Crash Into Me Tree

Oh yeah ... did I fail to mention (again) that the accident investigation turned up a "useable portion" of cocaine? HERE's another report on what transpired in the wee hours yesterday morn: Lindsay Lohan was arrested and cited for driving under the influence in Los Angeles in the wee hours of Saturday morning, say police, who also found a substance tentatively identified as "a usable amount of cocaine" in connection with the accident. The 20-year-old actress was slightly injured when her 2005 Mercedes SL-65 convertible struck a curb and shrub on Sunset Boulevard. The car suffered "major damage," according to police. Lohan and two other people were in the vehicle when it crashed around 5:30 a.m., Lt. Mitch McCann, media relations officer for Beverly Hills police department, said during a press conference Saturday. The star was hospitalized for minor upper chest injuries. The passengers were not hurt ... Lohan was later located by police at the Century City Hospital. Her car was found at a nearby condo complex and towed at 6:30 a.m. Police won't say how they know that the actress was driving, but say they're "confident" that she was. At the press conference McCann said: "A usable amount of an illegal narcotic tentatively identified as cocaine was recovered and booked." Police would not specify where the drugs were found. "She was charged with a misdemeanor," said McCann. "There is a potential for additional charges." [Source]
Here is the full text of the press release issued by the Beverly Hills Police Department:
With the way things have been going with celebs and the law lately (something that both Paris Hilton and Joe Francis can attest to), I think that Lindsay has cause for great concern. Depending on how the investigation pans out and what charges (if any) are brought, L. Lo could be lookin' at some serious trubs. I think the time to start praying is now. [Source]
Speaking of celebs who like to pray in their time of need, Paris Hilton was spotted perusing at another freaking book store this weekend:

That shawl over her head makes her look positively innocent. Someone should hand that girl a pardon already! [Source]
Kingston James McGregor Rossdale, the first child spawn from the loins of Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, celebrated his first birthday yesterday in NYC ... here are a few pictures of the absolutely adorable family celebrating togther:

Seriously, they are the cutest family ever! It's hard to believe that Kingston is already one years old ... my, those little tykes grow up fast. [Source]
In other birfday news, I have to send out lots of Birthday Lurve to the Queen of Goth/Punk (even tho she prolly hates it when she's called the Queen of Goth/Punk) Siouxsie Sioux of the iconic band Siouxsie and the Banshees. Siouxsie turns 50 years old today!
I've been a Siouxsie fan for longer than I can remember ... her music is such a huge part of my life (playing a very influential role in who I am, actually) that I can't even really describe what her artistry means to me. Just the other day I was listening to my iTunes music library on random and a SAtB song came on (I believe it was The Lonely One) and I was instantly transported back to 1995. I am so excited that Siouxsie is releasing her first solo album this September with a new single due out in mere weeks. Siouxsie Sioux is 50 years young and is still workin' as hard as ever. I heart her totally and wish her a very happy birthday! [Source]
Also celebrating a birthday today is Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt -- the beautiful child naturally borne of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt turns one year old today as well ... but there are no pictures from her birthday party so instead let's take a gander at pics of Angelina with her sons Maddox and Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt feeding the marine life at Marineland in Cannes, France:
Seriously, the Jolie-Pitt kids are prolly the luckiest kids on the planet. They pretty much get to do whatever they want to do just because of who they are and who their parents are. I'm sure it's a sweet life ... they sure do look happy in these pics. [Source]
In other wet beast news, here are new pictures of Hugh Jackman taking a break from filming his new movie Australia at the beach with his family and friends:

Yeah, the man is hot. He should take breaks from filming more often ;) [Source]
In other hotness news, you'll never guess who got all sauced up at the LifeBall After-Party in Vienna, Austria yesterday and then decided to roll around on the ground literally sucking face with a mysterious woman:

Yeah, I'm shocked too ... but there's no mistaking those hipster jeans and that hipster unshaven scruff belong to Adam Brody. I don't know if this is a side of Adam that I'd ever want to see again. [Source via Source]
The annual PinkPop Music Festival is underway in Landgraaf, The Netherlands where Good Charlotte, Marilyn Manson and Juliette and the Licks got things started on day one yesterday ... here are a few pics:

Yeah, that's some cool hair that Joel Madden is rockin' these days. Pinkpop continues today where Amy Winehouse, Razorlight and Snow Patrol (among others) perform and then closes on Monday when Arctic Monkeys, Scissor Sisters and Smashing Pumpkins (among others) perform. This annual festival always manages to cultivate the hottest bands and performers and this year looks to be no exception. [Source]
And finally, it's time for the Hot Dude of the Week. I hear that the weather has gotten stifling on the East Coast (and in other parts of the world) so what better excuse to dress down. Let's say hello to hot dude Tyler who looks like he's doing his best to stay cool:

Oh heck, it doesn't even have to be hot as hell outside for hot dudes like this to strip down to the their tanks and undies ... it's Memorial Day weekend, y'all -- Enjoy! [Source]
After our trip to the spa, David's friends Diana and Ikon drove up from San Diego to hang out with us. We grabbed a quick, amazing dinner at a place on Sunset called Ketchup. This place has the best french fries around ... and lots of different types of ketchup (obvs) so it's a great place to grab a delicious meal, even if it was a bit pricey. As soon as we were seated we noticed that director Kevin Smith was seated at the table next to us ... which was so random because we were seated 2 rows behind him at Wicked the night before. I think he was stalking us.
After dinner we returned to my apartment to change before going out again ... and that was that. All four of us got sucked into my couch and ended up talking and watching TV all night long. It wasn't sexy but it was fun.
Today David flies back to NYC ... and I miss him already. So ... I guess that's all for now ... there're goodbyes to be had.
I will be posting tomorrow but I'm treating the Memorial Day holiday as a weekend day so it'll be a shorter post. Have a great day ... I am out.
