The Things We Do For Lurve
Let's get to the drama first ... here are a few amazing photos of Britney Spears from her NYE party at Pure on Sunday night ... Brit-Brit showed up at the shindig with a whole lotta new hair (and I mean, a whole lotta), her cavalcade of ex-back-up dancers and her savior and manager Larry Rudolph and got down to partying -- which, is being reported, led to her having a little fainting spell:

BRITNEY Spears was rushed from a star-studded nightclub after collapsing on the floor. The 24-year-old singer, who has been out partying since her split from husband Kevin Federline, was said to have been knocking back champagne before fainting at around 1am. Onlookers revealed that several bodyguards covered up the singer before carrying her out of Las Vegas's Pure nightclub, where she had been hosting its New Year's Eve bash. A clubber at the event said: "It was crazy. Britney's bodyguards were trying to stop any photographers taking pictures and shining torches in their eyes. But we saw her being carried out by about five of them with one of their jackets over her head. It appeared she was unable to walk on her own and had to be physically carried out."
BUT, according to Larry Rudolph (aforementioned savior/manager), Britney didn't pass out, she was merely tired and was falling asleep (one might say exhausted?): Britney Spears was exhausted – not drunk – during a New Year's Eve party in Las Vegas, according to her rep. "By about one o'clock, she was just done, so we took her out," Larry Rudolph, Spears' manager, told The Associated Press on Monday. "She was not drunk. She was just tired and falling asleep" ... "There is nothing out of the ordinary here," he told AP. A source at Pure tells PEOPLE: "She was absolutely not carried out of the club. Her security and Pure's security walked her out ... She didn't pass out or faint or any of that." Pink reader Jessica confirms that Britney was not carried out of the club, she was walked out by her security detail with a black blanket over her head. I, for one, missed the all the drama (not that anything could be seen up in the VIP area from the dance floor) because David and I went out to see the fireworks at midnight and then proceeded to continue our revelry back at our hotel. It wouldn't be a NYE party without Britney causing a commotion ... which is prolly why I lurve her so. [Source, Source]
Meanwhile on New Year's Day night ... Kevin Federline was doing some more of his ridiculous wrestling for the WWE ... here are some pictures of K-Fed's brief win and then utter crushing defeat during the first Monday Night Raw of 2007 at the hands of WWE champ John Cena:
For some reason the peeps at the WWE really love K-Fed ... I really think he'd do well to quit rapping and become a professional wrestler -- it just suits him. On NYE night, homie was spotted holding hands with an unknown blonde chick at the Mansion nightclub in Miami. Is love in the air for The Federline? [Source]
Love was deffo in the air for Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo as the pair locked lips and kissed for all the world to see at the stroke of midnight New Year's 2007 in Times Square:
I've always contended that La-Nessa make a great couple ... I'm happy to see that they're still going strong. Nick has really picked himself a great chick ... you gotta love a lady who can accidentally (drunkenly?) drop the F-Bomb on national TV and then recover so smoothly. [Source]
It would appear that love is also in the air for Nicole Richie and Joel Madden ... this new couple happily spent New Year's Eve together at the Palms Casino here in Las Vegas (where Joel was DJing the party at Ghost Bar) and shared a sweet kiss at the stroke of midnight:

Not to be outdone by his twin brother, People magazine is reporting that Benji Madden and Aussie actress Sophie Monk are engaged and have been engaged since Xmas Eve -- according to her publicist: "Benji proposed to Sophie in Australia on Christmas Eve," says Monk's publicist, Kacey Spies. "They are very excited and enjoying this time with family and friends." Madden gave Monk a Neil Lane platinum diamond ring. I don't believe a wedding date has been set but I have to send out much congrats and love to both Madden brothers for all of this happy news! [Source]
Single and care-free sisters Hilary and Haylie Duff spent their NYE together in Miami at Mansion nightclub (one would hope and assume not with K-Fed) and were lookin' very fine together:
Something tells me that these lovely ladies won't be single for long. [Source]
Speaking of staying single, despite erroneous reports that Kate Moss and Pete Doherty were wed over the weekend in Thailand, Kate's publicist is saying that the couple were not married at all: "Contrary to various entirely false media reports today, there has not been any kind of marriage ceremony in Thailand. She is on holiday," her spokesman, Stuart Higgins, said in a statement Tuesday. Britain's Sun and Daily Mirror had reported that the model, 32, and the Babyshambles frontman, 27, tied the knot in a candlelit ceremony on New Year's Day in the Thai resort of Phuket. Moss was spotted driving a Jeep in Phuket late last week and Doherty arrived in the country over the weekend. A source tells PEOPLE that on Monday the couple sent text messages to pals in Britain wishing them a happy New Year, but did not mention a wedding. Tho, now the newest report is that the couple merely had an unofficial commitment ceremony in Thailand and are really planning to get married in an official ceremony in London sometime soon: Kate Moss and Pete Doherty are set to have an official wedding this month after reports that they have secretly "married" in a Buddhist ceremony on a beach in Thailand. The wedding was, by all accounts, a romantic affair, with Moss, 32, wearing f lowers in her hair as the couple exchanged vows on the island of Phuket. However, the ceremony is likely to have no legal standing in this country. That is likely to change soon, as strong rumours are circulating which suggest that Kate and Pete, 27, are planning to get married on 18 January at a London register office, rumoured to be Marylebone. Uh-huh ... right. I'll believe it when I see photos and marriage documents.
In non-love news -- Kid Rock and Pamela Anderson, who are headed for divorce court, each spent their New Year's Eves here in Las Vegas ... tho at very separate parties:

Kid partied with the heavily-bearded men of ZZ Top at Jet nightclub and Pamela partied with Chuck Zito and Pauley Shore (ew!) at Tao nightclub. It's hard to say who won. I say it's a draw. [Source]
The Scissor Sisters played a stunning show in Berlin, Germany on NYE in front of 1.2 million people at the Nokia New Year's Eve concert -- you gotta love that frontman Jake Shears opted to dress as the Baby New Year:

Not to be outdone, the Black Eyed Peas also played to an audience of over 1 million people down in Rio in Brazil also at the Nokia New Year's Eve concert. Click HERE to watch that performance online as well.
Back on the love tip, we've got Nicole Kidman and a presumably dry Keith Urban enjoying a night at the fair together down in Sydney, Australia:
I am *so* pulling for these two to live happily ever after. [Source]
Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale took their little Kingston James out for his first carousel ride over the weekend:
But poor little Kingston looked a little worse for the wear afterwards. [Source]
Lance Bass and Reichen Lehmkuhl were bringing the hot man-love to the folks in Miami as the couple took to the beaches together over the weekend:

I'm not exactly sure what is going on in that last photo (altho, I do know what it looks like is going on) but I'm happy to see the boys chugging along as a happy unified entitity. I'm sure they unified their entities lovingly and often this NYE weekend ;) [Source]
Jennifer Hudson was ON FIRE at her first solo performance at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC on Friday night and here are a few photos:

Well, I'm not exactly sure what she sounded like tho I expect that she was amazing ... that said, it looked like she killed it that night. Miss Thang is well on her way to supadivadom. Just get her a few trophies (Golden Globes and Oscars should do the trick) and there'll be no stopping her. [Source]
Paris Hilton continues her Goodwill Ambassador Tour of Australia for the Bondi Blonde Beer company ... here are a couple of pictures of Paris bringing her goodwill to the sick children of the Royal North Shore Children's Hospital in Sydney, Australia:
One would assume she also brought along cases of Bondi Blonde Beer. Loves it! [Source]
Ryan Reynolds did some bike riding over the weekend in Malibu, CA:

He's just hot so I figured I'd post the pics to share the hotness. [Source]
And finally, can you guess who thinks that Celebrities Suck?

One might contend that he sucks too. [Source]

The experience was insane ... I don't know that I would call it fun necessarily. You simply cannot prepare yourself for the bracing impact once you fall out of that plane -- it's a feeling unlike I've ever experienced or will ever experience again. David had a blast ... I was pleasantly surprised in myself ... it was great. Click HERE to watch a short video of one of our fellow jumpers as she descended to the Earth from her jump. Much thanks to the folks at SkyDiveLasVegas.com for a great day!
Last night, after a few amaaaaaaazing hours at the spa (complete with massages), David and I spent the evening at Stratosphere where we wanted to ride the rides at the top of the tower ... we rode the X-Scream and the Big Shot! (Insanity was closed) and LOVED THEM SO MUCH. Truth be told, I was way more anxious about the X-Scream than I was about the airplane jump ... I think I was still shaky from the jump and then hanging a thousand feet over the ground again just amped up my heart rate again. It was fun ... but I think I'm done with the thrills for a while.
This afternoon, we pack our shizz and head back to LA together. It's been real, Vegas ... thank you so much for everything!
Hope the first day back to work wasn't too horrible for any of y'all ... I am out!
