"Told You 'Bout The Seether Before ..."
Anyways, I focused solely on American Thighs, Eight Arms To Hold You and the b-sides from those 2 albums. Here are but a few of the wondrous songs that totally made my day:
The Speed of Candy, Halloween Day (Demo), Straight, Stoneface, Venus Man Trap and Pale Green.
::SIGH:: Just listening to their voices intermingling makes me ache for new Veruca Salt music.
But, that's not going to happen so I'm just going to have to busy myself with other music. PJ Harvey has released exclusive tracks on iTunes called PJ Harvey iTunes Originals. It is a cool little compilation made up of interview snippets and re-recorded versions of some her favorite songs spanning her entire career. I highly suggest that you check out the versions that are on this compilation. If you are at all a fan, I think you'll be happy with what you hear. It sounds like good stuff and the interview snippets are cute. I love Polly's English accent. Now you can understand why I am such a huge fan of iTunes. These songs are unavailable in any other format. There isn't a cd that you can buy.
I was going to download the new Rilo Kiley cd More Adventurous but Erik had to buy the cd so I didn't need to download it. I am quickly becoming a fan of The Postal Service so I'm ingesting as much of this music as I can.
But, don't let all this quality music fool you. Just to prove that I have Ø dignity I also downloaded the new Ryan Cabrera single On The Way Down (both the album version and the acoustic bonus version). I also downloaded the Lindsay Lohan song from the Princess Diaries 2 soundtrack. See, I have no shame.
BTW: NAV Bar Update -- I asked Blogger to remove the bar and they said that it couldn't be removed if they host the blog. I replied that my blog, while hosted on their servers, was upgraded to an Ad-Free account. They replied that they are unsure as to how to handle Ad-Free accounts and would get back to me. So, I took the liberty of disabling the NAV Bar until they give me the final answer. We'll see ...
