Father Knows Test
So the paternity drama surrounding Anna Nicole Smith's newborn baby girl Dannielynn Hope has finally been decided and despite all other claims to the contrary, Anna Nicole's former paparazzo boyfriend Larry Birkhead has been proven with 99.99% accuracy to be the biological father. The results were supposed to be revealed at around 2:30pm ET yesterday afternoon but in actuality the news wasn't revealed until about 3:45pm ... at which point Larry Birkhead emerged from the Bahamian courthouse and declared to the world, "I told you so!" It would seem that Howard K. Stern has finally come to realize that his fight is over ... he has promised not to seek custody of Dannilynn in light of the DNA test results:

Stern, listed as Dannielynn's father on the birth certificate, said he would not fight for custody. "My feelings for Dannielynn have not changed," said Stern, who was Smith's lawyer and live-in companion. "I am not going to fight Larry Birkhead on custody. We're going to do what we can to make sure that the best interests of Dannielynn are carried out. And I'm going to do whatever I can to make sure he gets sole custody," Stern said outside the Bahamian courthouse where the DNA test results were disclosed. When asked when Birkhead would get custody of the 7-month-old girl, who has been living with Stern in Nassau, Stern said he wanted there to be a "gradual transition." Stern said Birkhead could come to the house any time and spend as much time as he wants with his daughter. Another hearing is set for Friday to further discuss the custody issue, which involves Stern, Birkhead and Virgie Arthur, Smith's estranged mother who lives in Texas. Arthur's attorney, John O'Quinn, told "Larry King Live" on Tuesday that Arthur would not seek any sort of guardianship for Dannielynn. Arthur and Birkhead will meet on Thursday, he said, in an attempt to reach an agreement regarding access to Dannielynn. "Virgie is the grandmother, and we're going to respect that," he said. Birkhead sits in a good position to take Dannielynn home soon, according to B. J. Bernstein, a defense attorney and CNN legal analyst. "It's very difficult for grandparents ... to trump the natural, biological parent," Bernstein said. And so ... this portion of the ongoing saga has been put to rest ... now we wait to see how the custody hearing will go on Friday. I'm fairly certain that Larry, as the biological father, will be given custody of his daughter and then this whole drawn out mess can finally be over. It's just amazing how this thing just does not want to end ... but hopefully soon, Larry and his daughter can just live out the rest of their lives in relative peace -- that is, unless he decides to take his daughter out in public and then it would be madness. The mystery surrounding Anna Nicole's death has been solved and so has the paternity of Dannilynn ... but the story of Larry and daughter is just beginning. So ends one chapter, so begins another. JT only flew in from LA yesterday. He is over here for a few weeks preparing for the UK leg of his current world tour. Madonna, who is famous for reinventing herself, said this time her album - which is due out in November - will have a hip-hop feel. Now this is interesting ... I like that Madonna is working with Timbaland but the JT inclusion is cause for concern. Many of the JT and Timbaland collaborations sound the same, IMHO -- I don't like any of the tracks they did together on Tim's new album. I trust that Madonna knows a hit when she hears one so I'm sure she's gonna be able to work up a hot track with them. And finally ... I am very, very happy to report that MTV has unveiled yet another Real World/Road Rules Challenge upon the world. I dunno why, but I *live* for these challenges! Ladies and gentlemen ... are you ready for The Inferno 3?
The show debuted last night at the 10 Spot (tho, it aired in full during the Afternoon Sneek at 4:30pm) and I loved every single moment of it. OOOOH the drama ... it never ends. Things just seem to get more and more ridiculous with each new challenge. CT managed to get into 2 fights and physically assault someone in the first 10 mins. of the debut episode -- resulting in his ejection from the game before the game even got started. About 10 seconds after CT made a nice, sweet toast about everyone having a great time together he hauls off and punches Davis in the face after asking him if he was "the gay guy". Davis walked away with a huge-ass black eye and CT walked away with a return trip back home. Seriously, I live for this shizz. The teams are separated by Good Guys and Bad Guys and my money is on the Bad Guys to win it all. But in the end ... who really gives a crap who wins and who loses ... I'm all about the RW/RR drama. I ain't gonna lie ... the movie is baaaaad. The storyline is weak as hell, the acting was laughable and the "horror" was non-existent. Each of the main characters looked like someone famous (Nick Cannon, Tyrese, Christian Slater) but there wasn't a recognizable actor in the bunch. The only person who I'd even ever seen before was one of the lab guys from CSI but he got eviscerated in the first 5 mins. Honestly, I've seen worse movies but this one was pretty bad. I wouldn't recommend it but I'm sure there's an audience out there for movies like this somewhere.
After the movie we grabbed a quick bite to eat at Benny's Burritos and I think I fell in love. The food as so damn good. We came home and turned in early ... tonight we have dinner plans with one friend and hanging out plans with another ... nothing major, just good times with good peeps.
I hope all y'all's week is going well ... we hit the midway point, that must count for something. I am out.
