"Don't Be Afraid To Let Them Show"
Much love to all our friends north of the border ... have a great day, y'all! XO [thanks Deanna and Angie]
Okay ... let's get down to biz ... so what's a Britney Spears to do when she finds herself in a public battle with her mother when all she wants to do is lurve someone or some thing? Well, she goes down to the pet store to rub up on a cute little Chihuahua puppy of course! Here are pictures of Britney lovin' up on a cute little dog yesterday afternoon:

Unfortch, Britney did not walk out of the store with this little dude. It's prolly for the best, I'm sure Britney has her hands full taking care of her children without having to worry about a new dog. That being said, I wouldn't have minded much if Brit decided to bring home a Bit Bit, II. Ah well ... at least Britney had the foresight to bring along her own beverage in case she got too parched or thirsty. I'm just glad it's not a 40oz. [Source]
Here are a bunch of pics of Paris Hilton doing pretty much everything that there is to do in Hawaii and she enjoys her first weekend of freedom since being released from jail this past Tuesday:

Strangely enough, Paris is spending this time in Hawaii by herself. Even tho she had dinner with some friends, Paris is predominantly enjoying all that Hawaii has to offer by herself. This seems strange to me since she just spent 23 days in solitary confinement. Actually, I heard that she knifed someone in the gut with a plastic utensil she keeps in her bra strap just because they looked at her ice cream cone the "wrong way". I guess you can take the heiress out of the jail but you can't take the jail out of the heiress. [Source]
Here are a few pictures from the Concert for Diana which is taking place all day long today at Wembley Stadium in London, England:

Not only did Elton John, Nelly Furtado and Fergie perform but P. Diddy, Kanye West, Pharrell, Lily Allen, Joss Stone and many others are set to take the stage today. The show is airing live on VH1 all day today and all the proceeds from this mega event will benefit Princess Diana's Patronages and Memorial Fund, Prince Harry's charity called Sentebale and Prince William's charity called Centrepoint. I think it's cool as hell that Princes William and Harry are so dedicated to supporting charitable works just like their mother Diana did her entire, too short life. [Source]
In other happy Princely news, it appears that Chelsy Davies and Kate Middleton have forgiven the Princes' transgressions and are all well and happy again. Chelsy and Harry were spotted openly showing their admiration for one another at the Concert for Diana while Kate (who publicly kept her distance from Wills) decided to show up for the concert herself:
It seems Prince Harry and his girlfriend Chelsy Davy have patched up their differences at the Concert for Diana, but for William and Kate Middleton the distance between them appears to be just too great. Together the four organised today's star-studded concert in memory of Princess Diana, but William and Kate officially broke up a matter of weeks before the big day. Kate sat two rows behind her former flame, but seemed to be enjoying the music as she laughed and sang with friends. Chelsy and Harry were set to have crisis talks this weekend after the young prince's antics in Canada. Harry was photographed kissing and groping scantily-clad barmaids during a break from an Army training course a fortnight ago. But the pair seemed to have made up at the concert, enjoying each other's company and kissing as they watched the concert below. The brothers got the concert underway with the words 'Hello Wembley!'. They greeted singer Nelly Furtado and 1980s chart-toppers Duran Duran, two of the acts taking the stage to remember Diana almost 10 years after her death in a Paris car crash. Sir Elton John opened the event with a performance of Your Song before introducing the two princes, who entered to a standing ovation. "This event is about all that our mother loved in life - her music, her dancing, her charities and her family and friends," said William, 25. "We just want you to have an awesome time and enjoy the line-up." Harry said: "It's great to see so many of you here supporting this very special show." And the 22-year-old royal couldn't resist cracking a gag. "When William and I first had the idea we forgot we would end up standing here desperately trying to think of something funny to say. We'll leave that to the funny people - and Ricky Gervais," he quipped. The concert falls on what would have been her 46th birthday. I'm absolutely sure that Diana would approve of her sons' actions today. She raised some pretty cool kids. Getting back to the Kate/Wills drama ... I suspect that they are much more friendly than we are being led to believe. There are all these rumors that they keep having secret dates and stuff. I think they are trying to take things slowly again since their very public break-up. I've always thought that Kate was good for William ... I guess we'll see how things turn out. [Source]
Eva Longoria and hubby-to-be Tony Parker are spending some time together with, ahem, a butt-load of friends on a yacht in St. Tropez in the days leading up to their nuptials ... and it looks like things have gotten a bit out of hand:

LOL! It looks like Tony and his boys wanted to take the plunge before he and Eva take their plunge and get hitched. I'll never understand why straight guys love to get nekkid with one another when they are rough-housing and paling around. I may not understand it but I don't mind it one bit. [Source]
Well now ... what bizznazz could Demi Moore have at the office of a plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills, CA these days? Hmm ... could this be the secret to hanging on to a man who is half your age? Here are pics of Demi unsuccessfully trying to sneak out of a Dr. 90210's office undetected:

At 44, Demi Moore grabs headlines around the world for her seemingly ageless face and figure, but Celebrity Babylon has found her secret to the fountain of youth! While we aren't going to disclose the name of the Beverly Hills plastic surgeon who spent over three hours with Moore, we can tell you that we've finally discovered his secret exit, where the stars make their stealth getaway -- until now that is. While the front entrance is used by the average folk, there is a back hallway that exits to a small parking area where Demi and others do their fancy footwork to evade being photographed ... She had entered the plastic surgeon's office at around 11 am, and left at a little after 2 pm. When she did, all chaos erupted. "A bodyguard saw us and quickly held up a black umbrella," says our snapper, "Demi came out and got in the passenger seat of the car. Her face looked puffier than it had when we saw her being driven there, and she held up a black towel to cover her face so we couldn't get pictures as she drove off." While we don't know what she had done, we will likely get a gander soon enough, when she hits a red carpet or is seen grabbing her coffee at Starbucks. Interesting ... well, you had to know that her beauty couldn't be the result of anything natural ... that just doesn't make any sense. [Source]
Pink reader Kim sends in a few great pics of James Marsters, who played Spike on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, performing at the Crazy Donkey in Farmingdale, NY this weekend:
Kim tells me that he put on a fantastic show, playing by himself for over an hour. I've always wanted to see James Marsters perform his music live but I've never been able to catch a show, so I appreciate Kim sharing her pictures with me. [thanks Kim]
I must send out much thanks and love to all the gracious Pink readers in London who have responded to my plea for help in procuring a copy of the new Prince album Planet Earth that will be given away for FREE in the Mail on Sunday newspaper. Pink reader Jennie (and others) have informed me that the cd will be distributed in the July 15th issue of the paper ...
... and as luck would have it, David and I will be in London on the 15th (it'll be our last day in town). I should be able to pick up a copy of the Mail on Sunday paper myself! That being said, you never know what might happen so I'm gonna hang on to a few emails that I received yesterday just in case. Thank you all so much for your offers to help me out :) It is much appreciated! I will try to write back to everyone who wrote me. xoxo [Source, thanks Jennie]
And finally, it's that time of the week again ... time for the Hot Dude of the Week. This week let's say hello to Bryan:
Now because Bryan's face is cut out of the pic I can't be sure if I've posted his picture before but honestly, I'm happy to feature multiple pics of some of these guys. It would seem that it is very hot wherever Bryan is and that is why he felt the need to take off all of his clothes. Man, don't you just love summer? Enjoy! [Source]

As soon as we arrived I ran into my friend Devon (who I always run into at the randomest places) and then, later on, met Pink readers Chip, Mark, Erik, Christian and Emily (she is pictured above with me and Johnny) who recognized Johnny from high school -- the two of them went to St. Francis Prep in Queens, NY (GO TERRIERS!) back in the day!
The show itself was great, Rosie O'Donnell and Margaret Cho brought the funny and Debbie Harry and Erasure got things started before Cyndi Lauper brought down the house. She was superb ... she even did a cover version of the Prince song When You Were Mine.
After the show, the 5 of us made our way to Hot Dog at its new location at Dragonfly. The go-go boys were hot, the drinks were stiff and the music was fun. At Hot Dog I ran into old buds Duckie and Corey and my new bud David and his friend Jerome. Thank the Lord Almighty, I think I may have found an LA hair stylist at long last ... the guys introduced me to Josh who might be my new hair dude. I know I sound a bit ridiculous here, but I just can't always fly back to Detroit for a haircut, so pardon my happiness.
We had so much fun yesterday ... I am so loving my LA friends right now :)
Tonight, Mike and I are meeting up with other new friends Darion and Kirsten for a movie at the Arc Light. I must say, this weekend has been pretty damn kickass so far.
I hope your weekend is just as fun! I am out!!
