Don't Make Promises You Can't Keep
Okay ... I'm doing my best to try and not discount Lindsay Lohan's commitment to beating her addictions but I have to wonder if it's really a good idea that she be leaving her rehab treatment facility so soon after checking herself in. Here are pictures of Lindsay outside the grounds of the Promises Rehab Facility in Malibu, CA earlier this week ... on at least two different occasions ... one of those occasions was a trip to the gym Um, she only just admitted herself on Monday:

Lindsay Lohan left her "serious medical treatment program" at Promises rehab facility in Malibu yesterday for a quick session at a local gym. Which of the twelve steps is the elliptical machine? She was then snapped later on in the day making an escape to God knows where. You may recall that her previous stint in rehab, at the Wonderland Rehab Center earlier this year, was an outpatient program and we've seen how successful that turned out to be. Call me cruiseazy but I just think that one has a better chance of success if they actually stay in the rehab treatment facility for the duration of the program. [Source, Source]

The NY Daily News is reporting that Miss Hilton is planning on making a grand entrance come detention day next Tuesday: Sources say the jail-bound heiress has ordered a hair and makeup team to meet her at her Hollywood Hills home at 9 a.m. Monday. It's understood that the glamorous inmate-to-be plans to turn the perp walk into a catwalk, and she wants the media to see her looking her best. "The timing is to make sure she makes all the celebrity weeklies," an insider says. "Paris is a genius at marketing herself. She managed to turn having a sex tape to her benefit, and she's going to do the same out of going to prison." But the pal observes: "It's not just about marketing, it's about making money. If she can set up her entry into jail in a very grand way, the payoff will be greater." Hilton is also said to have decided to write a prison diary during her 23-day sentence, for publication upon release. "Paris' prison diary will make a more dramatic read than Martha Stewart's," says someone with knowledge of her business dealings. Dressed causally in jeans and a navy jumper, William was spotted leaving the venue in looking a little worse for wear around 1.30am. The pair, who announced their split in April, avoided an awkward encounter at the nightspot by just 24 hours. While William has kept a low profile in the months following their break-up, the 26-year-old fashion buyer has become something of a fixture on the party circuit ... Heads definitely turned on Wednesday when Kate arrived at the Mayfair bar with a young man who bore more than a passing resemblance (receding hairline and all) to William. In sad but uplifting news, Tammy Faye gave an interview to The Insider this week in an effort to show the world just how strong her zest for life in despite suffering the ravages of her cancer struggle. Even in the face of overwhelming pain and shocking weight loss, Tammy Faye proclaims that she is not ever going to give up on life:
TAMMY FAYE MESSNER, the multi-talented former televangelist and subsequent reality star who has been battling stage IV colon cancer, made the heartbreaking announcement earlier this month that her physicians have stopped treatment. On tonight's "Insider," our one-on-one with the beloved personality is nothing short of emotional, as she openly talks about her ongoing battle with the disease. "The doctor says I'm a living miracle," Tammy tells us. "He said I shouldn't be alive" ... It is at her Charlotte residence that Tammy has been receiving hospice care for the last year, with family members by her side. "My children are scared to death," Tammy confesses. "They're with me all the time. They go everywhere I go." Tammy has written about her struggle in the autobiography, I Will Survive ... and You Will, Too!, and she gave "The Insider" her advice for FARRAH FAWCETT, who, like Tammy, has discovered her cancer has returned. "Don't give up," insists Tammy. "If you gotta lay down, lay down. If you gotta cry, cry. If you've gotta take your pills, take your pills. Whatever you have to do, do it." "The doctor says I'm a living miracle," Tammy tells us. "He said I shouldn't be alive" ... It is at her Charlotte residence that Tammy has been receiving hospice care for the last year, with family members by her side. "My children are scared to death," Tammy confesses. "They're with me all the time. They go everywhere I go." Tammy has written about her struggle in the autobiography, I Will Survive ... and You Will, Too!, and she gave "The Insider" her advice for FARRAH FAWCETT, who, like Tammy, has discovered her cancer has returned. "Don't give up," insists Tammy. "If you gotta lay down, lay down. If you gotta cry, cry. If you've gotta take your pills, take your pills. Whatever you have to do, do it." It was on May 8 that Tammy wrote on her Web site, "The doctors have stopped trying to treat the cancer and so now it's up to God and my faith," adding, "Please continue to pray for the pain and sick stomach" ... "To those of you who are suffering as I, don't give up!" she writes. "Make up your mind that you're going to LIVE!! That is NOT EASY! The path gets so long." I cannot imagine having the strength and fortitude to keep fighting such a debilitating illness like this and yet her resolve seems very strong. Tammy Faye has been thru so much in her lifetime ... from the heights of popularity to the depths of scandalous scorn and hatred, she's been thru it all. She has emerged as one of the most caring people I've ever seen come out of the televangelist world. And thank goodness that she managed to outlive that hateful Jerry Falwell (who took great pleasure in her fall from grace). Her love and acceptance of all people truly shows what Christianity should be all about. I do hope and pray that her suffering is alleviated and that she finds the peace and comfort that she absolutely deserves. [Source]

I did manage to get out for a little bit last night. I met up with Tony for dinner. He and I haven't been able to hang out in ages so it was nice that we got to spend time together. If I can talk some peeps into going out for dancing tonight (Adriana, Mike, Jim) then I might get to hang out with Tony again tonight at Pop Starz. Not sure what the weekend will be like thus far ... but I do have a couple things in the works.
