Back Again
The pair drove down to Rosarito, Mexico for a quick little jaunt but either got bored or just decided to come on back home again ... one of their first stops once they got back into the country was in Encino, CA (which, coincidentally, is Kevin Federline's hometown) before hitting up Taverna Tony's in Malibu, CA. Yeah, at this point I have no idea what the game plan is ... if there even is one. Perhaps the happy couple are just flitting about doing whatever it is that tickles their fancy whenever it gets tickled. I fully expect some new big flurry of movement very soon ... someone's going to make a dramatic move -- will the Spears family zero in and attack or will Britney and Adnan preemptively evade capture? At this point ... it's anyone's game. I just really hope she is adequately preparing for her big day in court next Monday. [Source, Source]
OH and speaking of Kevin Federline ... The CW is beginning to promote the upcoming episode where K-Fed himself makes his debut as a character on the show One Tree Hill. Here are a few screencaps from a promo video uploaded by The CW that seems to introduce K-Fed to the show:
Uhhhh ... apparently, K-Fed has hung up his rappin' skillz and has decided to try on a rocker stance for this new role. For some ungodly reason, The CW thinks that his addition to the show will get people to want to watch the show? This tactic might work in the short term, you know -- folks tuning in to watch the man make a fool of himself, but I dunno that this is a particularly wise move on their part. I mean, seriously, how can anyone take this lame-o seriously? I used to think that that cheesey Nationwide Insurance commercial starring K-Fed as a fast food employee (that aired during the Super Bowl last year) were the most embarrassing thing he's ever done on video ... I think we know have a new winner. [Source]
Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter and Tim Burton took their bloody party to London last night for the UK premiere of their newest movie Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. Here are a few pics from the blood red carpet last night:

Pretty much everyone was lookin' pretty fly last night ... including Helena who didn't necessarily look like death warmed over ... and especially Mark Ronson who has a hard time looking bad -- ever. As I mentioned before, I quite liked the film but I wasn't wowed by it like many others were. I'm very interested to see how Londoners take to this movie ... I think it may do well there. In NYC, the Disney musical version of The Little Mermaid had its official opening at the Lunt-Fontanne Theater on Broadway last night. Altho the show has been playing in previews for the past few weeks (ever since the Broadway Strike ended last month) last night was its official red carpet opening night. Here are a few pics from the show's curtain call and from the red carpet:

Yeah, the opening was pretty light on celebs but the show is now officially underway. David and I had tickets to see the show last month but our performance was cancelled due to the strike ... in fact, our performance was the last performance to be cancelled due to the strike (they reached an agreement that night and the show resumed the next night). Since then, we've not been able to get reasonable tickets to see the show again. We hear from David's friend Shane that the show is just OK ... but I still want to see it for myself. I must admit, tho, that I'm not all that impressed with the way that Ursula the Sea Witch looks in costume ... she's neither purple nor BIG enough, IMHO. But, I shall reserve judgment until I'm able to see the show for myself. [Source]
In other Broadway news, Kerry Butler and Cheyenne Jackson, the lead stars of the AMAZING Broadway show Xanadu were on hand with a few other cast members to perform and sign autographs at the Barnes & Noble in Lincoln Center in NYC last night. Here are a couple pics from their in-store performance:

The Original Broadway Cast Recording of Xanadu on Broadway was released this past Tuesday and the cast came out last night to promote the release. Can I just tell you, I downloaded the album from iTunes as soon as it became available and I just love it. The show is soooooo freaking good ... I really need to see the show again, especially after getting to hear all of the songs again (and again and again) on the soundtrack. Trust me, get yourself out to NYC and see this show live on stage ASAP ... but if you can't, make sure you check out the soundtrack -- it's almost like being here except with a lot less roller-skating (and a lot less of Cheyenne Jackson's luscious thighs). OMG ... can it possibly be? Is Jessica Alba actually smiling in these photos? 'Tis true folks, Jessica and babydaddy Cash Warren were both all smiles at the Glamour Magazine V Day Luncheon which was held here in LA yesterday afternoon. Check it ... Jessica is also wearing a very maternityesque dress which looks very nice on her ... no wonder she thinks that being pregs is "awesome":

With fiancé Cash Warren by her side, Jessica Alba can't help gushing about her impending baby joy. "It's awesome," she told PEOPLE Thursday in L.A. at Glamour magazine's kickoff for V-Day's 10th Anniversary. "It's the best time ever. I have two movies coming out, a baby, a fiancé – everything." The 26-year-old actress, who's due in early spring or late summer, said the pregnancy has been smooth so far. But, she admitted, "I'm more tired, more hungry than normal." Alba – who also recently announced her engagement to longtime boyfriend Warren, 28, the baby's father – also said she's enjoying a rare break from acting. "I don't know if anyone wants me in their movies [when I'm] six months pregnant," she joked. "I'll get the fire and I'll want to work again, but right now it's a time to relax and sit back." For now, the actress is focused on a more personal project: "I bought a new house a couple weeks ago. I'm in nesting phase."
Granted, the poor girl still doesn't have a bump to speak of but she does look so lovely when she's smiling. Pregnancy really does seem to agree with her :) [Source]
Here are a couple pictures of Orlando Bloom who is back in Nepal for another goodwill trip sponsored by UNICEF ... these pics are from his visit to the Sayapatri Community Organization in the village of Dibyanagar yesterday:
This is Orlando's second trip to Nepal in only the last few months and it clearly show that he is committed to fulfilling the role and all the duties that come along with his role as an international ambassador for the United Nations Children's Fund. I'm telling you, philanthropy looks really hot on some folks. I love it. [Source]
Now that Pete Wentz's broke foot seems to have FINALLY healed (well, mostly healed -- he appears to still be wearing a brace or something on his ankle) it is time for he and his his lovely lady Ashlee Simpson to get their vacation on for reals. Here are a few sexy swimsuit pics of Ashl33n as they sun their buns in Costa Rica this week:
I love me some Pete but he looks so out of place, 1.) in that bathing suit and 2.) just generally in the sun. But, I guess even moody emos need to catch some UV every once in a while. They look happy and relaxed ... I'm so glad that things are going so well with them. [Source]
Larry Birkhead is so desperate to be noticed that the poor guy has taken to shopping at Kitson just to get a little lurve from the paps:
Mind you, Kitson does have its own men’s' store right up the block but the paparazzi doesn't tend to stake that place out ... it looks as if Larry didn't want to take any chances and avoid detection. I'm telling you, Larry my boy, not even every single shopping bag from Kitson is going to make you a Hollywood "It" Girl. Your best bet is to wait until your daughter Dannielynn Hope Marshall Smith
In case you were wondering ...

Jim Caviezel is hot. Yeah, I get surprised every time I see pictures of him, too. [Source]
Here are a couple of pictures of Halle Berry from the inside photospread in the new issue of In Style magazine:
Lovely bump out and in the open. She looks amazing ... and I can't wait to see what a beauty her baby will turn out to be, especially when you take into account how hot the model babydaddy is. We are on the verge of a celebrity baby explosion, y'all. They're gonna all start popppin' out any day now. [Source]
And finally, here are new photos of Victoria Beckham as the newest model for Marc Jacobs:
I would *love* to shake the hand of the person who came up with the idea to shove Vicki B. into a shopping bag. I mean, in the grand scope of brilliant ideas (sliced bread, porn, DVR ...) this has to rank in the top 3. Absolutely brills ... do they give out Academy Awards for this sort of work? Cuz, someone really deserves a handsome trophy. Loves it! [Source]

I have to give a shout out to Pink readers Hayley (who I met near the Promenade) and Ryan (who I met at It's A Grind). It was very nice getting to say hello to you both.
Also, I learned that if you wear a pair of purple and yellow LA Lakers edition Adidas shoes you garner a lot of compliments in this town. I think I got stopped at least 6 times by people who either liked or commented on my shoes ... and they were all dudes. Granted, they were straight dudes (after all, I don't think gay guys say things like "Nice kicks") but attention from men is never a bad thing.
This afternoon I have a date with the cast of The Real World: Hollywood so I'm a bit nervous/excited. Remember, I'll be posting a few pics directly online to www.pinkismypicturetown.com wireless from my new Nikon camera ... so long as I can get the thing to work ;) I played with it last night and I think I got it all set up properly. I'm not sure how many pics we'll be allowed to snap but I'm gonna take as many as I can.
Have a great weekend, y'all ... I am OUT.
