On The Way Oout
Here is another picture of Britney Spears out with her father and legal conservator Jamie Spears as they made their way home from their night on the town this weekend after having dinner together on Saturday night at Social Hollywood in LA:
Britney Spears spent Saturday night with dad. The singer, 26, and her father Jamie - whose co-conservatorship over her was recently extended until March 10 — hit Hollywood restaurant Social Hollywood shortly before 8 p.m. She wore diamond earrings and a chocolate brown dress with spaghetti straps; her father carried her fur coat for her. They spent more than two hours dining before calling it a night. Though Spears' relationship with her father appears to be improving, one celeb says she wouldn't mind taking over parenting duties for the troubled pop singer. "She can call me and come live in our house with us for a couple of months," Heidi Klum says in a new interview with German broadcaster ARD. "I would help set her straight. I am sorry when a young person gets thrown so off track," Klum says, according to a transcript obtained by the Associated Press. "She has, of course, lived an extremely wild life."
It is so interesting that so many people want to take care of Britney ... despite the fact that there are legions of haters out there, there is a strong contingent of folks who not only feel for our dear Britney but also claim to want to step in and actively provide help. Irregardless of whether or not Heidi Klum is being serious with this offer to help Britney, I think it says a lot that she would even go on the record and say such a thing. It's so fascinating that so may people just want to help her. [Source]
In other Spearsness, here are a couple new photos of mom-to-be Jamie Lynn Spears pumpin' some gas in her car and showing off the first signs of what looks to be an emerging baby bump:
First off, shouldn't the very strapping babydaddy Casey Aldridge be there to pump the gas for JL? Clearly, he had better things to do. Poor Jamie-Lynn looks so over it already ... it's gonna be a long pregnancy for her ... I doubt she's gonna find much joy in all the scrutiny that is coming her way but -- it comes with the territory. I still find it a bit sad that she's just Britney's 16-year old baby sister and she's already starting to show signs of her pregnancy. It's still gonna take some getting used to ... but this baby will be here before we know it. [Source]
Madonna, who spent part of last week debuting her first directed movie Filth and Wisdom at a film festival in Berlin, Germany, has made her way to LA with her littlest traveling companion. Here are a few pics of Madge with little David Banda as they made their arrival at LAX airport yesterday:

At this point, it's unclear if Madonna is in town for work or pleasure but I suspect (as is always the case with her) that it's prolly a little of both. I'm glad she brought along David Banda with her ... it's been a while since we've gotten to see him out. He's already getting so big ... it might be time for Maddy to start thinking about procuring her next young'n. [Source]
Jonathan Rhys-Meyers was on hand this weekend at the Irish Film And Television Awards which were held at the Gaiety Theatre in Dublin, Ireland this weekend ... here are a couple photos of JRM posing with his Best Actor in Television Award which is but one of the record breaking 7 awards that was won at the awards show by JRM's Showtime drama The Tudors:

Television period drama The Tudors stole the show at the Irish Film and Television Awards (IFTAs) when it won in a record seven categories. Jonathan Rhys Meyers was honoured for his performance in the hit series with an award for best actor in a television drama lead role. Co-stars Maria Doyle Kennedy and Nick Dunning also picked up IFTAs while The Tudors scooped best drama series. Another three awards at the ceremony in Dublin's Gaiety Theatre made the drama about the life of King Henry VIII the most successful in the event's five year history.
Despite the man's creepy-as-hell stare, I really do like JRM's work. The Tudors is only the latest project that I love him in. We all know that he's been thru a very tough time of it lately (since falling off the wagon upon hearing news of his mother's passing) but here's hoping that he's able to stabilize and get his life back on track. I would assume that winning accolades like this from your professional peers goes a long way in making one feel better about things. [Source]
OY ... as if we haven't been tortured enough by Paris Hilton in recent weeks she had to go and take our torture to the next level. For some reason, she was under the impression that the world was interested in seeing what she looks like as a Pussycat Doll ... and this is what we get for it:

Blah. It's bad enough that she had to go an pilfer Dita von Teese's sexy champagne dance routine ... but it got even worse as the night dragged on:

Was it really necessary for Paris to mug a tranny callgirl of her outfit (think about it, how else would she be able to find these tacky-ass shoes in such a large size?) just so that she could make a fool of herself on stage? I mean, I guess we gotta give her props for her fearlessness ... she can't seriously have thought that 1.) this look was sexy and 2.) that people would actually like it ... right? Oh Paris, you are such a minx. [Source]
I'm telling you ... there is nothing sexier than a woman like Amy Winehouse who goes after what she wants ... even if that "something" is a bucket of chicken from KFC ...
... tho, I could really do without the nasty cig hanging from her mouth. Waitaminute, did I say sexier? I meant scarier ... sorry. [Source]
Pink readers Victoria & Heather and Holly were among the folks who were able to see the Spice Girls at the Chicago stop on their Reunion Tour this weekend ... and they were kind enough to send in a few really cute pics from the show to share:
I have to say ... it's really cute when the Spice Moms bring out their kiddies on stage. Pink reader Holly writes:
I don't know if this happens at every show or not, but for the song "Mama," Emma, Mel B, and Victoria brought our their children. (Bluebell was MIA) Right before the song started, Victoria just starts crying!
OMG ... crying?! That's really something ... and no, I don't think it happens at every show. The finality of the end of the tour must be triggering a deeply embedded emotion chip inside our favorite robot. Pink reader Victoria confirms that VB cried during the show (again, at a different point in the show) and also relays a ridiculous run-in with the Beckham security:
We were sitting 4th row and we were super excited. Heather stood up to take a picture of the stage just before the girls were about to go on and immediately after snapping the photo, one of Victoria Beckham's security team gets in her face accused her of taking pictures of the kids. She asked what kids and then we looked up and noticed that all the Spice babies and their nannies are sitting in the front row. The security guy then demanded to see her photo. She showed him and because little Brooklyn or Romeo or whatever that other kid's name is, head was in the corner of the picture he made her delete it. It was totally pointless because later during the concert all the kids got up on stage and got a zillion pictures taken of them. At one point during the concert Victoria cried. There is short set in the concert where Geri was off stage while the girls performed "Holler," the single they put out after she quit the group. After that Geri returned to the stage and for a few minutes all the girls held hands and stood silent. It was during this time Victoria began to cry. She couldn't stop crying and she and Geri embraced each other for a few moments. It was really sweet.
Hmm ... I would have a huge problem if some security thug not connected with the venue itself came up to me and demanded anything like this of me -- on what authority can they demand to see anything ... or force someone to delete a photo? Victoria is right, if they had such a problem with people taking pictures of the kids then they shouldn't be parading them around on stage. And again with the crying ... I don't really know what to make of it all. I think I'd have to see the tears streaming from her eye sockets myself ... otherwise, I might assume the poor dear had just sprung an oil leak instead. [thanks Victoria O & Heather and Holly]
Everyone's fave actress ingénue Ellen Page is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Interview magazine:
She is a really pretty girl ... but I don't think these photos really show that fact. It looks like she's trying too hard in each photo. I think I like her best when she looks more like herself. [Source]
Hayden Christensen is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Details magazine:
These are really great pics ... I'm still very intrigued to see if Jumper is any good. His movies are very hit or miss, I think ... I hope this one is a passable hit. [Source]
And finally ... here is a short video clip that is way full of too much fierceness:
Work.it.out.
And so ... that is all on the goss front from Amsterdam. I realize that this post is sort for a Monday but there is so much going on today that I didn't have that much time to do a lot of work. David and I never really got on the right sleeping schedule ... we kept waking up at odd hours thruout our whole stay. We are going to try and do a few more things before we have to fly out later on today ... I'm still hoping that there will be bike-riding to be had.
I will post one last quick blogpost a bit later on with a few personal pics from yesterday ... we had a really great anniversary day ... and a really amazing trip overall.
I'm out.
