Little Miss Commando

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! See ... I've done my best to try and be cool with all this Britney Spears suddenly loves to party every single night while wearing pretty much the same clothes day in and day out thing but it looks like things have started to get out of hand. In the span of just a couple of weeks, our dear Britters has gone from triumphant single woman hear-me-roar starlet to well ... this:

I gotta say ... seeing Britney in THIS NSFW state is just a little sad. Whether or not she's flashing her biz sans undies (it's hard to tell for sure) isn't really the point. It's clear that Britney still has a hard time making the right decisions. I realize that she's prolly just desperate to have a good time out with her "friends" but I just don't understand why she can't reign it in a little. I just don't get how a mother of 2 thinks it's a good idea to take the partying to such extremes. I also don't get how she has no other shirts to wear when she goes out every single night. When you compare a well-dressed Kevin Federline wearing a pretty fly suit with a sloppily dressed Britney who's flashing her nether region on a, now, typical night out at LA hot spot Hyde -- I think it's time to stage an intervention. I wonder who's laughing now. [Source]

Gross ... I just wish Britney would get her shizz together. This behavior doesn't really bode well for her much-needed comeback. Here are a couple of extremely cute pictures of a fully-dressed Rachel Bilson also making her way to Hyde this weekend:

She's rockin' a really cute outfit ... she looks great as usual. Obviously, she can hang out, have a good time and still keep her genitals fully covered -- it's not that hard to do. Britney needs to be hanging out with Rachel Bilson for a while ... maybe something positive will rub off on her. [Source]

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minillio are still going strong as a happily attached couple. Here are a couple pics of the pair cheering on the USC Trojans as they handily defeated Notre Dame in NCAA (44-24) college football yesterday:

Awwww ... it looks like the happy couple paused in between football plays to engage in a little tonsil hockey. They're really cute together -- things appear to be going very well for them. I wonder if they're thinking about becoming the new Newlyweds anytime soon. [Source]

Speaking of happy couples, here are a few pics of the Stefani-Rossdales out for a little stroll together. By the looks of the way that Gwen and Gavin are dressed ... it must be laundry day at the homestead:

As casually (ie. frumpy) dressed they are I have to admit that they look pretty comfortable ... tho, I can't really endorse Gwen's decision to wear socks AND slippers out in public. I can appreciate that sometimes you just wanna be as comfortable as you can be. I ain't mad atcha, y'all. [Source]

Kid Rock and his new bride Pamela Anderson are featured in this month's issue of GQ magazine, who named them the Newlyweds of the Year ... and then took a bunch of really fun, softcore pornish pics like these:

Man ... I gotta say ... I really like these two together. They seem so perfectly suited for one another. In their interview they joke about how they send their oldest kid (unclear which eldest kid, Pam's or Kid's) to the liquor store to get booze for them. Joke or not ... it's totally feasible and somehow, it's alright. The rest of the interview isn't really that exciting (mostly they give joke answers to the questions, some of which aren't that funny) but they do clarify that they are bi-costal -- they split their time between Detroit and California. Also, in a couple of the pictures, Kid Rock is wearing stuff by Made in Detroit and Adidas while Pam is wearing Prada, D&G, etc., which you gotta love. Props to Kid R & Pammy Pie for keepin' it real. [Source]

Brad Pitt is on the cover of the new issue of Total Film magazine:

See? Man bags can be totally sexy. [Source]

Paris Hilton is featured in an Italian cell phone commercial (I think) where she is actually speaking Italian (I think):

Honestly, there isn't anything really salacious about the advert but I find it a wee bit entertaining to hear Paris Hilton speak a different language ... she actually starts speaking Italian by saying "You know ..." first. LOL! Check it out. [Source]

Here is our Hot Dude of the Week ... say hello to Broody McBroodster Charlie:

Aww ... someone needs a hug ... I wonder what's got Mr. Grumpy-pants all in huff. Perhaps those jeans are too tight ... well, Charlie ... you know what you gotta do now :) [Source]

And finally ... those jokesters at Celebrities.com are running a little poll on their fabulous website ... they want to know who you think is the Cutest Couple:

Um ... yeah. Click HERE to cast your vote. Love it! [Source]

Les News:
I have been pretty much in hibernation mode this entire long weekend. I haven't really felt the need to, you know, go out in public and actually interact with other humans, so I've been contenting myself with entertaining myself at home. I got to finish reading Eragon (which I wanted to read before seeing the movie and generally liked but didn't really fall in love with) and have started up my next book, Saving Fish From Drowning by Amy Tan. Yeah ... it's been an exciting few days, lemme tell you.

I also got to clear some things off my DVR by finally getting around to watching them ... and I gotta give props and MUCH LURVE to the VH-1 Classic show The Alternative. I've mentioned this on the blog before but I really, really love this music video show:

I shant go off my nostalgic tangent again but those of you who are familiar with the show and the videos they play can feel me, right? I doubt I'll ever tire of watching Morrissey, Sugarcubes or Juliana Hatfield videos for as long as I live.

I think today I'm going to actually go out in public. I need to forage for food and pick up a few things so I guess I'm just gonna hafta shower and leave the premises. I really hope y'all have been having a great weekend. November is pretty much dunzo already and then 2006 will be pretty much dunzo as well. Where has the year gone? Blah ... I'll pontificate on that matter later. I'm out.
