Taped Before A Live Audience

It would seem that the speculation regarding Katie Holmes alleged pregnancy has been a bit premature ... tho, I remember thinking this exact thing when we started hearing rumors that she was pregs the first time back in 2005. But, I think it's safe to say that that photo we say yesterday that seemed to show off a burgeoning baby bump was prolly just unflattering. And speaking of unflattering photos, here are a few pictures of Katie playing with her daughter Suri as they vacation on the French Riviera:

As you can see, Katie is showing no protrusion whatsoever in her tummy region. Tho, with that big-ass buckle on her stomach, I can see how one can be distracted. Seriously, what the hell is she wearing? That buckle looks like it belongs on a pilgrim's shoe not on a bathing suit. And is she kidding us with the high heels? Someone women can pull off a bathing suit with high heels, unfortch, Katie Holmes cannot. [Source]

AND, as much as I HATE to admit it, I really think that little Suri Holmes Cruise is getting cuter and cuter by the second. There is no doubt that she is Katie's daughter (they look so much alike) tho, from whence she came, I still have no clue. Here are a few adorable pictures of Suri walking and then lounging with the man she calls father:

Photo credit: Splash News & Xposure

She really is a supercute baby. But I think it's time that she got a new hairdo ... since her mother got the same cut, it really does nothing for the little girl. Call me cruiseazy but that last pic of Suri with Tom is the cutest thing ever. [Source, Source]

Last night LG Electronics threw a huge bash to celebrate our favorite television shows and to launch the new LG VX9400 mobile phone. Stars from yesteryear like Gary Coleman, Scott Baio and Sherman Hemsley were joined by today's hottest TV and movie stars like Zachary Quinto and Masi Oka (from Heroes), Chris Evans (swoooon!) and Shannen Doherty for the celebration. Okay, so Shannen Doherty isn't so much one of the new kids on the block but I will forever love her for portraying the beyotchy Brenda Walsh and the amazing Prue Halliwell. Here are a few pics from the LG Mobile TV Party last night which was held on Stage 14 of Paramount Studios:

OMG ... can I just tell you how amazing this party last night was. I got an invite last week and was able to bring Mike and his sister Jill (who is visiting from Florida) to the party with me. We were completely blown away. Not only were we able to play with the LG VX9400 (which is a cell phone that is capable of playing almost live television in the palm of your hand -- it has to be the coolest phone I've ever seen!) upon arrival but we were able to play with all the fun stuff set up for the party. We were able to take pictures in the original Batmobile, the General Lee and the car from Starsky & Hutch. There were also photo ops in the living room of The Brady Bunch, Al's Diner from Happy Days and on the bridge of the Starship Enterprise. Forget the celebs, the atmosphere itself was the big draw. Okay, let's get back to the celebs. There was such an amazing mix of people there ... TV stars that I've loved since I was 5 all the way up to the hotties of today that we all love to talk about. As far as parties go, this one has to have been one of the coolest/funnest ever. I have lots of personal pics from last night's shindig that I'll post at the end of today's entry. [Source]

Hayden Panettiere was scheduled to join her Heroes cast mates at the LG Mobile TV party last night but, sadly, she was a no show. She must've been too wiped from her first day back on set of Heroes. Filming of the second season got underway earlier this week and here are a few pics of Hayden doing her thang on set:

I'm surprised that the Heroes peeps are back to work so soon after the end of the first season. I suppose they really want to get a head start on the new season so that they can keep the momentum going. I gotta say, I miss my Monday night routine of Heroes and 24 already. It's gonna be a long few months before I'll be able to enjoy my usual TV watching schedule. [Source]

Mary-Kate Olsen is also back to work on a TV show set this week, but because she's working on a cable TV show, I have no idea if this shooting schedule is normal or not. Anyways, here are pictures of Mary-Kate Olsen on the set of the Showtime series Weeds:

I'm not sure if MK's role on the show will be long-term or not but as long as she's bizzy working on TV, she won't have any time to design fugly, overpriced clothing with her sister. Oh and someone should try and help the girl with her bad posture. It's never too early to start thinking about osteoporosis. [Source]

With all the movie premieres behind them, Brangelina can get back to doing the work that is most important to them ... parenting. Here are new, precious pics of Brad Pitt dropping off the little ones, Zahara and Pax Thien, off at kindergarten:

Again, I ask you ... couldn't you just die? You know those kids are going to remember how their mom and dad spent as much time with them dropping them off and picking them up from school. And even if they won't remember, there will be plenty of photographic proof that their parents took an active role in their lives whenever possible. These kids must have amazing baby books. [Source]

Yesterday we found out that Lindsay Lohan decided to call off her big 21st Birthday Blow-out party that was to take place at Pure nightclub in Las Vegas because she, instead, wishes to focus on her rehabilitation. Almost as soon as the news came out, her father Michael Lohan found the nearest cameras to have his own little press conference about the announcement:

Gross. The man can't leech off his daughter in any financial way right now (thanks to mommy dearest Dina Lohan) so he is obvs trying to get whatever he can from her in any way he can. She blows her nose, he gives an interview. Boo. For the record, Mr. Lohan says he is happy that Lindsay called off her party ... most probably because he wasn't invited in the first place. [Source]

While Brad Pitt is the model father and Michael Lohan is severely lacking, we have no idea what new dad Larry Birkhead will be like as a father. The good news for him is that he was just awarded legal guardianship of his daughter Dannielynn Hope Marshall Birkhead meaning that he is now in full control of Anna Nicole's estate -- which, at present, is only valued at about $700,000. Howard K. Stern is just happy to enjoy whatever scraps Larry decides to throw his way:

Anna Nicole Smith's ex-boyfriend Larry Birkhead has finally got the legal guardianship of daughter Dannielynn and the late model's estate. Earlier, the 34-year-old filed a petition in probate court to be appointed as the sole guardian of Smith's Estate 'to enable him as her natural father to represent his daughter's interest in the probate proceedings'. He had claimed that as Dannielynn's father he was 'in the best position to protect and safeguard the interest of her estate' ... Birkhead, challenged Smith's will, as it was signed and dated on July 30th, 2001, before Dannielynn's birth and the death of Smith's son Daniel, who had been listed as the model's sole child in the will. According to the will, after the tax payment the property was to go to Howard Stern, who was supposed to keep it in a trust for Daniel till he reached 25. The estimated value of the estate is currently 710,000 dollars and its custody belonged to Stern who was the special administrator and executor of the estate. Birkhead and Stern held a short press conference after the court's ruling. The new 'daddy' revealed that his 9-month-old daughter was doing great. "Dannielynn is doing fine. We had a great Father's Day together," US Weekly quoted Birkhead, as saying. Stern insisted that he felt "disgusted with how stuff was handled in the Bahamas". And so, this is among the first steps for Larry Birkhead to eventually gain control of the megamillions that are supposed to be awarded from the will of Anna Nicole's husband of 15 seconds Howard Marshall. Howard K. Stern, who prolly thought he'd be the one to control those megamillions one day, has changed his tune about Larry and has decided to lend his support to him, saying: "I'm gonna try and help Larry in any way that I can so that Dannielynn has the best life that she can. I believe Larry will be a good father but some things will be difficult for her. She has lost her mother." LOL! Well, what else is gonna do? The meal ticket he worked so hard to secure just up and disappeared on him in an instant. Gone. Both Larry and Howard have remained steadfast that they will not allow Anna Nicole's mother Virgie Arthur to get one cent of Dannielynn's inheritance. What a family. [Source]

Well now ... it would seem that Jessica Biel is already getting quite chummy with the #1 woman in Justin Timberlake's life. Here are pictures of Jessica stalking randomly running into JT's mother Lynn on the streets of Stockholm, Sweden -- where JT is currently on tour:

Yeah, I can't really tell if this is really cute or really crazy (nor can I tell if JT's mom is groping Jessica's boob in the second pic -- she prolly is tho, it looks nice). One thing's for sure, I love it no matter what it is :) Jessica should be boiling someone's rabbit any day now. [Source]

Here are a couple of cute pictures of Kylie Minogue with her BFF and stylist William Baker enjoying a day of shopping together:

You know, if William weren't wearing that plunging neckline t-shirt so that his manly tufts of chest hair could peek out, you'd never know that he was Kylie's stylist. Oh, don't pay me no mind ... I'm just insanely jealous that he gets to be her gay BFF and I do not. [Source]

Who knew that emo Adam Brody was such a connoisseur of the arts. Here are a couple pics of Adam checking out a very interesting "arty" book in LA this week:

Shoot ... all I know is that I can appreciate a man who can appreciate a nekkid man, even if in a photo book. If Adam were any more emo he'd prolly be dating dudes ... which I have *no problem* with at all. [Source]

Speaking of nekkid men, the never fully-clothed Matthew McConaughey went out for a little surfing jaunt this week and was met with mixed results:

Matthew may not be the best surfer but he does look damn good in the garb. [Source]

Detroiters the White Stripes kicked off their new US tour in NYC last night and managed to win themselves at least one new fan. My friend Brett (aka cajun boy in the city) was able to attend last night's kick-off show and writes in his blog about how much fun it was. Here are a couple pics from last night's show:

When will people learn that everyone who comes out of Detroit is just so freaking cool? The Stripes' new album Icky Thump is just amazing. Expect to see it on a whole bunch of Top Ten lists at the end of the year. [Source]

H&M has announced that Roberto Cavalli will create a one-off collection for women and men exclusively for H&M, to be released later on this year. As much as I <3 her, I think this is prolly more exciting than the Madonna line that came out earlier this year:

The 'Roberto Cavalli at H&M' collection will be available in approximately 200 selected H&M stores worldwide for a limited period of time starting from November 8th 2007. The line will consist of iconic menswear, 20 pieces, and womenswear, 25 pieces, including lingerie plus matching accessories.

Here is a little vid H&M cooked up for this announcement:

Yeah, I don't wear much Cavalli but even I might rock something from H&M. [Source]

And finally, for some reason they are already hyping up Batman's newest mode of transportation, the Batpod, in person, over a year before the movie even comes out. Here is a picture of the actual Batpod at the New York Licensing Show this week:

I love that we now live in an age where movies are being sold in this way even before they are finished. I still don't like this Batpod. [Source]

Les News:
As I mentioned earlier, Mike, his sister Jill and I all went to the LG Mobile TV Party at the Paramount Studios last night and we all had the time of our lives. Before we hit the party, we grabbed a bite to eat at the Velvet Margarita which is a Mexican restaurant in Hollywood that looks like a strip club from the outside and the Mexican version of Disneyland's Haunted Mansion ride on the inside. Apparently, Vince Vaughn loves to eat there all the time -- go figure. Truth be told, the food was very good. We had a great meal together.

After dinner we made our way to the party and the fun really got going. We wanted to arrive a little early so that we could enjoy the fun stuff before it got too crowded:

Being able to sit in the original Batmobile was so damn cool but I think sitting in the Captain's chair on the bridge of the Starship Enterprise was the coolest thing ever. Yes, I am a dork. No, there are no apologies.

But soon the guests started streaming in and it was just turned into a madhouse of fun, food, drink and music. We got to mingle with some very cool people ... and we got to dance to some great tunes courtesy of DJ AM. Say what you will about the lad, he is a great DJ:

I was most heartbroken that I wasn't able to meet Shannen Doherty ... she breezed by me and I actually gasped out loud. I was too afraid to approach her and my opportunity was lost ... she left almost as quickly as she arrived. Getting to meet Zachary Quinto and Chris Evans more than made up for it tho. Le sigh. We also got to meet Ashley Jones (who plays Bridget on Bold and the Beautiful -- what? I love the show!), Chris Knight, Gary Coleman, Alan Thicke, Brittany Snow and on and on and on. All in all ... it was an amazing night. I also got to meet Pink readers Jenny and Bridget on the dancefloor.

I have to send out much love to Phil for taking such amazing care of Mike, Jill and me.

OY! It was a late night ...

I think I may have finally found a hair salon to go to here in LA. I've been holding off on finding a new place because I love Six Salon in Detroit so much. But the time has come ... I'm getting a haircut this afternoon. Wish me luck. I'm out.
