workin' with prince
so andy from work asked me if i would make him a copy of prince's crystal ball (which is a 3 disc set of unreleased songs from the late 80's) and i said i would.
earlier this week i went home to get my suitcase (for the upcoming LA trip ... we leave in 3 days!) and i also brought home all of my prince unreleased music bootlegs. after i ripped the crystal ball in decided to rip all of my unreleased music bootlegs. the most important set i have is called the work: demos and outtakes
this set is made up of five volumes and each volume is made up of 4 discs (20 discs total) ... each disc has, on average, 18 songs (over 25+ hours of music! very very cool stuff like demo versions of nothing compares 2 U, martika's kitchen, U, manic monday all sung by prince himself). the link above will give you a full tracklisting of the entire set (and believe me, it's extensive!) ... but even after i've ripped ALL OF THESE DISCS i still have the daunting task of ripping all of his studio albums as well ... and you know he has released TONS of cds ... wee!
so yeah ... i've been ripping all day long! all this prince music is really getting me pumped for the upcoming concert that sherri and i are going to see on june 21st here in detroit.
