I Got Soul But I'm Not A Soldier
She's a wild woman, you see ... a wild pregnant woman ... Thank the stars above that she's been so good about wearing shoes. She's eating more healthy ... she's coming along very nicely. Have that baby (those babies?) already, Brit!
Joel Madden has updated his blog again (perhaps he's finding blogging addictive) on his official site:
You can tell that Joel is such a down-to-earth guy. He is so thankful for everything that he has. I've read some negative comments where people are trying to tear him (and his band) down by saying he isn't "punk rock" anymore. I'm of the mind that if you work hard for your dreams -- and those dreams pay off -- then you absolutely deserve to enjoy the fruits of your labor. He seems so happy to have the love of a good woman and the love of good friends in his life ... everything else is all gravy. Your fans know that you care about them:
... and they care right back.
Sorry for the tangent ... I just wanted to say something supportive to retaliate against some of the negative comments I've read from some people regarding Joel's newfound passion for blogging. It's all about having fun, y'all. Haters need not apply.
OKAY ... let's move on ... who knew that Pamela Anderson and Lindsay Lohan were such close friends?
I wonder how long it will take before rumors that they are engaged start to circulate? [via IDon'tLikeYouInThatWay.com]
Hey Linds, I wouldn't count on Pammy asking for your hand in marriage anytime soon ...
... not after she gets a really good look at your teeth. Yikes! [via ONTD!]
Kelly Clarkson is on the cover of Jane magazine:
What's with all the moody pictures lately? It's like My Space has taken over the world.
Johnny Knoxville, all cleaned up, is this month's coverboy for GQ magazine:
It's amazing to think that this man rose to stardom by setting himself on fire and dumping human waste all over himself. God bless America. Anyways, click HERE to read his interview with GQ.
Johnny's new friend Jessica Simpson is looking ... a little strange:
The floor-length skirt is ... a bit much ... and what exactly is she doing with her tongue? It looks like she's thinking too hard ...
Jesse McCartney looks like he's having a lot of fun with his boys:
I wonder where they were off to ... and what they're off to do.
Here is a VERY disturbing picture of Miss Piggy:
Click above to see the uncensored version
I'm not sure if it's NSFW or not ... since she's a muppet ... EW. Yeah, she looks like a whole lotta pig for Kermit the Frog to handle ... once again, EW.
And finally, I have to post this picture of an industrious Pink fan without a TR3NT.com sticker:
I love the randomness of Patrick Dempsey in the picture. Holla!
The news:
- Madonna is organizing a Kabbalah blessing party for Britney Spears' baby.
- Are we surprised that Lance Armstrong did it again?
- Good news about Courtney Love ... her work with rehab is progressing nicely.
- Gus Van Sant swears his new movie, Last Days, is not about Kurt Cobain. I'm sure this is just like when he said that his movie, Elephant, wasn't about Columbine. (Reg. Req'd)
- James Marsters is coming to Smallville.
- Oliver Stone is a liar.
- I don't know whether to be happy or horrified about THIS.
- Anderson Cooper is a fan of "Megapussi". (Reg. Req'd)
- Hmm ... is Frankie Muniz just really desperate for publicity? (Reg. Req'd)
- Do you know Joseph Sayers? [thanks Monty]
We got to the Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort and found that the concert venue was outside ... we arrived just as Louis XIV took the stage. They were awesome. I didn't bring my camera because it was sprinkling rain a little bit and I was afraid that it was going to pour ... turns out that our seats were a bit too far back for me to take pictures anyways. The Killers were superb. They played a great set of songs including one new song that I've never heard before. Everyone there had a great time ... it was so fun.
On the way home from Mt. Pleasant, Erik and I stopped off to see March of the Penguins:
We figured we'd be the only people at the Sunday matinee showing ... we were wrong ...the line was out the door and into the parking lot. We managed to get in and get good seats anyways. OMG ... this was the cutest movie ever! I laughed the whole time ... there are some very sad parts but overall it was such a great movie. Do yourself a favor, go see this movie ... I promise you'll enjoy it.
OY! I'm a bit beat from all this weekend's event so I'm going to relax with Erik.
I'm out.
