Like, A Virgin

Woot! David arrived here in LA last night about 9pm and as soon as we got back to my place we got right down to biznazz ... which, of course, means that we watched TV on the couch until we passed out for the night -- ain't love grand? I'm so glad that he will be here for a few days :)

This morning Hilary Duff was live on air with Ryan Seacrest here in LA on KIIS FM to exclusively debut her new song With Love off her new album. She revealed that the album will be titled Dignity.

When asked why she decided to name the album Dignity she replied, "Dignity is something you don't just have, you have to work on having it." She did her best to not talk about her break-up with Joel Madden but Ryan kept pressing her ... she did reveal that they are "still friends" and that they still "keep in touch" which is good to hear (she also confessed that she has only gone on one date with someone since the break-up). The song With Love is the same song used in the commercial for her fragrance of the same name and is pretty dancey. She also revealed that the album isn't finished yet; that she has one song left to finish before she's done with the album. It was a cute interview ... not very salacious but we did get to hear her new song in its entirety ... which was pretty cool. [Source]

Over in Paris, Fashion Week (Haute Couture edition) rages on and Katie Holmes is doing her best to be seen at all the hottest showings (both with and without her BFF Victoria Beckham). Truth be told ... she is lookin' good these days. Here are a few pictures of Katie showin' off her hot legs (and almost showing off more than that) as she makes her way to the Giorgio Armani show:

Yo, I gots ta call it likes I sees it and Katie looks pretty damn good in this white dress ... even if she's wearing a girdle underneath. Maybe I've been wrong all along ... maybe her faux child and loving marriage to Tom Cruise really were good for her. OR, maybe even brainwashed beauties can get it right sometimes. In any regard, Katie looks great. [Source, thanks Liz]

Speaking of looking great ... that is exactly what Victoria Beckham, in her endless quest to try and appear humanlike, looks like at the Jean Paul Gaultier show at Paris Fashion Week:

Note the elegant curve of her arm in that second picture ... she looks just like a Barbie doll. I'm always amazed at how lifelike wax statues of her look and how unlifelike she actually looks herself. [Source]

The Jean Paul Galtier show looks like it was pretty fun ... especially since Dita von Teese was one of the models on the runway:

She looks lovely. Dita was made to wear Gaultier designs. Incidentally, Jean Paul revealed that he originally intended to dress Madonna as the Virgin Mary (which is a prominent motif in his new collection) for her Confessions Tour last year but Madonna opted to go for the Jesus Christ look instead. Jean Paul Gaultier is an amazing designer. He can do over-the-top crazy and still make it cool. I'm such a fan of his stuff. [Source]

Over in Park City, UT, Evan Rachel Wood (the pretender to Dita von Teese's throne) is doing her best to look the part of the new Mrs. Marilyn Manson ... which of course means that she's doing her best to look like Dita von Teese:

Blah! I'm totally Team Dita ... especially since ERW just looks like a sad blonde clone of DvT. You'd think that MM would be more interested in dating someone who looked a bit different from the wife he is now divorcing. I really hope that DvT could care less that MM is fraternizing with ERW especially since the whole matter is total BS. [Source]

Justin Timberlake, Christina Ricci and Samuel L. Jackson were all on hand for the Sundance premiere of their new movie Black Snake Moan ... here are a few pics from the red carpet:

I dunno how I feel about this Justin Timberlake: Actor thing that's going on. I have zero interest in seeing his straight-to-video debut movie Edison and have yet to consider seeing Alpha Dogs (now playing in theaters) but I am intrigued by this new movie -- mainly because Samuel L. Jackson is THE man. I'm reserving judgment of JT's acting skills until he has a few movies under his belt. OH and it was nice to see that Christina showed up furless. Yeah, it's about time some real celebs made their way to Sundance ... I was getting tired of seeing Dustin Diamond all over the place. [Source]

Speaking of real celebs at Sundance, here are a couple pictures of Gwyneth Paltrow roaming the streets of Park City where she's there to promote her new movie The Good Night:

Obviously being photographed on the streets at Sundance is just as important promo work for your movie as showing up to the film's premiere. Eh, I'm pretty much over Sundance already ... isn't it about time for something else for us to marginally care about for a few days to come along? [Source]

Now Brangelina is something that we can marginally care about over and over and over again depending on what new thing they've got going on ... like their relocation to New Orleans. Here are a few extremely uninteresting pictures of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt getting into their mid-priced sedan in their new hometown:

The folks were at the Ecole Bilingue de la Nouvelle-Orleans which is where Maddox Jolie-Pitt is now attending bilingual classes to pick up the little scamp. Egads ... it seems that Brangelina have moved to New Orleans to wither away as suburbanites. It won't be long til Angie is baking cookies for the PTA and Braddy will be coaching Little League. Couldn't you just puke on your shoes? [Source]

Here are a few pictures from a listening party in Miami, FL where Jennifer Lopez previewed tracks off her new Spanish-language album Como Ama Una Mujer which is due out in stores on April 3rd ... with that cute little bun and those ridiculous earrings you can plainly see that La Diva Latina was in full effect:

And with those sunken eyes and pallid color you can also plainly see that hubby Marc Anthony still suffers from a lack of, er, life. From what I'm hearing, this new music is great tho I wonder how well it will do in here in the US. I am a big fan of Paulina Rubio, Shakira and Selena but you hardly ever get to hear their Spanish music in the mainstream media here. If anyone can break thru with Spanish music it's J. Lo so I guess we'll see if she's able to make a dent with this new album. [Source]

Here are a few really super cute pictures of Gwen Stefani and baby boy Kingston James as they emerge from their London home yesterday afternoon:

Sooo cute! I love the little hat that Kingston is wearing ... Gwen's pants, notsomuch ... but still, they really make a cute pair. [Source]

Can someone please tell me what George Lucas (yeah, that George Lucas) is doing shopping at Kitson Men?

I somehow have a hard time seeing Mr. Lucas wearing Billionaire Boys Club or Antik Denim. [Source]

Madonna is slowly unveiling her new M by Madonna line from H&M (which is due out this year) by first showing up in public wearing a pair of M sunglasses and then releasing the first promo picture for the line:

I have a feeling that this new clothing line is going to be much more successful than her tracksuit venture with H&M was last year (did anyone but her ever wear those things?). Those glasses look hot ... shoot, I'd even wear a pair myself. The promo pic looks very chic (it's reminiscent of her promo shots for Versace in 2005) and was shot by Steven Klein (who shot most of her Confessions on a DanceFloor promo materials). I guess we'll see if Maddy sinks or swims as a fashion designer but, if this early peek is any indication, I'm pretty sure she'll have much more success with H&M this time around. [Source]

J.P. Calderon, who was featured for about 15 seconds on Survivor: Cook Islands before he got voted off for being obnoxious, is featured on the cover of the new Swimsuit issue of Instinct magazine. In the cover story, J.P. officially comes out of the closet as a gay man. Additionally, J.P. is currently appearing on the Oxygen network reality show The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency as one of the new models this season and his Instinct cover shoot was featured on last night's episode:

J.P. candidly reveals to Instinct that it was the death of his father that inspired him to start living life on his own terms, "It wasn't until last year when my dad died that I did Survivor, I said yes to Janice Dickinson, to [Instinct]. I'm coming out and I'm living." I am always so happy when someone bravely comes out of the closet in such a public manner ... especially when they're a hottie. There were rumors that J.P. was dating Brad Virata who was also on Survivor: Cook Islands but it's unclear if that is still going on (or even if it was true at all). In any regard, I wish J.P. much luck working with Janice Dickinson ... I'm sure coming out of the closet is the least of his worries now ;) [Source]

And finally, Adam Brody paid a little visit to the Philips Sonicare "Smooch or Smile" Booth (where Philips will make a donation to fund reconstructive facial surgery for one child for each celeb who stopped by to take pictures) at the Sundance Film Festival ... and here are his pictures:

I know, I know ... I said I was over all things Sundance but I had to make an exception for Adam Brody ... these pictures are just too cute to not share. [Source]

Les News:
So, a great many of you who visited the site yesterday were prolly met with a horrible error screen altering you to the fact that the site was down because of a "server error" or "due to maintenance" ...

... which seems to be a problem now that I'm using the new version of Blogger (especially during peak times). I have been using Blogger ever since PITNB was created and have loved utilizing its easy of use and simplicity. But, I think it's finally time for an upgrade. I'm working with people to revamp the site a little and will very soon be moving it to my own server space. I'm not exactly sure when this will actually happen (I'm shooting for sooner rather than later) so be on the lookout for a bit of a change around here. I'm excited and a bit nervous ... I hate making big changes like this but ... I guess the time has finally come.

So yeah ... David is here with me for a few days and I'm not sure if we're going to be doing anything crazy ... just a lot of hanging out together. The weather is pretty nice here in LA so I'm thinking that we may have to go out and enjoy it today.

And that is all ... I'm out.
