The Girl Can Rock

Yesterday was the absolute best day ever ... you're never gonna guess what I got to do last night ...

... but deets will come a little later on ... let's get to the goss ...

Check out these cute pictures of Angelina Jolie and her children Zahara and Maddox:

OMG -- Zahara looks so cute in that dress. She looks like she's on her way to her Christening. She's got so much personality already ... and Maddox ... well, he's the other kid.

Whoa! Ashlee Simpson is sportin' a new hair-do:

It's a nice cut but it looks a little weird on her. I say it all the time, I miss her long black hair. Ah well ... a new 'do for a new attitude. BTW, I'm totally loving her new song, L.O.V.E.

Yikes! Nicky Hilton has also been spotted around town with a new look as well:

Is it wrong that I like the dog's hair better?

Jessica Simpson did some shopping at Fred Segal this week:

This one time I was about to take my driving test and I wanted to wear my skirt from Fred Segal but my maid misplaced it, she said that it was probably at the cleaners ... oh wait ... that wasn't me ... nevermind ... let's continue ...

Aww, check out this cute picture of Bennifer getting all kissy-kissy at the Urth Cafe in LA:

Does Ben Affleck look a little annoyed? Maybe I'm just seeing things.

Josh Hartnett and Scarlett Johansson have been spotted walking a dog -- together:

You know what this means ... they should be announcing their engagement in about 2 weeks.

Yay! Bif Naked is back with a new look and a new album, SuperBeatifulMonster:

Check out her My Space profile HERE to preview some of her new songs. I am a huge Bif Naked fan ... she is very cool. I can't wait until she comes to Detroit!

Poor Avril Lavigne -- Ashton Kutcher was so mean to her:

I can't believe she cried ... the only person who cried more was Jesse McCartney.

And finally, here is the last batch of Pink fan submissions:

I sincerely want to thank everyone for taking the time to send in your creations. I really love them all ... you guys are so talented. This little activity has been so fun ... we'll have to do something again soon!

It's newstime:
So okay, earlier in the week I got a message from Joel telling me that he arranged for me and a guest to see the lovely Hilary Duff at her Detroit show. Yeah, that was an understatement to say the least ... not only did we get to see the show but we also got to meet Miss Duff herself. The show was so fun ... Hilary and her awesome bodyguards (hey Troy!) arranged for Sarah and me to watch the show from the pit ... we got to hang out with Hilary's best friend Taylor who is on tour with her ... check out the pix:

But before the show we were ushered backstage to hang out with Hilary for a little while in her dressing room. She was so incredibly nice ... she totally made us feel like welcomed guests, like friends. The first thing she said to me was "I'm such a big fan of yours" -- I about fell on the floor! I can't even believe she said that to me ... she was so sweet to say that! I brought her a Pink is the new Blog sticker and she put it on her wardrobe trunk!

She really made us feel welcome ... Sarah and I got to meet Lola (her cute little dog, she was wearing a pink shirt), her band and her entire crew. It was so amazing! I can't thank Hilary and Joel for allowing us to have such an incredible night (big up to Ultra for her help as well). I <3 U all!!!

I took A LOT of pictures at the show, click HERE to see them all. You'll need to register with, but it's free!

Here's the thing ... I am just a normal dude. I'm just a fan just like anyone else. Stuff like this does not happen to me ... so of course I am very excited. I am just a dude with a blog trying to have fun and hopefully make people laugh. That's the only thing I wanna do. I hope peeps can chill on all the negativity. It's all about having fun, y'all!

UGH, I still have that magazine article to write ... so I'm out!
