Bringing BritneyBack

Brace yourselves, y'all ... there's gonna be a whole lotta Spederline today ... heaps even. It seems that just about any time that Britney steps foot outside her door everyone takes notice (despite the fact that her detractors say that she is "over") and when Brit-Brit stays out of the public eye for any bit of extended time (like, say, to give birth to a baby or something like that) we all go into fits of withdrawal. Britters has been slowly emerging in public since the birth of her second child, Jayden James, first emerging in the shadows of her hubby Kevin Federline's Halloween performance last week in West Hollywood and then again, somewhat shockingly, last night in a brief cameo on The Late Show with David Letterman. Here is a cute picture of Britney out and about in NYC (in town because K-Fed was in NYC to do album promo) rockin' a fit bod and hot new bob:

Woot! Woot! It's great to see her out again! I love the hair ... the dress, not so much but I'll take what I can get. [Source]

Britney's blink-and-you-missed it appearance on The Late Show (and I must admit, I blinked, I missed seeing it live) was kinda cute in that Britney's-being-a-dork-cuz-she-thinks-it's-cute-but-it-really-isn't sorta way:

But thanks to the wonder that is YouTube.com, anyone who may have missed her little appearance can watch it over and over again at their leisure:

She looks freaking great. It won't be long until she's back to work full-time and back on the streets in front of coffee shops every single day. I'm actually a little surprised that we've still yet to see what little J.J. Spears Federline looks like. I think it's about time, damnit! [Source, Source]

K-Fed, on the other hand, is no stranger to making surprise appearances ... especially when it comes to the WWE. It looks like Kevin is having a hard time getting all that wrestling biznazz out of his system because he paid his third "surprise" visit to the WWE's Cyber Sunday Pay-Per-View this past Sunday night:

The way I understand it (and I'm not sure I fully understand it) there was some sort of fan vote to see if the champion, King Booker, would have to wrestle to defend his title ... and the results were that, yes, he would have to defend his title against John Cena. As King Booker and John Cena were wrestling for the championship, K-Fed made his appearance: Then out of nowhere, rap artist and Cena's recent adversary Kevin Federline ran into the ring and hit Cena with the World Heavyweight Championship. A stunned Cena went after K-Fed, but King Booker clocked Cena with a second shot, knocking the champ out cold. Booker ultimately covered Cena for the three-count to retain his gold. As Cena lay motionless in the ring, K-Fed mocked him by doing Cena's signature "You Can't See Me" taunts over his defeated body. K-Fed was heard laughing and making fun of Cena on his way out of the arena and bragged to several that he would be on Monday Night RAW. While his motives are not known at this time, K-Fed's Cena screw job comes on the heels of several weeks of each movie star/rapper trying to one up each other. However, costing the Dr. of Thuganomics the title goes well beyond anything either party has done to the other in the past. Much like the name of his new album, K-Fed is Playing with Fire. Um ... whatever. I get the novelty of all of this stuff but seriously ... K-Fed needs to find a different sport to ruin ... maybe squash? I somehow doubt that is the last we'll see of K-Fed in the wrestling ring. [Source, thanks Sara and Jayce]

When he's not ruining wrestling bouts, K-Fed is doing his best to ruin the music scene all over the world. The Federline moved his promo tour into Canada where he made a guest appearance on the TRL-like show Much on Demand on Much Music ... where the audience was given this instruction by the show's floor director, "Please, don't boo Kevin. This is an important show for us." ... um ... LOLZ:

I really hope the Canadians don't hate us now. [Source, thanks Shaunna]

IN OTHER NON-SPEDERLINE NEWS ... Matthew McConaughey is spending some time workin' and chillin' down in Australia where he celebrated his 37th birthday over the weekend ... here are a couple pictures of Matthew and a clone whooping it up on a sunny OZ beach in Port Douglas with a game of frisbee:

Wait, when did the game of Frisbee get so sexy? Is it supposed to be a contact sport? Not that I'm complaining or anything like that. Wee! [Source]

Over the weekend, Hilary Duff was honored by the TJ Martell Foundation for AIDS and Cancer research with the Children's Choice Award ... here are a couple pictures of Hilary arriving at the ceremony and accepting her award:

Congrats to Hilary for being chosen for this awesome honor. Her work with sick children is so admirable ... and it must be said that I love her new black hair. [Source]

Heidi Klum looks to be about mere moments away from giving birth to her 46th child:

It shouldn't be long now ... but she better hurry up. She's running out of time to get pregnant again this year. [Source]

Um ... I don't really pay much attention to the new version of INXS, nor do I really pay much attention to their new frontman J.D. Fortune ... but this little incident caught my eye ... here is a picture of J.D. rockin' out at an appearance at a Virgin Megastore in London with a little little problem with his pants:

How sad is it that I had to get my nose all up close to my computer monitor in order to inspect the contents of that little hole? Yeah, it's pretty sad. It's even more sad that there wasn't much to see. Boo! [Source]

I realize that sun tanning is not really good for you ... but in some instances, it should be enforced ... I really don't think it's fair that we should have to be exposed to the gleaming white pastiness of either Frankie Muniz or Andy Dick:

Guys ... get thee to a sunnery. [Source, Source]

Apparently I am missing all sorts of fun shizz by not watching enough late night television ... first, I miss seeing Britney Spears' surprise cameo on The Late Show last night and apparently, I missed out on seeing Ashton Kutcher's bare bum get flashed in front of the national monuments in Washington DC on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno earlier this week:

Okay ... so the booty is blurred out and prolly really doesn't belong to Ashton but still ... maybe I should make it a point to watch more late night talk shows. I wonder what other tawdry goodness I've been missing. [Source]

Cameron Diaz is lookin' like Woah! in her new photospread in W magazine:

Believe you, me ... no one is more shocked than I am. I think the dark hair really suits her much better than the blonde does. Dare I say that she's bringing SexyBlack? Yeah ... I prolly deserve a stint in comedy jail for that one. [Source]

Now I don't know whether or not I should be totes grossed out by this ... but I am deffo intrigued by it ... someone is auctioning a picture print of a fully nude Yul Brynner from the 1940s. Yeah ... I wouldn't be surprised if many of you don't even know who Yul Brynner is (he was the most famous bald actor before Kojak's time ... but I know him as Ramses from the movie The Ten Commandments) but a nekkid actor is a nekkid actor ... even if he's long Peaced the Spork Out:

If you're at all interested in seeing the NSFW goodies that Yul was rockin' back in the 40s you'll have to head over to the eBay auction listing HERE (where you'll have to sign in and confirm you're old enough to see his naughty bits). I had no idea he wasn't Jewish. [Source]

And finally, Pink reader Patryk sends in these hot outtake photos of Kelis from her GQ photoshoot released earlier this summer:

I just love her. She is deff the total hotness in these pics. [Source, thanks Patryk]

Les News:
Last night, in desperate need of a distraction to keep my mind off things, I attended a screening of the new Alejandro González Iñárritu movie Babel. The screening was held at the Paramount Studios lot by the Diversity Council of the Screen Actors Guild ... which was moderated by Lou Diamond Phillips! Even tho I knew the movie might be a bit depressing I was really in the mood to be completely distracted last night:

I am a fan of Alejandro's movie Amores Perros so I knew what I was in for with this movie ... raw, gritty realness of story that pulls you in. I was very impressed with all the actors in the film but I think I really identified most with Adriana Barraza who played Amelia, the illegal immigrant nanny of Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett's children. Something about her character really spoke to me ... her plight, the circumstance that changed her life. I was also very impressed with Rinko Kikuchi who played the deaf mute Japanese girl. Surprisingly enough, both Adriana and Rinko were at the screening and took part in a question/answer panel for about 30 minutes afterwards. The movie is really 4 movies in one that are all connected with little threads that don't really have an overarching effect on one another. There are connections that lead to developments but each story really could exist on its own without any influence from the other stories. It's a powerful film, in that it really comes across as a world film -- true international cinema. I quite enjoyed it. Much love to M@ for the invite!!

I have to go vote now. I registered to vote here in California just under the deadline and now I have to do my civic duty. Please make sure you take the time to go vote today. It is very important that you make sure you have your say in who gets elected to represent you in government. That is all. I'm out.
