In Labor

Ugh, we drove home from East Lansing after the wedding reception last night so we slept in for a bit today. There was talk of doing a little tour of Downriver (with the focus on hanging out in Wyandotte, MI on the pier on the Detroit river) but that really didn't come to fruition. I had to go into work for a little while to make sure that the projects I started on Friday were commencing properly ... they were so I was only there for a few minutes. Erik and I decided to save our tour of Downriver for another day.

We decided to head over to Royal Oak for a quick bite to eat and an indie flick. We saw the movie We Don't Live Here Anymore because, as we are want to do, we only see depressing/sad/scary/disturbing movies when we go out on dates. This movie was no exception -- a tale of misery and adultery. That said, it was a very good movie. I hated every character in it but I think that was the point.

After we returned home we watched 3 episodes of Buffy (we're going to try and get back into the swing of things) and are nearing the end of season 3. Wee!

Tomorrow I have to go to work for Freshmen orientation. Classes begin on Wednesday and I can't hardly wait. Boo!

I'm out for tonight, Erik and I need some alone quality time so ... bye ...
