queen is set to marry French-born basketball star Tony Parker, 24, in Paris on July 7. Awww ... well isn't that so sweet. All the ladies came together for Eva's party. At a shower like this, where all the attention is heaped upon one person, you'd think that all of these big egos would have a hard time dealing with one another. Sadly, there were no cat-fights ... well, that'd we've heard of anyways. [Source]

Kylie Minogue was the picture of a Spring princess this weekend as she emerged from her London flat wearing a very adorable springy dress:

Ever the fashionista, Miss Kyles is rockin' the yellow and the green -- the two hot colors of the season. She looks great ... tho, it wouldn't hurt her to get a little color on that pale skin. [Source]

Here are a few absolutely adorable pictures of Brad Pitt taking his little Princess Zahara out for some ice cream at Baskin-Robbins (31 Flavors) in Los Feliz, CA yesterday afternoon:

OMG ... that little girl looks so cute! I love her little pig tails. Angelina Jolie, as you can see, waited in the car while Brad and Z retrieved the ice cream. LOL. It must be fun to have Brad Pitt as a personal assistant. [Source]

Woot! Hugh Jackman took a little trip to the beach over the weekend in Sydney, Australia with his wife and kids ... but who really cares about them when Hugh's furry pecs are so distracting?

He is one hot piece of man. I wholeheartedly approve! Yes, please!! [Source]

Here are some of the first pictures of newly single Kate Middleton out and about after the world found out that she and Prince William are no longer dating. By pretty much all accounts, it was Wills who decided to end things with Kate (there's even a story going around that he dumped her via cell phone) which can't make this very public break-up any easier for her to deal with:

PRINCE William confirmed to stricken Kate Middleton that their romance was over in a dramatic mobile phone call. Kate, 25, was hoping for a reconciliation even though she and Wills, 24, agreed at an Easter meeting their four-year affair was on the rocks. A colleague who saw her take the call in a car park at her work in London, said: "It was clear it was William - and definitely a tiff." Heartbroken Kate Middleton paced nervously around a car park as she learned her four-year romance with Prince William really was over. The couple had decided they had no future together at a dramatic face to face meeting over the Easter holiday. But Kate, 25, still hoped for a reconciliation. She discovered there was no going back when she spoke to Wills, 24, on Wednesday. A workmate saw Kate take William's call on her mobile phone after arriving for work looking "subdued, but OK". The colleague disclosed: "Around the middle of the day, she was pacing the car park outside the office on her mobile. "A few people noticed because it's a pretty unusual thing to do. She'd deliberately gone outside to take the call because she didn't want to be overheard. Kate was walking up and down and looking upset as if she was having an argument. But she didn't cry. Word went round that it was William and they were having problems. Now it's clear what it was all about. When she came back to the office she didn't say a thing and disappeared for the rest of the day. She hasn't been back to work since. When someone asked where she was, they were told she was sick. Yet she hasn't been marked sick in the book. We didn't think anything about it at the time. But looking back, the call was definitely a girlfriend-boyfriend tiff." Yesterday, Kate - who will turn down the chance of making £5million by telling all about her affair - was nursing her broken heart at her parents' house near Newbury, Berks. She went out alone for a quiet drive in her silver Audi then joined mum Carole, 50, dad Michael and 22-year-old sister Pippa for lunch ... William - who partied on Friday night as the break-up became public - spent the weekend alone at Highgrove. He is expected to rejoin his Army tank commander training course in Bovington, Dorset, today ... William told Kate of his frustration that he could not fully concentrate on his new life as a young officer. Nor did he feel free to enjoy himself. He knows he faces increasing commitments as he takes on a more senior role in the Royal Family. He now believes his two years in the Army could be his last chance for fun. Yes, it's plainly obvious that Wills is definitely interested in having fun ... with other people ... [Source]

... of the female persuasion. We know about the Brazilian babe who he partied with and then posed for a picture with (while he took a hold of her right breast) but there was apparently another chick that Prince William partied with ... some random blonde that he reportedly took back to the Officer's mess for a drink:

Prince William was dallying with at least two society beauties as Kate Middleton battled to saved their four-year romance. He has been involved in a serious 'flirtation' with a well-connected young woman for four months - although he is said to be keener on her than she is on him, we can reveal. At the same time the future King has been seen kissing and cuddling with an attractive blonde in a London nightclub. But he has managed to keep both women's identity secret. Neither is among the string of names to be publicly linked with the prince in recent months ... In recent weeks William's name has been linked with a string of young women - including students Lisa Agar and Ana Ferreira and PR girl Tess Shepherd as well as society beauty Isabella Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe. "He is only 24 and simply wasn't ready to settle down," said a source. "He has always had a roving eye, far more so than Harry, who is meant to be the family playboy. That's something Kate has always known and accepted - it was part of the deal, if you like. I suppose in that respect, she would have made a perfect Princess of Wales. What has changed in recent months, however, is the way in which the public was starting to view Kate as a future princess. William's visit to that nightclub in Bournemouth the other week (when he met 19-yearold, blonde Miss Agar and ended up taking her back to the officers' mess for a drink) was all rather harmless but he knew it made him look a cad" ... While the Queen and Prince Charles, both of whom are said to like Kate immensely, are said to be sad but supportive of William's decision, Prince Harry is known to have had sympathy with those of William's friends who dubbed Kate "the limpet". "Harry has always felt Kate enjoyed her fame by association a little too much, unlike his own girlfriend, Chelsy," said a source. "When she met William, Kate had few friends of her own. Since then, she has become incredibly self-aware and has even managed to bag herself a cut-price Audi thanks to her royal links - at the same time as professing that she wants to be treated as an ordinary working girl" ... [But] a source insisted the split was amicable - "It is just a case of two young people drifting apart." Another said: "They are still incredibly fond of each other. It was just a case of right girl, wrong time." Who knows, maybe the right time will come again some day? I guess now we have to wait and see who Prince William selects to be his next Princess-in-waiting. [Source]

Reichen Lehmkuhl appears to be really smitten with his new man, physical trainer/fitness model/gymnast Ryan Barry. Here is a cute picture of Reichen bestowing a public smooch upon his new man on the red carpet at the GLAAD Media Awards in LA over the weekend:

I don't recall that Reichen and Lance Bass were very affectionate in public when they dated. Who knows if this new relationship with Ryan is the "real thing" but they appear to be having a fun time while they can. [Source]

Mischa Barton knows how to keep it real, y'all:

I never pegged Fergie Ferg for the church-going type but here are pictures of her and boyfriend Josh Duhamel emerging from church services yesterday morning:

It's funny to picture the chanteuse of the sexually risque songs My Humps, London Bridge and Fergalicious engaging in any sort of religious ceremony ... you know, without bursting into flames. [Source]

Pink reader Kristin sends in these pictures of Ian Ziering and his Dancing with the Stars partner Cheryl Burke throwing out the first pitch at the Oakland A's vs. NY Yankees game this past Saturday:

Kristin reveals that Ian's pitch made it all the way to the home plate -- not too shabby for an oldster. Cheryl's pitch didn't make it half way. [thanks Kristin]

Actually, I'm only kidding about Ian's age ... he looks amazing no matter how old he is. It has been erroneously reported that Playgirl magazine made him an offer to pose nekkid in their magazine and I sincerely hope that the magazine reconsider and makes the offer ... afterall, he's already gotten nekkid for the movies. Here are screen caps from Ian Ziering's movie I never heard of called Subliminal Seduction:

I was unaware that Ian did anything after Beverly Hills, 90210 went off the air ... it looks like he did keep himself bizzy. I think Ian would make a great nude model ... she should deff show us what he's made of. [Source]

Les News:
So ... my flight back to LA was cancelled due to inclement weather so it looks like I'll be hanging here in NYC for a couple more days. My new flight leaves on Tuesday afternoon. So I got 2 bonus days and nights to spend her with David. Last night we went out to the movies and altho we planned on seeing The Reaping we ended up seeing Disturbia:

I had zero interest in seeing Disturbia but because of the rain, well, we got stuck with seeing Disturbia (the name alone turned me off immediately). I was sure I was going to hate it but it turns out that I quite liked it a lot. I had seen Rear Window (the movie that this one was based on) in film class ages ago and loved it. I thought this movie would be cheap in comparison ... it's actually a very well done updated version of the story. I was put off by all he product placement in the film (Coca Cola, Boost Mobile, iTunes, Apple computers XBOX, PSP -- all in the first 15 mins.) but the movie really won me over. I really think I'm starting to like Shia LaBeouf. It's not so much that I didn't like him before ... I just never thought about him much. It's a fun movie ... one that I didn't plan on liking but did nonetheless.

It is so crappy here today ... I'm not sure if it's worth going out in the rain ... but I do have some extra time in NYC ... I'm sure I'll be able to think of something to entertain myself.

Happy Monday, y'all ... I'm out.
