Woot! Did y'all catch Jake Gyllenhaal's amazingly fun appearance on Saturday Night Live last night? I must admit that I was lax in preparing for the show and failed to set my DVR before I left the house yesterday (I spent all of yesterday hanging out with David's brother Aram and his girlfriend Shaine) but I managed to get a hold of Jim who came to the rescue and recorded the show for me. In other news, a plastic-looking animatronic version of a human female that goes by the Earth name Victoria Beckham arrived in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon ... this is the robot's first visit to the US since news broke that her husband David Beckham signed a $250 million dollar contract to play soccer for the MLS team the LA Galaxy ... here are a few photos of the her alien majesty as she makes her way thru LAX airport:

Now that the Beckhams are officially moving to Los Angeles, CA it seems prudent that Miz Posh sniff out a nesting place for the family to reside in. I fully expect VB to make her presence known in all parts of LA on this trip ... what better way to get the people of Los Angeles ready for their imminent permanent residency. Hmm ... there are new reports that the much-talked about wedding of Kate Moss and Pete Doherty that has yet to happen will apparently never happen ... that is, if Pete has anything to say about it. Here are a couple pictures of PeteMoss out for a stroll together earlier this weekend:


Pete Doherty has admitted that he never wants to marry Kate Moss. The Babyshambles frontman was rumoured to have tied the knot with his on/off lover during a holiday in Thailand over the New Year holiday, but this was later denied. Asked about the possibility of marriage at a gig on Friday, Doherty insisted that he was "happy the way it is". "I'm never getting married. I don't believe in it. Kate and I are in love - I worship her - but we're not going down the aisle," he explained. Perhaps one day, Kate Moss will wake up and realize that Pete Doherty just isn't marrying material ... the thought of him raising her child should be scary enough to wisen her up. Yesterday afternoon I met up with Aram and Shanie at Canter's for a quick bite to eat before we set off for Melrose were we did a bit of shopping. You can tell that Aram is a Hauslaib because he and David both have the same penchant for the shopping. While both Aram and Shanie were buying new shoes, I ran into Pink readers Mia, Patrick and their adorable little dog named Willow (after Willow on BtVS).

After Melrose, we hit Robertson for some more shopping ... Aram and I both got cool t-shirts at Kiston Men ... then we all went out for dinner at Rambutan Thai. It was there that I got to meet Pink reader Sara who was also having dinner there.

Our night wasn't quite over yet ... we popped into The Abbey for drinks and conversation. It was cold has shizz last night (prolly the coldest I've ever experienced here in LA) but we had a great time.

This afternoon I'm meeting up with Adriana for an afternoon of fun and delights ... I hope y'all are enjoying your weekends ... I am out.
