Visiting Hours Are Open

I still question the decision for Lindsay to leave her treatment center to go out for coffee or to go to the gym but I suppose as long as she remains true to the nature of her treatment program than I suppose no harm is done. It's just that we've seen how unsuccessful an outpatient program can be for her and I'd just hate to see her waste this opportunity to get better. Lindsay looked absolutely thrilled to get a visit from one of her favorite bodyguards (seeing her this happy is a very good sign) ... tho, it's a bit surprising that no one from her family has deigned to show up yet. Ah well, as long as Lindsay takes things one day at a time I know she can be successful in her attempt to handle her addictions. [Source]
And for completeist's sake, here are a couple more Jill Stuart ads featuring Lindsay Lohan:
I posted the newest larger ad yesterday but these two images were released last week. [Source]
Paris Hilton went out recently to get one last work-out at the gym under her belt before she has to turn herself in to start serving her 23 day jail sentence next Tuesday morning. Here are pictures of a seemingly happy Paris hamming it up for all the cameras:

With only 3 full days left before she has to submit herself to a jail cell, I'm sure she's beginning to feel the heat. Working out is a great way to work out tension and can offer people the chance to sort things out in their heads. Good for Paris and her physical fitness!!! [Source]
So ... The England soccer team, with David Beckham back in their ranks, took on the Brazilian soccer team in competitive play at Wembley Stadium last night and there is some good news and some bad news. The good news is that Becks' and his team mates did not lose the match ... the bad news is that they didn't win the match either (no win = no half-nekkidness = boo). Here are some pictures of a jubilant Becks doin' his thing on the soccer field:
I suppose a draw is the best possible scenario for everyone involved ... that way neither team suffers defeat and everyone can go home happy. Tho, I must admit, I was looking forward to more nekkid celebration to come out of this match. No matter, seeing Becks this happy (and practically hump-straddling his team mate John Terry) is good enough. Next up for Team England is a match against Estonia next Wednesday ... here's hoping for a big win for the Brits! [Source, thanks Kelly]
Well now ... it appears that Kate Middleton has been keeping herself very bizzy these past few days. Yesterday we saw pictures of her out with some dude who looked an awful lot like her ex Prince William. Today we have pics of Miss Middleton out with an old
Prince William's ex Kate Middleton has a new date - one of his former love rivals. Ms Middleton was pictured this week with shipping heir Henry Ropner, 25, the former boyfriend of Jecca Craig, who William dated after she split up with Henry. Now it appears Henry, a former Eton schoolmate of William — has got his own back by hitting the town with Kate less than two months after she and the Prince split. A source has told The Sun newspaper: "Henry is delighted to be there for Kate now that she's split from William. They've been meeting up and enjoying themselves. "There's been a lot of flirting. Now she's single, Kate is enjoying Henry's company regularly. Henry is very wealthy. He has moved in William's circle for years." This week Henry and Kate were photographed leaving Mahiki, then she then left for one of William's favourite bars, Boujis ... Kate's tendency to tread on her ex's old stomping ground has been the source of mild annoyance for the Prince. "Since their split she has taken to hanging out at all his favourite bars which has irritated him a little, even though the break-up remains perfectly amicable," an insider said. Um hmm ... amicable, eh? You just know that this Henry dude is just loving this drama right now. I gotta admit, I find Prince Wills and Kate Middleton much more interesting since their breakup ... it's kinda interesting to see them moving on without one another. Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if they reconciled at some point. [Source]
Ben Affleck gave the commencement address at Falls Church High School, near Washington, D.C. where he was invited to speak at the graduation because of his friendship with Joe Kindregan whom Ben met 10 years ago on the set of one of his movies. Here are a couple pics from the commencement ceremony:

Ben Affleck told high school graduates Friday he was an unlikely person to give them advice – then gave it anyway. "I haven't been in space, I'm not a politician, I'm not a super hero – I'm not even a gangster," he said at the commencement for Falls Church High School, near Washington, D.C. "I've only pretended to be all of those – in some cases just barely ... What others say about you means nothing. What you say about you means everything. Your job is to make other people see you as you are" ... Affleck ... was introduced by his friend Joe Kindregan, 19, a Falls Church High graduate whom Affleck met about 10 years ago when Kindregan visited the set of Forces of Nature. The teen-ager has ataxia-telangiectasia, a rare, degenerative diseases. The Make-a-Wish Foundation flew him to the movie's premiere. Kindregan described Affleck as an award-winning writer and actor "married to the cutest girl. ... But most importantly, he's the best friend you could ever have." Affleck turned to the teen [saying] "You're right about my wife," he said. Jennifer Garner, 35, was seated in the front row during the ceremony. Paying tribute to Kindregan, Affleck said, "I'm here because what I learned about the distance between how you see someone and who they are, I didn't learn in Hollywood, I learned from a classmate of yours, my friend, Joe Kindregan." He also joked that after the students received their diplomas, they'd have the same number of degress he does. "We will be tied," he said. "I'm sure many of you could teach me quite a bit. In fact, I'm sure many of you could school me on that Smarter than a Fifth Grader Show. How cool that Ben Affleck would show up to speak at his friend's commencement ceremony after fostering a friendship with the kid for 10 years. I also like that Ben kept his address "real" and highlighted the fact that he is only a high school graduate as well. Kudos to Bennifer v. 2.0 for showing up for this graduation ... they both just scored big points in my book. [Source]
Sofia Coppola was spotted showing off her beautiful baby girl Romy on the streets of NYC earlier this week ... and by the looks of this little beauty, I'm sure she was happy to do so:

From what I understand, Sofia ain't got any work on her schedule for the foreseeable future so I think she's just happy being a mommy for right now. With a cute little daughter like this I can't say that I really blame her. [Source]
Courtney Love made her long-awaited return to the stage last night when she performed some songs with Linda Perry at the House of Blues here in LA. HOB is notorious for not allowing anyone to photograph their shows so it's unclear if any will surface from last night's show ... but here are a couple pictures, taken by Romy Suskin and posted to the C. Love fansite Moon Washed Rose, of Courtney rehearsing with Linda Perry earlier this week:

Courtney Love performed four songs off her upcoming album 'Nobody's Daughter' at The House of Blues in Los Angeles last night (June 1). Rather than performing a full set, Love came on as a "special guest" in the middle of a show by her collaborator and producer Linda Perry. After Perry had played a short set of her own material, she joked that she'd happened upon a promising artist, saying: "She's got a cool name and a rock star thing going". Love then marched on stage in skinny black stretch pants, heels, a tight tank top, and loose black suspenders. "Linda discovered me at Guitar Center because I'm such a genius on guitar," she joked before kicking off her set with the title track of 'Nobody's Daughter'. With Perry featuring on Love's upcoming album as co-songwriter and co-producer, the former Non-Blonde also took on the role of co-frontwoman at the gig, singing along and strumming an acoustic guitar during Love's songs ... She clutched her mic stand and assumed expert rock star poses, headbanging a number of times and dropping to her knees. On her final song she reached out one hand to fans as she led them in a call and response. James Blunt, who has also worked with Perry, watched the show from the balcony ... After her final song, Love embraced Perry from behind, giving her collaborator's breasts an affectionate squeeze, before she made her way into the wings and watched as Perry wrapped up her show. Well, it's about time ... I must say. I'm actually a fan of Courtney's music (both from Hole and her solo stuff) so it's encouraging to hear that she's finally gettin' back on stage and performing some new stuff. It sounds like C. Love is finally ready to get back on the horse and become a musician again. It's been far too long. [Source]
Here is a picture of Robert Downey, Jr. posing with one of his Iron Man masks that will be featured in the new superhero movie that is due to be released next year:
MTV was able to visit the set of the new movie to see how things are progressing and by the sounds of it, everyone involved is very excited for the movie's release. I'm not sure if there are droves of Iron Man fans out there like there are Batman or Superman fans but I, for one, am excited for the film's release. I was never a diehard fan but I do remember having a fascination with the hero when I was very little. The costume looks great and the cast seems solid (Gwyneth Paltrow is in it, for Pete's sake) so I'm very encouraged. May 2, 2008 seems so far away ... but I am geeked for this movie. [Source]
And finally, it's time for this week's batch of picture submissions sent in by Pink is the new Blog readers. This week there is a bit of a school theme ... Phil did such a good job dancing his ass off at his Senior Prom that his classmates named him Prom King -- Kar'Lei and Cody lookin' F-I-N-E at their Senior Ball -- Shawna sends in a pic of the after-effects of a long night at Prom followed by a long day of work the next day -- Sam and Sara celebrating their graduation from Boston University this year -- Karen celebrating the completion of her finals at Oxford University in England and lookin' utterly faboo in the gowns that Oxford students have to wear during finals:
Thank you and much congrats to you all. It seems like ages since I've had to deal with proms, finals and graduations but seeing all of your fun pictures is such a treat. Thank you all, so much, for taking the time to share your good times with all of us! XO

Needless to say, AY was totally thrilled! It is so great having Sarah here in LA again ... at least for a little while. We don't really have big plans this weekend, we're just gonna chill. I am taking her to a thing that I have to do this afternoon but after that the weekend is a total blank slate. I'm sure we'll be able to figure out some fun stuff to do ... I'm also sure there will be much time to just hang out and do nothing like we always do when we're together.
Have a happy weekend, y'all! I am out!!!
