"Strawberries & Fish Biscuits"

Last night Kevin Federline played host at the Complex magazine/Five Star Vintage party at the Kitson Men boutique in West Hollywood. The whole affair held no surprises whatsoever and everything pretty much went as was expected. Britney Spears did not attend the event with her husband but I predicted that that would be the case (I'm fairly certain that she will remain under wraps until the release date for Kevin's debut album draws near). I didn't really anticipate that there would be a large celebrity turn-out ... but I hoped that someone might show up. Yeah pretty much the only person of note who showed up besides Kevin was Ryan Carnes. Whatevs, my only goal of the evening was to try and get a picture with the illustrious Kevin Federline and, I am very happy to report, it was mission: accomplished:

The event ran from 7:30pm until 10pm and I really figured K-Fed wouldn't show up until very near the end of the party ... on that count, I was wrong. Kevin showed up a little after 8pm -- which was nice because I didn't really want to hang around there all night long. Jim and I sipped on mojitos while K-Fed was led around the store to pose for photos ... then everyone went out into the courtyard to hear selections from his debut album Playing With Fire. I was only interested in hearing a snippet of his song Crazy which features Britney Spears on vocals but that song was not played. The DJ prolly played about 5 songs, none of them in their entirety and they kinda all sounded the same. I was very surprised at how friendly K-Fed seemd to everyone there. He posed for pictures with a lot of people (altho he never smiled, you could tell he was enjoying the attention). I decided to take my chances and go up to him for a pic ... he looked at me (I'm fairly certain he knew who I was) nodded, said "Yeah" and we took the pic. Then I thanked him and he offered his hand and we shook. To say it was a thrill would be a lie ... but I got one degree away from Britney Spears so I was pretty damn happy on that regard. Now all I have to do is manage to meet her and I'll be all set. The party was definitely worth going to ... but Jim and I had another event that we had to go to so we jetted ... and that was pretty much that.

In other K-Fed news, tonight is the night that The Federline makes his worldwide debut as an actor as his episode of CSI airs on CBS:

Make sure you set those DVRs/TiVos because you know you don't wanna miss it! Can't wait for tonight? Click HERE to watch a short preview clip of tonight's episode. [Source]

And, because I don't want Britney to feel left out, Pink reader Jill alerted me to the fact that there is a new Aussie Britney Spears website for her latest fragrance Curious: In Control:

ATTENTION: LOST SPOILER ALERT WARNING

Blah! To say that I was a bit disappointed with last night's episode of Lost would be an understatement. I really don't think that the second episode of the season should be so incredibly uneventful as last night's ep was. I kept expecting some shocking revelation to come up but none ever materialized. Even the ending was anticlimactic ... altho, there really was no climax in the episode at all:

I guess the only new interesting information that we got was that "Henry Gale" revealed to Jack that his real name is Benjamin Linus and that he's "lived on the island all his life". Also, we found out that Danielle Rosseau's daughter Alex is still around tho we're not sure if she's a good guy or a bad guy. Yeah ... and the rest of the ep was pretty much Eh. I kinda think something bad is going to happen to Sawyer and Kate ... all that kissing and lovey-doveyness -- smells of an impending death. Sun's flashback didn't really reveal any new info ... I'm not exactly sure why the episode was named after the broken ballerina figurine ... are we supposed to be clued into the fact that she would lie for self-preservation? I'm also not sure where they are going with the guy she was having her affair with ... he killed himself ... and? I'm glad she shot that Other chick Colleen (it appeared she would be a foil to Juliet who was vying for Ben's attention) but something tells me that the shooting will play a role in future eps. I find it hard to believe that Jack would be so easily swayed ... especially by TV. They've only been on the island for about 2 months ... Jack seems way more stubborn than that. At least the next episode looks very interesting ... I'm dying to find out what happened to the others ... er, the survivors on the beach since the "incident" in the hatch. I really hope they give us something to talk about next week. [Source]

ATTENTION: PROJECT RUNWAY SPOILER ALERT WARNING

Big BOOOO! to Project Runway as well. I really miss the days when the season finale was a 2-hour event all in the same night ... didn't they do that first season? I hate all the stretching out that they're doing ... especially when last night's part 1 of the finale was so ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ:

The only things I really want to comment aren't even that interesting. I can't believe Laura is going to have 5 boys! That's insane. I also can't believe that dude is her husband ... he looks really old ... especially for her, especially to be fathering kids left and right. Tim Gunn's extremely white feet scared the hell outta me ... I think that was the first time he ever took off his dress socks ... ever! The whole drama about whether or not Jeffery cheated is way lame ... you know they aren't going to cut him from showing at Fashion Week despite what next week's teaser looks like. Let's just get on with it already ... I need to find out who's finally In for this season. [Source]

Nicole Richie is really makin' the rounds with all her friends lately ... since reuniting with Paris Hilton, they've been hanging out together pretty much every day. Here are pictures of Nicole and Paris by day ... and then Nicole and Lindsay Lohan going to Guy's nightclub by night:

It's nice that Nicole is spending times with her BFFs. There should be more lovin' than hatin' in Hollywood. As much as the bitch-fights are fun, I think I much prefer when everyone gets along ... and then start sleeping with one another's boyfriends. [Source, Source]

Hee hee ... it would seem that Paris Hilton's halcyon days of skirting the law are over. The cops are on her butt like white on rice. Here are a couple photos of Paris getting pulled over by a traffic cop:

Isn't her DUI arraignment coming up soon? [Source]

Mary Kate Olsen has chosen a suitable mate for her to bond with while she visits our humble planet. I believe the main requirement for her mate is that he must be pretty much exactly like her but in male form ... and taller:

Yep, same stringy hair, same insatiable need for caffeine, same poor fashion choices. It looks like she got herself a winner. [Source]

Ashlee Simpson turned 22 last week but finally found the time last night to celebrate ... here are photos of a girl that vaguely looks like she could be Ashlee Simpson at her birthday party at The Embassy Club in London:

If Ashlee's birthday wish was to turn into an entirely different person than I think she got her wish. She is almost unrecognizable these days. You know that Jessica is soooo pissed. [Source]

Incidentally, here are pictures of Ashlee taken last week showing off what appears to be a new tattoo:

Is that really a peace sign tattoo on her finger? Even if it isn't a peace sign it still looks like a peace sign and kinda looks trashy. Shouldn't she have just got a rose tattooed on her left breast? [Source]

Hey, guess what ... you're prolly never gonna belive this but Michael Jackson is crazy:

ODDBALL Michael Jackson steps out, his surgery-ravaged face hidden under a huge floppy hat. The blue titfer topped a bizarre outfit, with the pop weirdo wearing what looked like a woman’s ruffled blouse and STILETTOS and carrying a large orange bag. Onlookers said his once stick-thin frame had developed feminine curves — and that they mistook the one-time heart-throb for a WOMAN. It is not the first time Jacko, 47, has stunned the world with his weird wardrobe. No, and it prolly won't be the last time either. I'm actually surprised he's not wearing a nice pair of Christain Louboutins. [Source]

I think I'm the only person on planet Earth who enjoyed the Fantastic Four movie so I'm happy to report that they are hard at work on F4 2. The following pictures may be spoilerish if you're not familiar with the mythology of the Fantastic Four so be warned ... here are a few pics from the set:

I'm such a sucker for superhero movies ... it is my understanding that they will be introducing the Silver Surfer in the next F4 movie so that he can be spun off on his own franchise. I think in F4 2, the Silver Surfer appears as the ring bearer at the wedding of Mr. Fantastic and the Invisible Girl. Yeah, I'm a pretty big geek. [Source, Source]

In more geek-news, here is the teaser poster for the upcoming Iron Man movie:

It looks pretty good ... I was really worried when the rumors began that Tom Cruise wanted to play Tony Stark in the movie version of Iron Man ... I'm relieved that Robert Downey, Jr. got the part instead. Iron Man has always been one of my favorites ... I was a big fan when I was really young ... I hope they don't eff him up his movie. [Source]

And finally, Sarah Michelle Gellar is on the cover of the new issue of Marie Claire magazine:

And as much as they always try to downplay the Buffy thing ... she will always be Buffy to me. [Source]

Les News:
So, yeah ... last night was fun. While Jim and I were chillin' at Kitson we got to meet a few Pink readers:

I have to say hey to Sarah, Elizabeth, Zoe, Crystal, Damien and all the other folks that I got to meet. I have to send out lots of love to Sherry for inviting us to the soiree.

After Jim and I finished up at Kitson Men, we made our way into the Hollywood Hills for the Rock for Darfur event that was held that this amazing private estate. We got there kinda late but we had fun nonetheless. I have to send out much love to Rembrandt and Ben for taking such good care of Jim and me.

Yeah ... that was pretty much my night. It was fun as hell ... tonight there is another event that I think I'm gonna check out. T-Mobile is releasing a couple limited edition versions of the Sidekick 3 and they're throwing a little party to celebrate -- should be fun.

That is all ... I'm out.
