The Other White Meat

BreatheHeavy.com is reporting that Paris Hilton has come to Britney Spears' defense in response to all the backlash and allegations that are being leveled at her in the wake of her recent actions. Now, whether you think Paris speaking up on her behalf is a good thing or a bad thing is beside the point (actually, I'm not sure what to make of it myself) but here is text of Paris Hilton's treatise that was posted as a bulletin on her My Space profile:

I told Brit I'd write a bulletin on here to try to clear some news to at least the people who are on my list...

Lately, you've been seeing pics of me and Britney partying (blah blah) and she knows that some of her fans are very upset about what they call her "behavior" and sadly they're blaming the issue on her being friends with me. Yeah, me and Brit have become really close in the past few weeks, and we've gone out alot in the past few nights, but I never influence anything she does, and neither does anyone else.

Brit is her own person and she deals with her own things everyday. For people to call out her parenting skills on behalf of her partying ethics is appalling. Britney loves her kids to death, and I know for a fact that it truly hurts her when she sees these cruel things being written about her.

She goes home every night to her babies and partying has not come in the way of her parenting.

Anyone who has called her out on this should really be ashamed. There are thousands of mothers out there who like to go out and have a good time. But, you do not see people out there calling them "bad parents" She's young, and if she wants to go out and have some fun, let her. Just because she does these things does not mean she doesn't care about her children. For the sake of Britney and her kids, be kind

Love,
Paris

It's interesting that she, Paris HILTON!, first makes a point to say that she has no influence on Britney's behavior and then goes on to chastise others for calling Britney's "parenting skills" and "partying ethics" into question. It would seem that Paris is really trying to be a good friend to Britney by coming to her defense and I guess that's admirable. At the end of the day, tho, people are going to come to their own conclusions based on what they see, not what they're told. I, for one, hope that Britney can still have fun, stay safe, take care of her family and put out a kick-ass record. NO MORE CROTCH! It's really not that hard to accomplish.

Elsewhere in Hollywood Land, Armani Exchange and Details magazine threw a little shindig at Area nightclub earlier this week and they pulled out all the stops in order to get the hottest, sexiest celebs to attend:

I would say Mission: NOT Accomplished. Altho, the fact that Kevin Federline and Kimberly Stewart were both at the same party brings up an interesting idea ... wouldn't it be great if the two them joined forces ... and left the country together never to be seen or heard from again? Yeah, that'd be gnarly to the extreme. [Source]

Brangelina are back in the US and appear to be taking a tour of the East Coast, hitting all the usual hot spots along the way ... like when they were in Pittsburgh, PA and they swung by to hang out at Frank Lloyd Wright house Fallingwater ... you know, just like your regular everyday tourists:

What's the perfect birthday gift for half of the world's most famous perfect couple? Why, a visit to one of the world's most famous houses, of course. Yesterday, Angelina Jolie treated Brad Pitt to an afternoon at Fallingwater. "Brad said he had wanted to experience Fallingwater ever since he took an architectural history course in college," said Cara Armstrong, Fallingwater's Curator of Education. "He and I talked quite a bit about design and art. He was incredibly well informed about architecture." Armstrong and Fallingwater's Events Coordinator, Edna King, picked up Pitt and Jolie at the Latrobe airport and spent an hour talking to them before Armstrong led them on a two-hour private tour of the house. Armstrong described the couple as "very gracious and very engaged in the house. As we say in the Midwest, you could tell their mothers raised them right. "Brad said he had a visual sense of Fallingwater but experiencing it in person, hearing the sound of the waterfall cascading under the house and smelling the wood from the fireplace, was better than anything he could have imagined," Armstrong said. During their visit, both Pitt and Jolie commented on the beauty of the winter landscape of the Laurel Highlands. After the tour, Jolie had arranged to have champagne and caviar sent in, which the couple shared in a private birthday celebration in Fallingwater's living room. Afterward, they invited the staff to join them ... "He's so hard to buy for," Jolie told the Fallingwater staff members. Well, I guess when you're trying to get a gift for the man who literally has everything then you really have to get creative. I think it's so sweet that Angelina would come up with this little afternoon trip for Brad's birthday. His birthday isn't until the 18th so this was surely a nice surprise. I wonder if they're gonna use this pic as their Xmas card? It's really cute! Incidentally, Brangelina have already left Pittsburgh and are now in New York City. [Source]

Victoria Beckham is also in New York City, presumably to get a little shopping done for the holiday season. Here are a couple pictures of Posh on the streets of NYC trying to look as fab as can be in the bitter cold:

That shaggy, raggedy coat does not look warm enough, especially with her exposed arms, but if she thinks she looks good then I guess that's all that matters. The fact that she is completely wrong is beside the point. [Source]

Here are a few photos of Erika Christensen with her friends (including Jason Lee) at the Church of Scientology's Christmas Stories XIV celebration last weekend. I have no idea how Scientologists celebrate the Christmas holiday (are XENU and Jesus friends or what?) but it would seem that their festivities call for embarrassing reindeer costumes and ... well, what more can one ask for?

It would be fascinating to see what one of these celebrations is like ... to see how the inner workings really go down ... tho, I'm not sure the risk would be worth the reward -- and I would look terrible dressed as a reindeer. [Source]

Here are a few pictures of the cast of the NBC smash hit show Heroes as they gathered together recently for a little press conference about the show:

Can I just say that those Petrelli brothers are the smokin' hotness. Natalie Maines, of the incredible Dixie Chicks, is married to Adrian Pasdar (who plays flying Hero cum Congressman Nathan Petrelli) and is a very lucky woman, IMHO! Hayden Panettiere looks totally freaky in the two middle pics, but that's the best thing about pictures from press conferences ... the photogs always try to get the funny-face shots. Oh and have I mentioned that I *love* Heroes? [Source]

Nicole Scherzinger, ex-Eden's Crush member and current Pussycat Dolls phenom, graces the cover of the December/January issue of Complex magazine which hits newsstands next Tuesday. She is curiously absent a few Pussycat Dolls and, actually, I think that's the way it should be:

Yeah, yeah ... I know they're a group and they look all sexy together but really, the other girls have always come off as just back-up dancers (altho, there is something to be said for packaging -- the PCD are way more successful than Eden's Crush ever was and Nicole was/is in both groups). They do some great dance routines and all that but it's really all about Nicole. I'm looking forward to her solo debut album which is due to come out next year. I think Nicole can give the Fergies and Gwens a run for their money. [Source]

Let's play a little game ... can you guess which Hollywood "It" Girl emerged from having lunch with her boyfriend (and who knows what else with him) and forgot to zip up the fly in her outrageously expensive jeans?

Yep, it happens to the best of us ... but are you right? Do you know who's hidden away inside that open fly? [Source]

The long-awaited sequel to the outrageously hilarious and sexy movie Eating Out has finally been unleashed upon the world. Eating Out 2: Sloppy Seconds had it's LA premiere this weekend (which I had to miss cuz I'm in NYC) and to celebrate, here are a few very hot, very NSFW screenshots from the movie of a very naked Marco Dapper. I feel it's my duty, as a conscientious blogger, to augment all the female genital action that has been so rampant in recent weeks with some good ol' male genital action ...

... no need to thank me, just enjoy! I absolutely loved Eating Out and can't wait to see this sequel. By the looks of it, it promises to be pretty damn hot. Click HERE to check out more fun behind the scenes pics from the movie at the official blog. [Source]

Marco Dapper, one of the stars of Eating Out 2: Sloppy Seconds (Mr. Nekkidness above), is on the cover of the new issue of Frontiers magazine:

Sadly, Marco is a straight boy ... but he's a hot straight boy that is cool with the homo love that he's sure to receive once the movie gets seen. When asked what it's like for him to be a fantasy to both women and men he replied, I’m having fun. If you gotta be a piece of meat, you gotta be. LOL! I couldn't agree more. From one hot dude to another, insanely hot dude, here are a few screencaps from my David's latest collaboration with LX.tv. Click below to watch 2 minutes of David doing a gossy vlog for LX.tv:

He is so cute and very funny in this piece. I believe LX.tv is interested in having David do more vlogs for them so hopefully, this will be the first of many great chances to see David in action. [Source]

And finally, it's time for this week's batch of pictures sent in by Pink is the new Blog readers doing the damn thing -- Lauren sends in pictures of her new twin nieces, Avery and Brynn, who were born last week and make their worldwide pink debut here on PITNB -- Julie from Sparks, NY sends in a pic of her daughters Meg & Shel who recently celebrated their 4th birthday -- Sonya and friends from Albuquerque, NM celebrating Sonya's wedding -- John sends in a picture of his friend Liz who celebrated her 40th birthday recently and was surprised with 500 balloons, almost 3 feet high filling her office -- Diane and Casey who were partying it up at Disney World for Thanksgiving break:

Congrats and much love to all of you ... and much thanks and love to everyone who has sent me pictures to post. I'll try to get to them all but it'll prolly take some time since I can only do a few at a time. From the bottom of my heart, thank you all again! XO

And lastly, much, Much, MUCH love goes out to the very sweet Natalie Maines from the Dixie Chicks for sending me this absolutely awesome picture of her backstage at their taping at Austin City Limits (pictured with our friend in common, Dean) this week:

Natalie has been showing Pink is the new Blog all kinds of love from the concert stage for the past couple of weeks and I couldn't be more thrilled about it. This picture is just icing on the cake. Much love to you Natalie, Emily and Martie for all the awesome LURVE you've been sending my way. XOXOXO

Les News:
Yesterday turned out to be a pretty cool day ... David and I were scheduled to do an interview together last night and at the last minute I was feeling so unpretty that I just wasn't in the mood. Once I realized the interview was with Suchin Pak (MTV VJ/Newscaster extraordinaire) then I perked my ass right up and got all excited. We had such a great little chat ... which I believe will be available for viewing in early January. Here is a cute picture of Suchin with David and me:

I have been such a fan of Suchin since the day she started at MTV so it was quite a thrill to get to sit down and talk with her. She was great ... very sincere, easy to talk to and was just really fun to be around. I had the best time!

After our interview was finished, and after a quick sushi dinner, David and I met up with a whole bunch of his friends for poker night! I know ... poker night? Yeah, well apparently there is a sect of the gays that like to drink beer and play poker and that's who we hung out with last night. I opted out of play (since I don't know shizz about poker) but David ended up coming in third at the night's end. It was really fun just hanging out with the guys.

Today, David and I are off to do some NYC shopping which will be fun cuz it's NYC shopping but will prolly be a bit trying since it's NYC shopping in the freezing cold. Eh, what're ya gonna do?

Hope y'all are having a great weekend ... I am out!
