Hallowe'en'en

Woot! David and I had a blast in San Francisco this past weekend but it got really cold Saturday night and all day Sunday ... it's nice being back in LA where the forecast is for high 70s all week long -- Holla! It's Halloween eve and I *still* don't know what we're doing tomorrow -- I don't even have a costume yet ... but, there are a few options so we'll see. The celebs are getting ready for Halloween so let's get to the goss ...

Britney Spears looks like she's getting back to her good ol' normal self ... at the very least, she's going out in public on a regular basis again. Sure, her reemergence isn't as stunning as Whitney Houston's but we're getting there. Here are a few cute pictures of Britney with her little sister Jamie-Lynn and JL's boyfriend out for a little spin in a go-kart in Malibu, CA over the weekend:

Can I just say that I really love starting out the day's post with Brit news instead of K-Fed news. Long-time readers know that I always try to start my posts with whatever Spederline news is available and now that Brit Brit is going out in public again ... well, I'm just glad there's something to talk about. I've been listening to the K-Fed song Crazy which features Britney on vocals (Breathe Heavy has the HQ download HERE) and I don't really love it as much as I thought I would. It's not even that K-Fed's raps skillz leave much to be desired but I am not particularly impressed with Brit's vocals. The hook is catchy enough ... but I'm just interested in her new stuff. It will be a great day when Britney starts releasing new material again. [Source]

Kate Winslet and Hugh Jackman were both on hand for the New York premiere of their new animated movie Flushed Away over the weekend ... and to celebrate their movie, which tells the tale of an uptown rat that gets flushed down the toilet from his penthouse apartment -- ending in the sewers of London, they arrived at the movie premiere by sliding down a huge slide:

Um ... okay ... I love Hugh Jackman and all but the premise of this movie does not sound fun at all. I'm not a big fan of toilet humor. I think I may have to pass on this one. [Source]

Here are a few pictures of Madonna and all of her children, Lourdes, Rocco and David, as they make their way thru London's Heathrow airport on route to New York City:

Little David Banda is so cute, Maddy's little braid is not. Madonna will be in NYC for the next couple of weeks to do a few press appearances and, I believe, to do a book signing for her new children's book The English Roses: Too Good To Be True. They really do make a handsome family. [Source, Source]

Halloween continues to take over Hollywood as the various Halloween parties continue to take place ... here are new pictures of Paris Hilton (dressed as a sexy bunny), Travis Barker (dressed as a pissed off skeleton) and Brandon Davis (dressed as a flaming firecrotch head person ... or something) as they made their way to a party over the weekend:

I realize that Brandon is trying to be cute with his little firecrotch costume but doesn't he look more like the fat, villainous Heat Miser from the Xmas claymation classic The Year Without A Santa Claus? The resemblance is pretty uncanny. LOLZ! [Source]

Down in Laguna Beach, Halloween celebrations have already gotten underway as well ... here are pictures of Rocky and Alex (who *just* broke up with on Laguna Beach: The Real OC a couple of weeks ago ... and who looks pretty good in the eyeliner) and Jessica and her very large breasts at a couple different parties:

It ain't a Laguna Beach party without the beer and boobs. Holla! [Source, Source]

Denise Richards is also getting ready for Halloween but she is doing so in a much more sedate and cute manner ... here are adorable pictures of Denise and her daughter Lola having a grand ol' time at a pumpkin patch here in LA:

Lola is so cute. It's good to hear that Denise and Charlie Sheen are getting along better since their break-up earlier this year. It's too bad the whole family didn't go to the patch together. [Source]

Fergie Ferg got herself all dressed up in costume (but not for any Halloween purposes, mainly for Hoochie purposes) to perform at the MTV Student Voice Awards in Tokyo, Japan over the weekend:

Ugh ... I hate to admit it but she really has been coming out with some fun music. The Girl Scout thing is cute too. What happened? I'm so not used to lovin' on Fergie. [Source]

Here are a couple new pictures of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt atop their hotel in Pune, India taking in the lay of the land:

Everyone is all baby crazy these days (and by "everybody" I mean Angelina and Brad ... and Brad only because Angelina tells him to be baby crazy) ... pretty soon, you'll be hearing about how David and I will be adopting a baby together ... maybe we'll pick up a kid of our own on our next trip together -- which might be Las Vegas so who knows what we may come home with. [Source]

In other Brad news, here are a couple pictures of our favorite humanitarian doing a little work for the 23rd Jimmy Carter Project in Patan Village outside of Mumbai, India:

The project goal is to build 100 homes in a week's time for the underprivileged people in the area. I think their cause would be aided greatly if Brad Pitt would do his work shirtless. I'm just saying. [Source]

Can you tell which Hollywood "It" Girl was caught with her skirt up high above her ankles?

It looks like Mischa Barton didn't properly try on that skirt before she bought it ... unless it shrunk in the wash. In either case, I don't think we're meant to be privy to her butt cheeks like this. [Source]

Paris Hilton appears in an anti-drinking and driving public service announcement in the new issue of Seventeen magazine ...

... which I don't think is a very smart thing to be doing before she goes to court for her own DUI charges. Elliot Mintz must've been sleeping on the job to allow this PSA to get the green light. Nothing says, "I'm guilty" like saying, "I'm sorry". [Source]

Pink reader Paula was going thru her old yearbooks and sends in this scan of her old classmate Nicole Lilly who eventually grew up to be Evangeline Lilly:

Paula and Nicole Evangeline went to WJ. Mouat Secondary School in Abbotsford, British Columbia and the photo is of Evangeline in the 11th grade in 1996. Um ... doesn't she look a lot like Dakota Fanning? There now ... Dakota now has something to aspire to. [thanks Paula]

Here is the portrait of Keith Richards from the Rolling Stones all done up as a pirate (painted by artist Paul Karslake, the brother-in-law of Richards' bandmate Ronnie Wood) which inspired Johnny Depp's character of Jack Sparrow in the Disney smash fanchise Pirates of the Carribean:

The painting was unveiled to the public today and will go on display at London's Artisan Gallery. Since this painting inspired Jack Sparrow it's not hard to see how Keith was inspired to play Jack's father, Grant Sparrow, in the next movie sequel. [Source]

And finally, here is the full cover shot of the December issue of Australian Vogue magazine which features guest editor Kylie Minogue:

As I mentioned yesterday, I love these pictures ... I cannot wait until we get to see all of the photos from this spread. [Source]

Les News:
So yeah ... as I mentioned earlier, yesterday was a pretty cold day in San Francisco but that did not deter us from hanging out on Haight St. all day long. David and I picked up a couple of rad Adidas shoes at the Adidas Concept Store (where I got to meet Pink reader Ashley -- thank you for helping me pick the right pair) and some other little stuff along the way:

We had an absolute blast in San Francisco together ... I am so glad that I went on this little trip and I can't wait to go back again. I have to send out love and thanks to all the kickass folks of San Fran for all the invites to parties, clubs, bars, etc. Even tho we pretty much just hung out with family and friends I really appreciate all the offers. Thank you so much!

I need to figure out what the hell we're doing for Halloween tomorrow ... so I best get to it. Happy Monday, y'all! I'm out.
