Can You Help?

I'm not sure if you're aware but Lindsay Lohan has fallen upon desperate times these days. Despite the fact that she is the daughter of the White Oprah (who, apparently, isn't as well off as the real Oprah), Linds has been reduced to wearing tattered pieces of fabric for clothing ... the poor dear can't even afford a bra:

If you would like to help, I'm starting a collection so that we can try and get L. Lo back on her feet. Can you find it in your heart to give so that we can try and help her cover up her ampleness? I know you can :) [Source]

Descent Of A Woman

Booo! Here are more pictures of Britney Spears trying to stay out of the public eye by thinking she can escape view by hiding behind a blanket. This is a very nasty habit and it should stop immediately:

First thing, you have to make sure that the blanket you are trying to hide behind is bigger than you are and second thing, try and make sure the blanket doesn't look better than the sheet that you're already wearing. Anyways, these photos are from Britney's recent trip to the Jim Henson Studios here in LA. I'll leave it to y'all to insert your own Miss Piggy jokes here. I shant stoop to that level. [Source]

Here is a much cuter picture of Britney being all playful with her first born son Sean Preston:

She is so childlike ... it's kinda cute. I still have a hard time wrapping my head around the notion that she is capable of raising children but I suppose she's been doing a pretty good job of raising little Sean and big Kevin. Well ... I suppose that last bit is up for debate but, for the most part, Sean Preston is about to successfully complete one year of successful living. Someone deserves a cookie here. [Source]

Boy George, the fine up-standing citizen that he is, has taken to the streets of NYC today to begin paying back his debt to society. Today is the first of 5 days that Georgie will spend cleaning up trash from the mean NY city streets:

With a city-issued broom in his hand, Boy George started his court-ordered community service early Monday, sweeping leaves and trash off the sidewalks of New York. It took less than an hour for the former Culture Club frontman to get into a spat with the media. "You think you're better than me?" he yelled. "Go home. Let me do my community service." Boy George took to the streets of Manhattan as a Department of Sanitation worker wearing an orange vest, dark capri pants, shoes without socks, and without the wild makeup and androgynous style that made him so recognizable as the '80s icon who sang "Karma Chameleon" and "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me?" "This is supposed to be making me humble. Let me do this," he said. "I just want to do my job." The singer, born George O'Dowd, was ordered to spend five days working for the Department of Sanitation after pleading guilty in March to falsely reporting a burglary at his lower Manhattan apartment. The officers who responded found cocaine instead. At 7 a.m. Monday, a sport utility vehicle pulled up at a Lower East Side sanitation depot. The agency planned to issue the singer a shovel, broom, plastic bags and gloves for the job of picking up trash on the city's streets. Are you kidding me? He gets caught with cocaine and all he has to do is pick up trash for 5 days? I think this is the perfect way to handle celebs who get convicted of committing no-nos. The mighty have a long way to fall. I'm just appalled that he is allowed to wear those hideous manpris ... or maybe that's part of his punishment? If so, it's a ghastly thing to do to someone ... the poor guy. [Source]

Pink reader Julia was lucky enough to spend time with the members of the Real Madrid soccer team when they were in Salt Lake City, UT earlier this week and she sends in these pictures of my favorite Real Madrid player:

Even tho Salt Lake City isn't very close to LA, I kinda dig that Becks is so close in proximity ... well, closer proximity than usual. He's so dreamy! [thanks Julia]

Last night members of the original cast of Jesus Christ Superstar joined forces with Jack Black (as King Herod) to perform a one-night only benefit concert of JCS at the Ricardo Montalban Theater here in LA. Here are a few photos from last night:

I had no idea that Yeardley Smith (the voice of Lisa Simpson on The Simpsons) and Janet Jackson were big fans of the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical. Joining Jack Black and original cast members Ted Neeley (who is almost as old as Jesus Himself), Yvonne Elliman and Barry Dennen, who played, respectively, Jesus, Mary Magdalene and Pontius Pilate in the film was Ben Vareen as Judas Iscariot. I'm a huge fan of this show but found out about the benefit too late to get tickets. I bet it was a fun performance. [Source]

The newly emerged supercouple Lance Bass and Reichen Lehmkuhl made an appearance at the Adopt-a-School Initiative in Los Angeles on Saturday evening ... here is a picture of the pair as they left the event:

I love it! The boys are already making official appearances together at charity events. I think they are my fave new Hollywood "It" couple ... I just hope they last longer than 3 months. [Source]

Jessica Simpson must have spent a long night partying on Saturday night because Pink reader Chris snapped this photo of Jessica with a couple of friends at the Village Coffee Shop early Sunday morning:

And here is a photo of Jessica with her new mystery guy (also pictured with Jessica above) holding hands as they left club Hyde late Saturday night/early Sunday morning:

Cut offs ... really? OY! I wonder who this new guy is? Is he a new romantic interest or maybe she replaced Ken Paves with a new gay BFF? Hmm ... I guess we'll have to wait and see. [thanks Chris, Source]

Speaking of Ken Paves, here is a picture of Eva Longria, with her little poodle, leaving his salon in West Hollywood after just having her hair did:

I'm not sure if the poodle also got its hair did but its 'do looks much nicer than Eva does ... I'm just sayin'. [Source]

Ryan Phillippe and Channing Tatum are currently shooting a new movie together, here are a few photos from the set:

So lemme get this straight ... both Ryan and Channing are going to be in this army movie ... where there may be shower scenes like in Jarhead? Um ... yes, I think I'm interested in seeing this movie when it comes out. [Source]

Because I'm such a connoisseur of fine cinematic artistry, I am also interested in seeing the new Jason Statham movie Crank. Here are a few more still pictures from the movie:

Click above to see the uncensored NSFW image

You may remember that I posted this last picture quite some time ago when it first hit the Interweb but I figured it'd be worth seeing again with these new photos. You can plainly see that Jason is totally nekkid underneath that hospital gown. I ... uh ... yeah, fine cinematic artistry indeedie. [Source]

We all know that Pete Wentz will be featured in Gap ads for the fall season, here are a few more celebs who will also be showing up in the campaign:

I'm on board with Chris Evans (oh, yes I am), Common and Natasha Bedingfield but I'm not feeling the Piven. I do love that Mia Farrow is also appearing in the Gap ads ... I can't really see her wearing Gap clothing but hey, whatever pays the bills. [Source]

Kate Moss is showing her boobies again in a photospread in the new issue of Vogue magazine ...

... You know ... cuz it's been about 10 minutes since we last enjoyed her exposed boobs. Click HERE to see the uncensored boob image. [Source]

Xtina Aguilera is doing her blonde bombshell thing (again) in the pages of the new issue of Allure magazine ...

... You know ... cuz it's been about 10 seconds since we last enjoyed her Marilyn Monroe thing. To tell the truth, I really like these photos -- especially the black and white one. I think they're very well done. [Source]

And finally, Gallery of the Absurd has revamped the Japanese ad for the new Hello Kitty-esque Paris Hilton doll that has been reported on recently:

Yep, I much prefer this ad. I wonder if her little friend Crabby is sold separately? You know, I bet it's not and that's why she just gives it away. [Source]

Les News:
Yesterday afternoon, Davey and I drove up to Malibu to sun our goodies on the beach. It took us a little longer to get there than is normal (I'll just say that it wasn't my fault we drove 15 miles past our exit) but we arrived in plenty of time to enjoy the day at the beach. On our way home we stopped by the Coffee Bean in Malibu and kinda ran into Jack Osbourne and Kimberly Stewart (Yikes!) ... I didn't notice them until we were inside the coffee shop while they were outside. I also failed to notice that Kimberly was barefoot -- you can click HERE to see the pictures of of Kim and Jack. They left shortly after we arrived and I breathed a bit of a sigh of relief, turned around and almost ran into AJ McLean from the Backstreet Boys. The Malibu Coffee Bean is the vertiable center of the celebrity Z-List universe :)

Afterwards, we headed out to BJ's for some pizza before going to the movies ... I finally got the chance to see the much raved about movie The Descent:

Believe the hype, y'all ... this movie scared the shizz out of me. Forget that there are monsters hunting the women in this film, all the scenes of them spelunking were creepy all by themselves. There is a scene where the main chick gets stuck in a super tight cave tunnel ... and it freaked me right out. I could feel my heart thumping in my chest. This movie has all the gory fun that you'd expect from a horror film but at least there are some intelligent parts to the movie as well ... such as character development. The Brits (and the Japanese) really know how to do horror movies right. 28 Days Later and The Audition are prime examples of really smart, really effing scary horror films. I loved everything about this movie (well, maybe not the cheap-o cgi bats) including the fact that the cast was made up of women. The characters were really fun to root for ...

If you're into the horror thing, you should deff see this movie in the theaters ... and be prepared, the stuff to make you scream gets going pretty early on in the film.

Late last night, I got to watch the season finale of The Simple Life ... and I was pretty disappointed. Like, that's all we get? Couldn't Paris and Nicole have mud wrestled or something? The whole ep was kind of a waste ... the old couple were just thrown in because I guess they needed naive people to stand by and act surprised by all the drama. If the ending is supposed to be a lead in to season 5 then I think they should've given us a bit more.

Whatevs, Team Nicole!

Another Monday ... another week ... and we're pretty much at the middle of August already ... OY! That is all ... I'm out.
