Scratch & Sniff
You know what ... Britney Spears doesn't think that you smell enough. She wants to be the person to help you out with that. First she blessed the world with her first fragrance Curious ... and then came Fantasy ... and now she bestows upon us her latest concoction -- In Control:

You know what is really great for hyping the sales of a new fragrance ... good old fashioned buzz ... Britney knows that by getting her name in the news her new fragrance will fly off those Wal-Mart shelves like there is no tomorrow. Did you hear that Britney Spears was rushed to the hospital recently?
Britney Spears had to be rushed to hospital after treading on a hypodermic needle ... The pop babe - who is on holiday in Hawaii - had stepped out of her car without shoes on when she trod on the needle in a parking lot ... The panic-stricken star was taken to Hawaii State Hospital, but tests showed the needle was unused ... A source is quoted in Britain's Daily Star newspaper as saying: "Britney is going to be fine. She's got a nasty cut but it's been disinfected and dressed and she's been released from hospital ... "It was more the shock of seeing the needle poking out of her foot - as you can imagine. All sorts of things race through your mind in that situation. The conclusion we would all jump to is that it was discarded by a drug user ... "Britney was distraught but brave."

Oh and the word on the street is that Brit Brit is seriously being considered for mother of the year:

Sarah Michelle Gellar was on hand for the launch of AOL's new venture In2TV at the Museum of Television and Radio last night in Hollywood:
In2TV is a new resource where you can watch old school TV shows online for free. Get this ... you can watch full episodes of Alice, Head of the Class, Perfect Strangers and V! V people! That rules all! Oh yeah ... SMG looked great ... but yeah, old school TV shows rule! [Source]

It is my sad duty to report that Phil Collins and his wife Orianne, who were married in 1999, are splitting up ... they're dunzo, y'all:
"They have been living separately since the beginning of the year and both cite the fact that they have been growing apart for some time now and this has put too much pressure on their relationship," the statement said ... "Consequently, they have decided in the interests of their two children that it is better to separate. They are both very sad that it should come to this but have as their priority the welfare and happiness of their children and are determined to remain friends and be loving parents to them." OH, it's Jennifer Aniston: [When] Jen spotted the cameras and tried to pretend she wasn't one of the most famous faces in the world, by covering her chin in a scarf. Bless. And she took some crafty side-steps away from Vince-y. That Aniston ... she is soooo tricky. [Source]

These are unfortunate times for Pete Doherty ... It all started when Pete was nipping out to the chemist to pick up a few bits. He was trailed by a pesky photographer, keen to snap whatever was wrong with Pete's chin as he tried to hide it. Next he had a spot of trouble getting back to his car and had to get through some railings (did he park in a school?). Finally, to top it all off, by the time he'd Indiana Jones-d his way back to the motor, Pete discovered someone had smashed the back window. I hear he's got a little prob with the narcotics as well ... but I think that's a totally unconfirmed rumor. [Source]

Hello ... will you look at all of those teeth?! AND she's got 2 more coming in on the bottom ... she is just amazing! The 4 of us had a really great time just hangin' out. Today Tracey and Zakiya are flying down to Nashville to hang out with other friends of ours.
It has gotten cold around here again ... but thankfully none of that evil white stuff has returned ... I'm just crossing my fingers that it won't return again for the rest of the season.
