What're You Doin' Xmas Eve?
Kylie Minogue and her boyfriend Olivier Martinez were snapped arm-in-arm together strolling the streets of Paris, France yesterday. You may recall that Paris was where Kylie received her breast cancer treatments earlier this year. Here are a couple pictures of the lovebirds in the romantic City of Lights:

Firstly, I am so happy to see these two still happily together. They have been thru so much together in the past year that I'm glad to see that their relationship appears to have strengthened thru Kylie's adversity. Secondly, I think it's great that they are spending the Holidays in Paris. I absolutely fell in love with Paris earlier this year and it's just a nice feeling knowing that Kylie and Olivier are enjoying the city togther for those of us who cannot be there as well. Ain't love grand? [Source]
Er, well it ain't grand for everyone ... here are a couple pictures of a very solo Vince Vaughn as he makes his way thru LAX airport in LA this weekend:

It appears that newly single Vince will be spending the holidays in work mode. He is wearing a Fred Claus cap which is the movie that he is currently working on for release next Xmas. Hey, the best way to deal with the holiday blues (and the loss of an insanely beautiful girlfriend due to your indiscretions with a blabby sorority girl) is to throw yourself in your work and keep your head up ... or your chin down, if you prefer. Poor Vincey. [Source]
I do not know what in hell possessed Angelina Jolie to embark on a little shopping expedition at Kitson on Robertson Blvd. in LA but there she was this week, rummaging thru their line of "trendy t-shirts", oversized novelty purses and overpriced designer jeans:

Somehow, Kitson just seems beneath someone like Angelina Jolie. She is practically a deity and shouldn't be dirtying her hands amongst the common folk. Maybe she just wanted to see how the poor people (ie. people who only have to pay $400 for a pair of jeans) live? Maybe she was looking for gag gifts to give out this year? [Source]
Here are a few cute pictures of a very happy-looking Hilary Duff with her big sister Haylie Duff as they do a little pre-Xmas shopping around Vancouver, BC earlier this week:

I'm not quite sure if that smile on Hilary's face is due to her being able to hang out with her sister for the holidays or if it's due to those heavy shopping bags that they're carrying but it's nice to see her looking well. [Source]
I'm not exactly sure what Mariah Carey is doing (or wearing, for that matter) as she poses for photographers in front of her mother's Aspen, CO jewelry store but I suspect that her behavior might have something to do with her recent stint with the alcohol:

I really hope she's not going crazy again. I'm afriad she's already milked that "I'm gonna go crazy so that people don't expect much from me and then will come back with a super successful album and get everyone's love and attention back" cow last year. [Source]
SuperHeroHype.com has, what I believe to be, our first look at what the Silver Surfer will look like in the new movie Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer which will be unleashed next summer. Interesting ... apparently the Silver Surfer will be a completely computer generated character much like Gollum in the Lord of the Rings Triology movies:
In June, the Silver Surfer jumps from page to screen in The Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. With computer-generated imagery techniques similar to those used to create Gollum in The Lord of the Rings, the slippery Surfer, voiced by Doug Jones, "will look somewhere between gun metal and fluid metallics so you can see the body motion, the breathing, the muscle tone, the mood," says Marvel Studios CEO Avi Arad. The Surfer's mood is key to the story. After striking a deal with the evil Galactus to save his planet, the once-human Surfer wreaks havoc throughout the cosmos. "He is a highly emotional being, trapped inside fluid metal," Arad says. It will be interesting to see if they're able to pull off believability using both live action actors and this computer generated one. Gollum looked great in LotR so it's possible. Some industrious fan managed to record the teaser trailer for Fantastic Four 2 which is playing in front of the movie Night at the Museum and managed to upload it to YouTube HERE. Check it out before it gets pulled. [Source]
In other new movie news, the first posters for Hostel part II are out and are causing quite a sensation at movie theaters all over the country where families are going out to see something as sweet as Charlotte's Web and are being faced with this:
While some folks seem to have a problem with the "goriness" of this poster, I find it pretty benign. This is supposed to be a poster of "guts and intestines" but it really looks like a heap of Arby's roast beef to me. They should've thrown in a toe or a tongue or something ... I'm not impressed. And finally, it's time for the Hot Dude of the Week ... and this week we're going Santa Style ... check out Joe -- one of Santa's helpers:
It looks like Santa Joe has got a nice surprise for all the good boys and girls out there in his velvety-red sack. This looks like one Xmas package worth finding under the Xmas tree. Is that it? Have I forgotten any other cliches to throw out there? Enjoy ;) [Source]
Sarah and Mark's party was so fun ... everyone showed up and we all just had a great time hanging out with one another. I finally got to meet Sherri's little bundle of joy Daniel (who was only born about 3 weeks ago) and, of course, Zakiya was the life of the party. We also got to meet new friends like Scott and I got to spend some really great quality time old friends -- it was just a great holiday party. Here are a few photos:
And you can click HERE to see the rest. The Dickel was a big hit as was the Holiday Gift Exchange game. I didn't go home with the neon Playboy sign that I had my eye on but I was happy with my jumbo bottle of Kaluha. I just love my friends, I'm very lucky to have them all in my life and every time I get to see them I just thank my lucky stars to know them all. It's been a great Xmas so far :)
Tonight I'm chillin' at home with my folks so ... I'm gonna go be lazy. Have a Merry Xmas (or whatever holiday you celebrate or don't celebrate) everybody!
I'm out!
