Divine Intervention

Birthin' babies be damned ... when Katie Holmes needs new shoes, she's gonna get her ass out and buy some new shoes ... even if she is supposedly supposed to be on the brink of squeezing out a babychild:

I completely understand, Katie ... when I want something I have to go out and get it right away ... I never let any obstacles stand in my way ... and besides, we all know that you're really not pregs anyways. [Source]

Incidentally ... I have to give Katie snaps for always going out in public wearing the hottest designer maternity wear available ...

... not everyone can make a mumu work ... good on ya, Kates!

Brangelina are still awaiting the birth of their new baby joy ... here are pictures of the family hanging out at their family home ... the airport:

Seriously ... they are just too cute for words ... [Source]

... but the cutest thing ever is Brad Pitt when he's playing with either Zahara or Maddox ...

Matching mohawks?! I'm dying!! You just know that Brad is gonna be the best dad ever. [Source]

Here are a couple pictures of Lindsay Lohan as she makes her way to NBC studios to rehearse for her stint as host on SNL tonight:

I'm glad she'll be returning to SNL with her trademark red hair ... y'all better set your TiVos and DVRs ... you don't want to miss L. Lo tonight. [Source]

Mariah Carey was lookin' fine at BET this week ... check out these pictures of Mimi taping 106 and Park ...

... she looks great! I really like how natural she looks in the pictures of her leaving the studios. Yay! She left the Louis Vuitton bed spread at home! [Source, Source]

Jessica Simpson is back home in LA after spending some time in Australia hanging out with her sister Ashlee who hosted the MTV AVMAs down under ... does it look like she's wearing her wedding band on her necklace?

Don't be distracted by her heaving cleavage ... I think her diamond wedding band is hanging from her neck chain. Is she still holding on to her failed marriage to Nick Lachey? Now that she's back, is she gonna go out and kick CaCee Cobb's ass for philandering with her ex-hubby? [Source]

Check out this adorable picture of Lost's Jorge Garcia as he lays in the Hawaiian tall grass with his pooch Nunu:

Isn't that the cutest thing ever?! [Source]

Kristin Cavallari has been working like crazy lately ... so it's about time that she took some time for herself and found some time to relax:

One thing, tho, is it really necessary for her bikini to match the lounge chairs? [Source]

And finally, it's time for the Hot Dude of the Week. Normally the Hot Dude makes his appearance on Sundays but since tomorrow is Easter ... well ... let's just enjoy the hotness today ... say hello to Paul:

Ahhh ... it's nice to be able to admire the male form. It's one of my favorite things to do ... enjoy! [Source]

No newslinks for today, go out and enjoy the sunshine, y'all!

Yesterday David and I grabbed a train from NYC to Connecticut to spend Passover with his family. Last night I participated in my first Jewish Seder. I was expecting a reverent ceremony, instead I was treated to a boisterous and totally irreverent celebration. It was very fun ... there was a lot of Hebrew flying around but I managed to follow along as best I could. It was very fun and very enlightening. His family is so amazing ... they've all been so welcoming. I felt privileged to be allowed to take part in the celebration ... I even wore a yarmulke, y'all! How hot is that?!

Sooo ... after all the Jewishness was finished ... and after all the eating was finished ... David and I were interested in seeing a movie but our options were very limited ... we decided to go see Phat Girlz because Mo'Nique is generally a very funny comedian ... unfortch, that wasn't the case in Phat Girlz:

Blah ... where to begin? This movie was just horrid ... the plot sucked, the acting sucked and the jokes were really, really lame. I wanted to like this movie so much ... I kept looking for some redeeming quality to it ... there was none to be found. I wanted the movie to be funny but it only comes across as extremely sad ... David and I were among only 5 people in the entire theater! Seriously, if you're at all interested in seeing this movie I'd wait until it comes out on DVD and rent it ... and even then I think you'd be wasting your money.

It is absolutely beautiful here in Connecticut ... the birds are chirping the sun is shining ... I need to get outside ... I hope y'all are having a great weekend! I am out.
