Played Out
The show doesn't air on Spike until Wednesday night at 10pm but you can head over to the VGAs site and check out who the winners are. I love that Heroes Hayden Panettiere and Masi Oka are showing up pretty much everywhere these days. Who is Brandon Routh kidding with that vest ... and just what exactly are we supposed to infer from that rainbow-esque vest? The Burger King still scares me ... and Daniel Dae Kim just looks out of place. I'm not a huge video game nut (I'm usually pretty content with just my Nintendo DS or Ka-Gloom on my BlackBerry) but I might have to check out this show when it airs next week. [Source]
Courteney Cox-Arquette, her BFF Jennifer Aniston and a few other peeps (mostly Arquettes) came out for the FX premiere of Courteney's new show Dirt which begins airing in January. Here are a few pics from the red carpet:

Curiously enough, the usually paparazzi unfriendly Courteney Cox-Arquette plays a hard-nosed and extremely vicious tabloid magazine editor in this new show. When I heard that she signed up for this project, I was actually very surprised ... considering her disdain for the whole tabloid culture. Has she changed her opinion? Who knows ... all I do know is that I am very excited for this new show. I love Courteney Cox when she plays a raging bitch (think Gale Weathers in the Scream movies) so I'm very much looking forward to her take on the whole goss scene. From what I've seen of the show so far, I think I'm gonna like it. Props to Jen for coming out to support her friend Courteney ... I'm sure she wasn't really looking forward to all the questions about her break-up with Vince Vaughn so it's pretty cool that she came out anyways. [Source]
Pretty much everyone who wasn't at either the Spike VGAs or the Dirt premiere was in Miami last night (all weekend, in fact). Andy Roddick, thru his Andy Roddick Foundataion, threw a little poker party on Friday night at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL to raise money for his charity that seeks to give aid to at-risk children. Here are a few photos from the event:

It looks like Andy was big pimpin' in that hat. Serena Williams looks like she was having a blast ... not so much Venus tho. Nicky Hilton just looked a bit scary. For a $500 donation, peeps were able to play against the celebs or for $20 you could watch the action. I think this is an awesome way to raise money for such a good cause. Today, Andy will be joined by tennis great Andre Agassi and others for his 6th annual Charity Tennis Exhibition. Ain't Andy just the swellest guy? Plus, he looks a little bit like my David -- just not as cute. [Source]
Here are a few pictures of Brangelina and the kiddies as they braved the NYC cold this weekend to do a little shopping amongst the masses. Note the fabulously stylish St. Johns coat that Angelina Jolie is wearing ... hmmm ... I wonder if they made her wear that out in public?

No sight of Shiloh Nouvel (unless she was stashed away inside one of those plastic bags) anywhere but still, they are the cutest family. Unfortch, they have denied the rumors that they were planning a South African Xmas wedding: U.S. actors Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have denied a report they were planning to get married in South Africa. A representative for Pitt told Us Weekly the tabloid report was "all made up" and that the globetrotting couple was busy in New York promoting Jolie's new movie "The Good Shepherd" ... Pitt and Jolie have three children, but have announced no plans to formally tie the knot. Boo! I'd love to see these two actually get married ... for as many commitments they've made to one another (Brad even adopted her children as his own) they really sound like they have commitment issues. Maybe all of their failed marriages have taken their toll (I believe that they were both married twice previously). Altho ... if they were trying to keep their wedding a secret, they'd have to deny the rumors going around now so as to throw off suspicion. Hmm ... [Source]
Here are a few more pictures of Gwen Stefani and her little Kingston James around town here in NYC:

That baby is just so cute ... I can't stop posting pics of him. Gwen was the musical guest on Saturday Night Live last night (click HERE to watch her performance of Wind It Up in case you missed it like I did -- check it out, she actually sang live) which, I think, wraps up all of her commitments here in town. She's been pretty much everywhere pimping her new album ... I guess we'll have to wait and see how well she did when the Billboard Album Chart comes out next week. [Source]
Here are a few pictures of the lucky fans/shoppers/gawkers who managed to walk away from Tori Spelling's

I think James St. James secured the coolest item all weekend with that amazing embroidered pillow that reads If it ain't one thing, it's your mother. Altho, I hear there was a little incident where an industrious browser found a bong that was quickly snatched away by security and was explained away as an item that was left by the former tenant (uh huh, right). Beverly Hills, 90210 fans were dismayed, I'm sure, to learn that the only memorabilia available were signed cast photos and scripts. I was hoping someone would emerge from her Studio City manse with a "Donna Martin Graduates" sign. Boo! [Source]
Remember how I mentioned yesterday that press conferences were amazing because the photogs try to get celebs making funny faces as they talk or answer questions? Yeah ... here are some great pics of Dakota Fanning from her press conference for Charlotte's Web:
Yeah, you deff do NOT want to run into this in a dark alley someplace. [Source]
Here is a cute picture of Ricki Lake, the original Tracy Turnblad, posing with Nicole Blonsky, the new Tracy Turnblad, on the set of the new movie Hairspray: The Musical:
They are both so cute! I bet Ricki Lake had no idea that her role as Tracy would live on for so long. I am hearing really great things about the movie version of Hairspray: The Musical and I cannot wait for its release next summer. [Source]
Kirsten Dunst is looking absolutely amazing on the cover of the Aussie version of Harper's Bazaar magazine:
Even tho the photo is a bit fuzzy, Kirsten still looks utterly amazing (maybe she looks so good because of the fuzziness?). This has to be one of her best magazine covers that I've ever seen. [Source]
Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen are on the cover of the new issue of Portrait magazine and in the pages of Love 2 Shop magazine ...
... and I'm utterly bored by both. When are they going to give that raccoon look a rest? [Source]
It's time for the Hot Dude of the Week, y'all! As much as I love being here in NYC with David, I'm itching for that California sun and those California beaches ... so to help augment that yearning, let's feast our eyes on a speedo-clad Judson:
You may recall that Judson has been featured as the Hot Dude of the Week before but he is deff one of my fave All American Guys and I'll prolly feature him again in the future. I'm sure that y'all won't mind. Woot! [Source]
And finally, on a serious note ... Luke Coffee, the man who was injured in that hit and run accident that my friends and I witnessed last month, has written an article about how he's been doing since the accident. Here is the picture of Luke and his girlfriend Elizabeth, who was tragically killed in that accident, that accompanies the article (which you can read HERE):
I cannot tell you how happy I am to hear that Luke is doing so well since the accident. His article is full of hope and faith and is a very inspiring read. I will never forget what happened to Luke and Elizabeth on that horribly tragic night but I am relieved to know that Luke lives on with the memory of his love for Elizabeth in his heart. [Source, thanks Courtney]
Yesterday David and I braved the crowds and made our way to 5th Ave. to do a little shopping ... what we ended up doing was a lot of jostling with other shoppers. We had fun tho, I picked up some gifts for a couple of friends and David picked up some awesome shoes for himself ... it was all good. We made our way over to Rockefeller Center and I snapped a couple of crappy camera phone pics of the tree and one of the front of Saks Fifth Avenue:
Afterwards, we met up with his sister Eden and we went out for a delish Italian dinner in David's new neighborhood. It was a very nice night.
My NYC adventure ends today, I fly home to LA in a few hours so I must be off to enjoy my last moments with David.
And lastly, I have to send a huge Birthday Shout-out to Pink reader Jenny who is celebrating her birthday today. I ran into her partner Daniel here in NYC and he asked be send you some Birthday Lurve! Happy Birthday, Jenny!
That is all ... I'm out.
