Mama M.I.A.

I figured I'd pass along the friendly warning so that no other innocent rent-a-cops will fall victim to Shia's evil machinations. Beware. [Source]
Last night, OUT magazine threw its annual OUT 100 Awards party at Cipriani Wall Street in NYC last night so that a Who's Who of gay friendlies could get together to honor the folks who made the OUT 100 list this year ... oh yeah and there was an open bar as well.

Not only were Jennifer Hudson, Marc Jacobs and his boy, Annie Lennox and Mya in the hiz but my boo David and his Queerty editor Andrew were as well. Pink reader Robin was also in attendance at last night's affair and she sent in a pic that she got with the amazing Tim Gunn. Any event that celebrates not only the gays but the straights who support the gays is ace in my book. From the looks and sounds of it ... it was quite a fun night all around. [Source, thanks Robin]
Here are a couple photos of the London police breaking into the home of the drama-prone Amy Winehouse and her skinny hubby Blake Civil-Fielder and then a couple photos of the same police leading Blake away in handcuffs as a teary Amy looks on. Blake was not arrested due to any drugs charges (surprisingly enough) but was picked up by the cops on suspicion that he has been "perverting justice". Um, yeah.
Tearful Amy, 24, was "devastated" as her 25-year-old husband was led from the dock at Thames Magistrates Court, East London, to start his stay at Pentonville jail. Immediately afterwards she told her mother-in-law Georgette Civil, 42: "I want Blake home. I love him and I can't live without him." Amy, accompanied by her father Mitch, stood at the back of the court next to the glass dividing the public gallery and the dock throughout the hearing. Wearing a black top and grey pencil skirt --and sporting her trademark beehive - she blew Fielder-Civil kisses and repeatedly mouthed "I love you" when her husband turned around and smiled at her. But as District Judge John Perkins ruled her husband must stay in custody, she suddenly looked distraught and momentarily turned her head away from the courtroom ... Amy's husband is one of five men arrested in two days on suspicion of perverting justice in relation to a court case set for tomorrow at Snaresbrook. The charge alleges he conspired with a witness in the case, in which he faces a grievous bodily harm accusations. A judge will decide tomorrow if the assault case will go ahead ... On Thursday night Winehouse flung her arms around her husband in a last desperate embrace. "Baby, I love you...baby, I'll be fine," Amy Winehouse sobbed before her junkie husband was bundled into an unmarked police car. The dramatic scenes unfolded as Fielder-Civil was arrested for alleged involvement in a plot to fix a trial for £200,000. The bombshell claims against him plunged the already troubled singer into renewed turmoil. But she has said she is standing by her man. This has got to be the most bizarre thing ever. Witness tampering would be the last criminal charge that I would ever guess someone like Blake Civil-Fielder would be involved with. I'm not sure that I really understand it all but ... these days, nothing whatsoever surprises me about the trouble that celebs get themselves into. [Source]
Here are a few photos of Christian Bale, his Batman co-star Morgan Freeman and their director Chris Nolan at a press conference and on the set of The Dark Knight which is currently filming in Hong Kong:
I'm sure our friends in the far East can appreciate all the hawtness that Christian Bale has brought to their fair country. Right now, there are spoilers galore going around concerning the new movie ... specifically involving The Joker and his introduction to the storyline. I am staying as far away from all mention of Dark Knight spoilers because I feel that we've already seen and heard way too much. The info is out there if you're interested (you can start looking at SuperHero Hype) but I am going to stay away. I'm content checking out the hot photos of Christian Bale, tho :) [Source, Source]
In more hot news, here are a couple of VERY interesting photos of David Beckham getting up close and personal with an opponent on the soccer field during a recent soccer match:
I'm not exactly sure when this game took place and I really have no idea why Becks is pulling on the front crotch-area of the lad's skimpy soccer shorts but I do know that I am INSANELY jealous. Le sigh. [Source]
Keepin' the hot daddy mojo going, here is a new picture of DILF Guy Ritchie carrying his newest son David Banda around Londontown this week:

Guy has a rugged cuteness about him and seeing him with his kids only makes him all that more endearing. I never knew I had a thing for daddy types but I guess you learn something new every day. [Source]
One thing I definitely do know is that I am NOT a fan of skimpy bathing suits that cling to their wearer when the wearer is someone like the weeeeeasel Pauly Shore. Here are a few scary pics of Pauly on vacay with his girlfriend in Hawaii:

OY! I *so* do not want. And the smoking on the beach only makes him look all the more sexy. Crimes like this should be punishable by law ... with death. Yikes! [Source]
Now ... I don't even know what to make of these pics of the British pop group McFly who are engaged in the act of burning their pubic hair on the stage at G-A-Y in London:
I can't tell if these pics are hot or not ... in fact, I'm having a hard time coming up with an appropriate response altogether. Anyone? [Source]
Aussie and honorary Britboy Darren Hayes is here in the States doing promo work for his newest album, the double disc This Delicate Thing We've Made, as he was in town here in LA last night for an in-store appearance at Borders Booksellers. My friend Jim ventured out to see Darren perform and sign autographs and he sent me these pics:
I'm so bummed I couldn't make it to the in-store appearance last night since I already had tickets to see M.I.A. at The Wiltern but Jim assures me that Darren was amazing. Darren included one of Jim's favorite songs in his setlist (the song Casey) and stayed for 3-hours after his acoustic set so that he could make sure that every person who came out to see him got an autograph. I'm not surprised tho, Darren Hayes has always been so generous to his fans. I really wish I could've seen him live myself. [thanks Jim & Karen]
In a bit of sad news, it appears that the love is definitely gone from the famed supercouple Leichen now that Lance Bass is speaking out publicly about his relationship with ex-boyfriend Reichen Lehmkuhl. Queerty is reporting that Reichen is now on the legal defensive against his former lover over, what I consider, innocent comments that Lance made about Reichen in recent magazine interviews. It's unclear if anything of substance will come from this new animosity but it appears that things are just getting started in the case of Reichen vs. Lance:
Lance Bass may have found himself a new man, but his drama with ex-beau Reichen Lehmkuhl reportedly continues. The current issue of tab-rag Star claims that Reichen, who Bass dated post-coming out, threatened to sue Bass for some unflattering commentary. Heidi Parker writes:
Star has learned exclusively that the Amazing Race winner sent a letter to Lance's rep on October 25 that threatened to sue the pop singer, claiming his remarks in the November issue of GQ were defamatory. In the interview, the ex 'NSYNC-er claims Reichen cheated on him, adding: "I thought, 'Why does everyone hate him?' At the end, I was like, 'Ok, everyone was right.'" These comments angered Reichen so much that the actor's attorney allegedly wrote to Lance's rep, saying "demand is made that Mr. Bass immediately cease and desist commenting on our client. In the event that Mr. Bass declines ... you are advised that we expressly reserve the right to address the circumstances in the appropriate forum in the appropriate time."
Um, seriously? I get that an ex-boyfriend might get rubbed the wrong way when a former lover airs their dirty laundry in public but I haven't read anything that Lance has said about Reichen that warrants this level of overreaction. Reichen is newly attached with a megahot boyfriend and he should just move on and be happy in his new circumstance. Why can't all the gays just get along? [Source]
John Krasinski is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Men's Health magazine ... here are a few pics from his photospread:
I absolutely love the vintage, classic look of these pics. John is the perfect nerdy cute/lanky sort of fellow to make a photoshoot like this just work. I always thought he'd be the perfect person to be cast as Richie Cunningham should the 70's sitcom set in the 50's Happy Days ever be resurrected. [Source]
Here are a couple pics from the ongoing Writer's Stike as it enters Day Six. Striking union members flooded the streets in Century City outside the Fox Studios lot in order to disrupt traffic in a show of force ... and then a couple pics of Alyson Hannigan, in her cute little SoCal Winter outfit, who decided to join the ranks of the strikers as well outside the CBS Studios lot as well:

Support for the strike is growing by the day ... but how long until talks can resume ... and then how long til a resolution can be agreed upon? Yes, I'm pretty sure it's gonna be a long while yet. [Source]

I am not kidding you when I say YOU must see this woman perform live and in person. She is utterly amazing. She manages to whip up the crowd into a crazed frenzy of happiness and revelry. She just rules. Here is a short vid clip of M.I.A. performing her song Jimmy:
And a short clip of her song Galang:
These clips and pics do not do her live show justice. At one point she pulled half the audience up on stage to dance with her ... it was just a really kick ass concert.
Tonight, I'm going to the Greek Theater to see Evanescence with Darion and Kirsten ... so that should be fun. I love lazy weekends :) I'm out.
