Brain Food

Well ... it didn't take long for Kevin Federline to shirk his fatherly obligations for the bright allure of those Las Vegas lights ... well, more specifically those Las Vegas gambling tables. Here are new pictures of The Federline chillin' out at the Venetian hotel and casino in Vegas getting' his gambling on -- and something tells me that wife Britney Spears got left at home with the two kids he's saddled her with:

Kevin prolly gave Britney some bullshizz story about how he had to get to Vegas for "work" or something like that ... it'd be funny if it weren't so sad. [Source]

Speaking of "sad" things and Vegas ... and I realize that it's prolly too early in the week to get all gross on you but ... here are new pictures of Paris Hilton partying in Vegas like a good little debutante heiress is required to do ...

Well at least she's wearing underwear, I suppose we can thank the gods for small favors. So, is Elliot Mintz, Paris' PR lackey, required to be within 5 feet of her at all times these days? Is he trying to keep her out of trouble? Yeah ... that poor guy's got his work cut out for him. Except for the massive amounts of money he gets paid from Miss Hilton, I bet he hates his life. [Source]

Hahahhahah ... you know anytime that TomKat shows up at a sporting event to cheer on one of the Cruise kids they're bound to show up at the other Cruise kid's sporting event soon after ... in some cases, like this weekend ... they show up to both in the same day. Here are pictures of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes chillin' at another one of Connor's football games:

LOL! As much as I love Katie's kickass boots, I bet that Tommy boy hates them. Check him out trying to look taller than her by standing on the bleacher seat. Wouldn't it be easier for him to just saw off a portion of Katie's legs to make her shorter than he is? Shit! I hope I didn't just give him an awful idea. Sorry Katie. [Source]

Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen have fled to the beautiful city of Paris to ... well ... shop or something like that (click HERE for a funny video ... I don't think they like being called Michelle). They are using this opportunity to try out some of their new fashion ideas ... Ashley looks great in the leather ( but MK appears to have forgotten to pack her clothes ... she had to resort to wearing the hotel bed spread instead (Ooh! That rhymed!):

You know ... if anyone can make bedding work as an ensemble, it's Mary Kate Olsen. Kudos! [Source]

But while the diminutive ones are trying to be all Fashion Forward in the French lands, it must be revealed that they're not always the epitome of beauty and style ... or, you know, actually looking alive:

EGADS! Did the twins die and we weren't informed? They really need to stop using embalming fluid as a foundation ... it's really not working. [Source]

Kirsten Dunst and Drew Barrymore were both on hand for a Sony Global Marketing Partners event over the weekend ... I understand that the event required the attendees to wear the ugliest black outfits they could find and the winner would get a prize:

Yeah, I'm gonna call a tie for first place. [Source, Source]

You know, when it comes to walking ... one day you're IN and the next ... you're OUT:

Aww ... yeah, lame joke but how many more chances am I gonna get to reference Project Runway before the season ends? :( [Source]

Mischa Barton has very questionable tastes in fashion ... here are pictures of the lassy trying to bring back the muumuu:

And just because it's an odd pairing, I threw in a picture of Alyssa Milano hanging out with Desmond Tutu (get it? muumuu, Tutu?). I'm not sure which one frightens me more. [Source, Source]

Oh right ... Mischa frightens me more ...

... UGH! I need a safe warm place ... just need to retreat to a safe warm place. [Source]

Hmmm ... Adam Brody isn't one to get pissy with the photogs ... and yet, here he is flippin' the bird ... do you suppose he's in a pissy mood about something?

There are rumors that Adam and Rachel Bilson are having problems in their relationship ... that would explain Brody's crappy demeanor. I sincerely hope that the rumors are not true, or at the very least they work things out. I love Adam and Rachel as a couple. I wonder what evil could have possibly transpired that would've caused a rift in their relationship. [Source]

Ohhhhh ... I think I found the problem:

It totally makes sense now. Work it out, kids! We need you to stick together! [Source]

Will Young, the world's first Pop Idol (the precursor to American Idol), is on the road again in Europe ... here are some cheeky pictures of the lad's show from Wembley Arena this weekend:

I gotta admit, I'm not a huge fan of his music ... there are some songs that I like ... but I do give the boy props for his appealing ... assets. He is a smart boy ... borrowing tour tips from Kylie (the airline theme) and Madonna (the equestrian theme) is brills. He's such a good gay. [Source, Source]

Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez are in Puerto Rico doing promo for their new movie El Cantante ... here are a couple pictures of the happily wedded couple from a show they did in San Juan:

Yeah, Marc should carry that flag around with him all the time. He looks great! [Source]

And fianlly ... can I get a Holy Crapamola! Did y'all watch the E! preview episode of their new show House of Carters last night? My good friend Jon is one of the story editors on the show (you can see his name credited at the start of the show) and has been telling me for months how amazingly awesome this show is going to be ... and he wasn't lying:

In just the first half of the premiere episode (which you can watch online HERE) we've already gotten to witness the Carter family love for one another ... and for booze. The best recipe for a successful reality show is family dysfunction and unfettered access to unlimited amounts of alcohol. Sign me up! The crazy shizz debuts tonight at 9PM on E! [Source, Source]

Les News:
My plans for a movie never came to fruition last night ... I am on this crazy reading kick and I don't know how to stop it. I suppose it's a good thing that I'm feeding my brain with stuff more nutritious than House of Carters but it doesn't make for any interesting stories. I read most of the day ... then went out for dinner where I read some more. I gotta say ... I like all of this alone time. My apartment is starting to feel like a home, LA is starting to feel more like a home.

No plans for tonight so far ... but I have a sneaking suspicion that I'm just gonna ... you know ... stay home.

Happy Monday. I'm out.
