Father Knows Test

So the paternity drama surrounding Anna Nicole Smith's newborn baby girl Dannielynn Hope has finally been decided and despite all other claims to the contrary, Anna Nicole's former paparazzo boyfriend Larry Birkhead has been proven with 99.99% accuracy to be the biological father. The results were supposed to be revealed at around 2:30pm ET yesterday afternoon but in actuality the news wasn't revealed until about 3:45pm ... at which point Larry Birkhead emerged from the Bahamian courthouse and declared to the world, "I told you so!" It would seem that Howard K. Stern has finally come to realize that his fight is over ... he has promised not to seek custody of Dannilynn in light of the DNA test results:

Former boyfriend Larry Birkhead was declared the father of Anna Nicole Smith's baby Tuesday, and Howard K. Stern, listed as Dannielynn's father on the birth certificate, said he would not fight for custody. "My feelings for Dannielynn have not changed," said Stern, who was Smith's lawyer and live-in companion. "I am not going to fight Larry Birkhead on custody. We're going to do what we can to make sure that the best interests of Dannielynn are carried out. And I'm going to do whatever I can to make sure he gets sole custody," Stern said outside the Bahamian courthouse where the DNA test results were disclosed. When asked when Birkhead would get custody of the 7-month-old girl, who has been living with Stern in Nassau, Stern said he wanted there to be a "gradual transition." Stern said Birkhead could come to the house any time and spend as much time as he wants with his daughter. Another hearing is set for Friday to further discuss the custody issue, which involves Stern, Birkhead and Virgie Arthur, Smith's estranged mother who lives in Texas. Arthur's attorney, John O'Quinn, told "Larry King Live" on Tuesday that Arthur would not seek any sort of guardianship for Dannielynn. Arthur and Birkhead will meet on Thursday, he said, in an attempt to reach an agreement regarding access to Dannielynn. "Virgie is the grandmother, and we're going to respect that," he said. Birkhead sits in a good position to take Dannielynn home soon, according to B. J. Bernstein, a defense attorney and CNN legal analyst. "It's very difficult for grandparents ... to trump the natural, biological parent," Bernstein said. And so ... this portion of the ongoing saga has been put to rest ... now we wait to see how the custody hearing will go on Friday. I'm fairly certain that Larry, as the biological father, will be given custody of his daughter and then this whole drawn out mess can finally be over. It's just amazing how this thing just does not want to end ... but hopefully soon, Larry and his daughter can just live out the rest of their lives in relative peace -- that is, unless he decides to take his daughter out in public and then it would be madness. The mystery surrounding Anna Nicole's death has been solved and so has the paternity of Dannilynn ... but the story of Larry and daughter is just beginning. So ends one chapter, so begins another. So while Larry awaits his next court appearance on Friday it looks like he's going to get a little relaxation time in at the beach in the meantime:

Yeah, it's pretty clear that Larry Birkhead has hit the jackpot. He has inherited some of Anna Nicole's crazy fame and as soon as his daughter inherits her insane fortune ... well, he's going to be sittin' pretty for a long time. Larry Birkhead has come into possession of everything that Howard K. Stern has been scheming for for years! I think he has every right to celebrate. [Source]

In other family reunion news, Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee have been spending quite a lot of time together in the past few weeks ... so much so that they thought it appropriate to take a little holiday together with their children down in Hawaii:

These two have a crazy history and two children so it's not that surprising that they keep getting back together again. It seems that every time that Pammy pie tries to date (and/or marry) a new guy and it ends up not working out she goes right back into Tommy's awaiting tattooed arms. They make a good match, they should just settle down once and for all and stay together. Hepitis isn't the only thing they have in common, you know. [Source]

Prince Harry is still on holiday with his lady love Chelsy Davy down in Barbados ... here are pictures of the shirtless Prince gettin' some sun on a speedboat:

It's not only sun and fun that the Princely one is interested in while on vacay ... he's also lookin' for a little lurve ... [Source]

... and longtime girlfriend Chelsy Davy is happy to oblige:

These two are really very open with their fondness for lip-locking. It's nice when you've don't have to hide your love and affection. [Source]

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz have been trying to publicly hide their love and affection but were snapped, finally, gettin' cozy and all smoochy inside the VIP area at JET nightclub at The Mirage in Vegas earlier this week:

Pete has even gone so far as to state in interviews that he is "locked down with a lady right now." Hmm ... I think we know what's going on. I, for one, am all for it ... I like ASHL33N together. If Pete could get Ash to stop wearing those ugly hats, I'd be even happier! [Source]

Madonna is hard at work on her new album, which is due out this November, and she is pulling out all the stops this time ... working with various producers and songwriters ... trying to prove that she's still got her fingers firmly on the pulse. Here are pictures of Madonna and Justin Timberlake emerging separately from the same London studio where they were working together on new music for her album:

Justin Timberlake and Madonna emerge from a west London studio looking exhausted after their first day recording together. The two superstars are collaborating on the Queen of Pop's new album - and they've drafted in America's top producer Timbaland to put it together. Justin, 26, revealed: "I've been working on new music but it's not for myself. I'm working on some stuff for Madonna." The 48-year-old singer caused havoc outside the studio last night as she demanded her car be brought to the back door and parked on the pavement so nobody would see her escape. JT only flew in from LA yesterday. He is over here for a few weeks preparing for the UK leg of his current world tour. Madonna, who is famous for reinventing herself, said this time her album - which is due out in November - will have a hip-hop feel. Now this is interesting ... I like that Madonna is working with Timbaland but the JT inclusion is cause for concern. Many of the JT and Timbaland collaborations sound the same, IMHO -- I don't like any of the tracks they did together on Tim's new album. I trust that Madonna knows a hit when she hears one so I'm sure she's gonna be able to work up a hot track with them. I'm not sure where this bit about the album being "hip hop" is coming from ... something else to worry about, I suppose. November is still a long way off ... we have a long time to wait before we hear what the album really sounds like. [Source]

David and Victoria Beckham stepped out on the town this past Monday night to celebrate Becks' Real Madrid team mate Roberto Carlos da Silva's birthday:

For once, I'm not wowed. I guess even the every fabulous Posh and Becks have to be able to dress down every once in a while. That striped turtleneck does nothing to enhance Posh's skeletal frame. [Source]

Kylie Minogue, rockin' a new Asian bob haircut, was a sight to behold on the runway at an event in Shanghai last night to help launch the first Chinese H&M store ... here are some pics of Miss Kylie on the catwalk:

I quite like this new look ... Kylie has done the Asian look before and I think she does it well. The only thing missing are a pair of chopsticks sticking out of her her little hair-do. Love it! [Source]

Matthew McConaughey is still at it ... he's still keepin' up with his rigid work-out regiment:

Unfortch, he's taken to wearing more clothing. Boo. [Source]

Fergie Ferg is also still hard at workin' on her fitness ...

See ... men can be just as vain as women. [Source]

Poor David Boreanaz ... he shouldn't have to be the one to lug all of his heavy luggage all by his lonesome:

Don't they have "people" to do this sort of thing? [Source]

TomKat went out for a little spin after they dined at Maetro's Steak House in Beverly Hills, CA last night ... poor Katie had to scrunch herself into Tom's tiny classic Corvette:

It looks like Tom didn't take into consideration the fact that his car wasn't made for full size adults. LOL! [Source]

UGH. I have *no idea* why but FHM magazine is showcasing a heavily made-up and scantily clad Kimberly Stewart in their latest issue:

Yeah, no lunch for me. How about you? [Source]

And finally ... I am very, very happy to report that MTV has unveiled yet another Real World/Road Rules Challenge upon the world. I dunno why, but I *live* for these challenges! Ladies and gentlemen ... are you ready for The Inferno 3?

The show debuted last night at the 10 Spot (tho, it aired in full during the Afternoon Sneek at 4:30pm) and I loved every single moment of it. OOOOH the drama ... it never ends. Things just seem to get more and more ridiculous with each new challenge. CT managed to get into 2 fights and physically assault someone in the first 10 mins. of the debut episode -- resulting in his ejection from the game before the game even got started. About 10 seconds after CT made a nice, sweet toast about everyone having a great time together he hauls off and punches Davis in the face after asking him if he was "the gay guy". Davis walked away with a huge-ass black eye and CT walked away with a return trip back home. Seriously, I live for this shizz. The teams are separated by Good Guys and Bad Guys and my money is on the Bad Guys to win it all. But in the end ... who really gives a crap who wins and who loses ... I'm all about the RW/RR drama. Bring it on! [Source, Source]

Les News:
David and I spent a nice night together last night ... we've been talking about a movie for a few days now and ended up going to see one last night. It was David's pick so we went to see The Hills Have Eyes 2:

I ain't gonna lie ... the movie is baaaaad. The storyline is weak as hell, the acting was laughable and the "horror" was non-existent. Each of the main characters looked like someone famous (Nick Cannon, Tyrese, Christian Slater) but there wasn't a recognizable actor in the bunch. The only person who I'd even ever seen before was one of the lab guys from CSI but he got eviscerated in the first 5 mins. Honestly, I've seen worse movies but this one was pretty bad. I wouldn't recommend it but I'm sure there's an audience out there for movies like this somewhere.

After the movie we grabbed a quick bite to eat at Benny's Burritos and I think I fell in love. The food as so damn good. We came home and turned in early ... tonight we have dinner plans with one friend and hanging out plans with another ... nothing major, just good times with good peeps.

I hope all y'all's week is going well ... we hit the midway point, that must count for something. I am out.
