Yo Ho Ho

This is my first official post from the Sunny shores of California ... I've had a heck of a weekend, as many of you are well aware ... but let's get to it ...

Did you know that Kevin Federline has other children outside of his marriage to Britney Spears? I'm actually surprised that he knows that he has children outside of his marriage to Britney but that's beside the point. Here are pictures of The Federline spending some quality time with his first two children Kori and Kaleb Federline:

I have to admit, it's really nice of the guy to spend a couple hours out of the year with his children from an unfamous, unrich woman. I can't believe how big Kaleb has gotten ... we don't get to see pictures of him or Kori on a regular basis so he gets bigger and bigger every time we get to see him/them. I'm sure the next time we get to see pictures of him, he'll be just entering collage. Oh wait ...that's silly ... Federlines don't go to college. [Source]

So Team Italy beat everyone else in the world to become the 2006 World Cup champions ... and just how do Italian World Cup champions celebrate ... why, sans pants of course:

Italy has been my favorite team to follow in this year's World Cup mainly because they really know how to engage in the hot man lurve. I know if I won a world championship of some sort the first thing I would want to do is take off my pants (or shorts or whatev) and go rub up on some dude. I wonder if I have a little Italian blood in me? [Source, thanks Sushmita]

Anyways, here is the Pink is the new Blog salute to the Italian Soccer team:

May you stay happy, healthy and pantsless. [Source]

Hmmm ... I know I'm no super sleuth but I think I'm on to something ... these pictures of Nick Lachey and MTV VJ Vanessa Minnillo seem very suspicious to me ...

... you see, they're walking away from each other as if they just happened to randomly be in the same place, at the same time. It is curious that they both have their hats pushed down over their eyes, hiding as much face as they can. Call me crazy, but I suspect that these two are actually together and are just trying to appear as if they are not together. Wow ... I amaze myself sometimes. [Source]

Justin Timberlake is rolling along thru Europe previewing tracks from his new album FutureSex/LoveSounds ... here are a couple pictures from his show in Amsterdam:

And his show rolls on ... I can't wait til he brings the new tunes to the US. Yeah! [Source]

First, Keith Urban introduced his new bride Nicole Kidman to the wonder that is Target. I'm fairly certain that she fell in love with the store -- I mean, who doesn't love Target? Then, Keith took Nic to one of those large discount book chains to pick up some reading material -- she doesn't look very impressed:

Hmmm ... Nicole Kidman never struck me as the McDonald's and K-Mart kinda woman ... will she acclimate herself to this new way of life or will she rebel. I fear that if Keith tries to get her to go to Fantastic Sams their whole relationship will be dunzo. [Source]

Prince William is such a great prince ... here are pictures of his royal majesty runnin' around in a dorky helmet for a good cause:

Army training is clearly paying off for Prince William: he made short work of a mile-long run and assault course over the weekend when he and fellow officer cadets undertook a charity fundraiser. After enthusiastically joining in a warm-up session that saw the Sandhurst trainees dance along to YMCA and McFly's single Don't Stop Me Now, William completed the run, followed by an assault course, in the grounds of the elite Sandhurst Military Academy. The dashing royal easily scaled the eight-foot high walls as part of the exercise and made it over the finish line in a respectable 14 minutes ... The day, in aid of Sport Relief, was a prelude to next Saturday's main event when tens of thousands of runners nationwide are expected to take part in the Extra Mile for Sport Relief. Uh ... the prince likes to dance to YMCA and McFly? Loves it! The only thing that would make this whole thing any cooler would be if Wills were running around in spandex. ER ... I DID NOT JUST SAY THAT! [Source]

Here is a picture of some of my most favorite Queens ever:

Kylie Minogue and Scissor Sisters are the best. This photo, taken with Elton John, was from Elton's party a couple of weeks ago. Not very many people can pull off silver sequins like Kylie can ... yes, folks ... I am very gay. [Source]

Thank the gods ... someone finally got Paris Hilton to pick up a pair of undies so that we won't have to suffer thru any more crotch flash incidents any time soon:

Okay, I know these striped shorts aren't underwear ... but something is better than nothing, right? [Source]

TMZ has uncovered the certificate of live birth for Suri Holmes-Cruise ... this is proof positive that Suri actually exists, right?

WRONG! This birth certificate proves nothing but further shady dealings by TomKat and their alleged baby: The document, filed with the Los Angeles County Register-Recorder/County Clerk, was filed May 8, 2006. There are several interesting items of note: First, St. John's Hospital has a policy of filing birth certificates within 10 days of birth. In this case, Suri was born on April 18 but the certificate was not filed until May 8, 20 days later. An official from the hospital told TMZ that the delay occurred because they needed a signature from the parents or a representative of the parents certifying birth, and that person did not come in until May 4. The person who signed is labeled "friend." The signature is not legible. Also, the "Attendant or Certifier" who signed the certificate -- Anne Heffernan, RNC -- was not in the delivery room and did not see the baby. But a hospital rep tells TMZ that Heffernan is authorized to sign when the doctor is not available. A hospital rep said "normally the doctor signs" but it isn't a requirement. Finally, the hospital rep said that the circumstances that triggered the eventual signing of the birth certificate were that Suri needed a passport and a birth certificate is a prerequisite to obtaining one. So, the person who certified this document wasn't in the birthing room and didn't actually lay eyes on the "baby"? And the only reason why the "parents" had the certificate signed was because they needed a passport ... to get out of the country ... where it's easier to buy babies? Yeah, I'm sure this whole thing isn't really a SHAM! [Source]

Mariah Carey is on the cover of the new issue of Ebony magazine and she looks perfect:

Oh Mimi, where would you be without the wonders of Photoshop? I don't even want to know the answer to that question ... it's too horrible a thing to imagine. [Source]

And finally, Pink reader Melanie sends in this scan from the college publication called Study Breaks -- this particular issue is from the University of Texas in Austin -- which has an awesome write-up of Pink is the new Blog:

I'm actually touched that they chose to use a picture of Clay Aiken to go along with the article ... and by touched I mean, really effing offended! LOL ... nah, it's cool ... I am very appreciative for the lurve. Thanks so much! [thanks Melanie]

News:
Can I just tell you ... I'm beat, y'all. It's been a grueling past few days ... yesterday, my first full day living in LA was pretty hectic. I did my first trip to Ikea and picked up some awesome stuff ... I still have a ways to go to get my apartment all situated but it's coming along nicely. I almost died in the California heat trying to carry my larger purchases from the car into my apartment but it was all worth it. I have to send out lots of love to Sarah, Jim, Adriana and Brian for helping me carry stuff. You really know who your friends are when you need someone to help you move your shizz.

Last night we decided to take a break and go see a movie, we joined most of America and went out to see Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man's Chest. I am one of only 9 people in the world who didn't see the first movie but it really didn't interfere with my enjoyment of the sequel:

While some people hated this sequel, I really enjoyed it. I found it way more exciting to watch than Superman Returns. I was really impressed with the special effects. I'm told the first movie didn't have as much FX and that these effects were a pretty big departure from the last film. I don't know about that, all I know is that the crew of the Flying Dutchman rocked balls. The hammerhead shark guy was my fave ... wouldn't he make a great Halloween costume? I have to say, I'm quite proud of the actor that Johnny Depp has become. He is able to utterly transform himself into any character he chooses ... he really has come a long way from 21 Jump Street. This movie had a Star Wars trilogy feel to it ... except, you know, but on a boat.

I'm really glad my friends took me to see this movie ... I prolly wouldn't have seen it otherwise (since I haven't seen the first movie). The movie is so fun ... you should deff check it out even if you've not seen the first movie. It's a swashbuckling good time!

Lots to do today ... I'm out!
