The Spears Boys Reunion Tour

Yesterday afternoon TMZ reported that a deal had been struck in the ongoing court case dealing with Britney Spears and her involvement with her children that resulted in the court's approval to let Brit Brit spend some time with her children, Sean Preston and Jayden James, in a therapeutic, monitored setting. Much of the credit for this new development goes to Papa Jamie Spears, father and conservator of Britney. This morning, after many weeks of separation from her children, People magazine reports that Britters was allowed to spend some time with her estranged sons:

This from TMZ: TMZ has learned Britney Spears has won her visitation rights back -- with strings attached. We're told lawyers for both sides have hashed out a deal in which Britney will get visitation in a therapeutic setting. Commish Scott Gordon has signed off on the agreement. It's a deal more than a week in the making. The parties had agreed in principle last weekend to a deal but it fell apart in court last Tuesday. We're also told K-Fed is down with Britney seeing the kids again.

The kids can visit with momma, provided Jamie Spears and her psychiatrist are present. There are other strings, but at a minimum Jamie and the shrink are required. We're told both sides are impressed that Jamie has stabilized Britney and the whirlwind surrounding her crazy life, and that's a core reason why a deal was struck.

This from People: Britney Spears was reunited with her sons Saturday. After lawyers for Spears and Kevin Federline reached a visitation agreement Friday, the pop star saw her children Preston, 2, and Jayden, 1, for the first time since Jan. 3. The boys left Federline's Tarzana house Saturday morning – put in their car seats by their father, according to photographers – and were driven by Federline's bodyguard to Spear's Studio City home. A source involved in the case says, "The real hero was [Spears's father] Jamie. He has taken charge, and she has visitation again." Sources confirm to PEOPLE that Jamie and Britney's psychiatrist were present for the visit.

This is phenomenal news! I think Papa Jamie Spears deserves huge congrats for managing to be an effectively positive force in Britney's life ... tho, I suppose much credit goes to the medical staff at UCLA as well. There has been such a huge change in Britney's life since her admittance into the UCLA medical facility recently ... it would seem to me that they were able to detoxify and possibly medicate her enough so that she can act in a somewhat normal manner. Having her father in her life has done wonders for her already ... sure, she's still very happy to go out in public sans underwear (and flashing the photogs with her bare crotch) but, for the most part, she seems to have gotten her act together. I can imagine what a positive experience it might be for Britney to get to see her kids again. I really hope she takes the opportunity to cherish this time with her children. If she can continue to stay un-crazy, then she should be able to spend a lot more time with her kids very soon. Yay! This is such great news!! [Source]

The Spice Girls Reunion Tour is dunzo ... er, at least the US portion of the tour is finished -- the ladies have a few more Canadian dates left to play before the whole tour is finished for good. Les Spices played their final US show EVER at the at the Hartford XL Center in Hartford, CT and Pink reader Heather was in the hiz last night to tell the tale:

Heather writes: I was at last nights show at the Hartford XL Center for the Spice Girls ... and they put on a great show!! It was the last U.S show of the tour, and although it was an awesome show you could tell the girls were ready to be done. It seemed like Victoria distanced herself from the girls, some people threw stuffed animals on the stage and all the girls were talking about what animals they got while Victoria was standing off to the side of the stage by herself and gave her stuffed animals to her boys, which were sitting in the front row of the catwalk with TONS of security. Towards the end Scary let the crowd know that this was the last time we would seem them to a tour together. Even though my seats weren't that good ... it was still an excellent show!

I'm actually quite surprised that the Spice Girls would be so tired of touring after only doing it for about 3 months. Officially they say that their Reunion Tour had to end because of their commitments to their families and, one some level, I believe that is true ... but it also seems like they have grown tired of performing and are ready to put an end to it all once and for all. The ladies have a couple of shows left to play in Toronto, CA before their very last show on Tuesday night. [Source]

In related news, David Beckham is still spending his time in Honolulu, HI this weekend where he is with his team the LA Galaxy for the Pan-Pacific Championship soccer tournament ... here are a couple new pics of a dejected looking Becks as he walks the streets of Honolulu:

Poor Becksie ... he looks so bummed that his team lost their first pre-season soccer game this year against Japan's Gamba Osaka team this past Wednesday night. He looks like he could use a hug. Unfortch for him, I'm SO OVER plane rides for the foreseeable future otherwise I might have to get my buns down there and hug that sad face right off him. Ah well. [Source]

In busted news, R&B crooner Ne-Yo got himself arrested in Georgia recently and news of his bust has finally made its way here to the West Coast. On the plus side, Ne-Yo wasn't arrested for anything as heinous as DUI or drug possession ... he was merely busted for driving like a crazy person without a license ... here is his mug:

TMZ has learned that R&B singer Ne-Yo, aka Shaffer Smith, was popped on Feb. 19 while driving through Cobb County, Georgia ... Cops pulled Ne-Yo after they observed him driving well over 100 mph in his 2006 Range Rover. He was arrested for reckless driving and for not having a valid license.

So the question becomes ... do we think that Ne-Yo plucked his eyebrows for his mug shot or was he already freshly plucked when he decided to get behind the wheel of his car and drive around Georgia like a mad man? Enquiring minds want to know. [Source]

Jessica Alba got herself all bundled up with a thick scarf and a heavy coat in order to protect her burgeoning baby bump from the bitter cold elements of ... Brentwood, CA?

That's right folks ... these pics weren't taken in the sub-zero temps. of NYC, they were snapped right here in SoCal where the weather doesn't really call for this type of bundling. Do you suppose she is wearing all of this clothing to keep her bump away from prying eyes? Hmmm ... it's so strange ... Jessica Alba is SO not the type of celeb to shun the paps in this way. Aussie actress and singer Holly Valance was lookin' all kinds of hawt at W magazine's Hollywood Affair Pre-Oscar Party which was held here in LA earlier this week ... here are a couple of pics:

I just love this woman ... she looks great, she sounds great and I think that we don't get enough of her 'round these here parts. When last we saw Holly, she was making a cameo appearance on the CBS show Moonlight but I hope she's got some new projects in the making. I really miss seeing her out and about. Come back, Holly ... I heart you!! [Source]

Speaking of new projects, Hugh Jackman is really getting into his latest project -- Wolverine. Lest you think that those sexy Wolvie sideburns that Hugh rocks in the character of Wolverine are fake, here are pics of Hugh at the beach with his kiddies down in OZ rockin' his au naturale pork chop side burns:

Love it. Hugh is one hot and hairy, sexy beast who was made to portray Wolverine incarnate. I honestly used to think that his sideburns were fake but it turns out that they are not. You know, they really suit him. [Source]

Here are a few pics of the newly naturalized American citizen Mark Ronson performing a live show on stage at the Hammersmith Apollo in London, England last night:

Few men can successfully pull off a shiny gold suit like this ... he should be commended. Hot! [Source]

Here is a fun little game to play ... can you guess which Hollywood "It" Girl was rockin' these insane heels this week?

Click above to find out who it is

The answer might surprise you ... these eff me pumps don't really seem suited for this particular "It" Girl. Good luck! [Source]

Diesel has just unleashed their new Spring/Summer '08 line of clothing in their stores around the world and has kindly released this helpful video to prepare you before you plan your next shopping trip to one of their stores:

Remember folks, shopping can kill ... make sure you heed the warnings ... have fun!!

And finally ... it's time for this week's batch of photos sent in by Pink is the new Blog readers -- Andrea sends in a pic from her 21st birthday celebration (which occurred last weekend) proudly displaying her driver's license while her friend Kristin is sad for still being 20 (tho, she can cheer up ... she turns 21 in just a few weeks) -- Megan and Nicole send in a pic in front of the Paris Hotel and Casino from their recent visit to Las Vegas which they describe as a "random drunkfest" -- Erica (in the pink Britney wig) and her girlfriends from Tulane University send in a pic from, what she describes as, "THE best Mardi Gras parade in New Orleans" called Muses -- which is the all-woman parade, the highlight of which is a giant light up float in the shape of a high heel -- Jacqueline sends in a lovely pic of the birthday gift that she received from her boyfriend Alfredo, who she wants to publicly thank and declare "I love you" to -- Marjolein, a Dutch reader who currently lives in Brooklyn, NY, sends in a pic of herself right before she goes for a swim in the icy waters of Coney Island, which is something that she does every Sunday:

Thank you all so much for another great batch of photos ... they all look so fun ... except for the one sent in by Marjolein -- that pic looks crazy ;) Again, thank you all for taking the time to send in your amazingly fun photos! xoxo

Les News:
Yesterday afternoon I had an appointment in town and because I was meeting up with The GangTM for dinner, I decided to just stay in town and hang out for the day. We ended up meeting up at Chan Dana on the West side of town for dinner ... and we took this great photo afterwards:

I never thought it would be possible but we finally found someone who is taller than Darion is ... and his name is Buddha. Dinner was really very good but it was getting to hang out with my friends after being away for the last couple of weeks that was really fun. I brought them each their own little package of Stroopwafels which I hope they enjoy as much as I do. Honestly, I had to give them their gifts as soon as possible ... they were in danger of being eaten by me if I held on to them for too long.

Tonight I'm supposed to have dinner with my friend Tom and then Darion and I are going to see Marilyn Manson at The Wiltern. Goth and Roll!

I'm out!!!
