A-Maze-ing
The Beckhams haven't even moved to Los Angeles yet and already Victoria Beckham is marking her territory everywhere she goes. It doesn't seem like a coincidence that Po$h has been seen at every LA hot spot since she arrived a few days ago on her most recent house-hunting expedition. Here are pictures of VB putting in a little face time at Kitson -- the most famous boutique on Robertson Blvd. in West Hollywood, CA:

Hmm ... she didn't actually buy anything ... she just prowled around the store, handling a few items managing to hang out just long enough for a nice horde of paparazzos to collect in front of the store to follow her around as she shopped at other stores on Robertson. The message seems clear ... she is definitely planning TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD AND THIS IS HER WARNING THAT WE ARE ALL DOOOOOOMED! [Source]
After spending the day shopping for nothing, Po$h met up with her new BFFs Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise for a little bite to eat together ... and I think you'll be SHOCKED to learn that they dined at The Ivy:

Er ... I don't know what it is that the threesome dined on but ... I'm sure I don't want to know. So basically, VB spent all afternoon shopping on Robertson, she went back to her hotel to change and then meet up with TomKat and then they all returned to dine on Robertson later on that evening. We are all doomed for sure. [Source]
While Vic is bizzying herself in LA with getting photographed at all hours of the day, bread winner David Beckham is back in Spain holding down the fort until he can break free of his Real Madrid soccer contract and join his
Why must he be so pretty? But, I digress ... there is a lot of hullabaloo over the disparaging remarks made about Beck$ by the president of the Real Madrid soccer team -- but I really don't think DB should worry about it at all. He is gonna be making more money than he knows what to do with ... soon enough he'll be able to buy as many baby tees as he likes from Kitson -- he could even buy Kitson if he wanted to. In fact, he might even be able to buy the entire Real Madrid soccer team and then poop on them if he so desires. Er ... I really hope he doesn't do that last one tho ... it would prolly make him seem a lot less sexier. [Source]

Naomi Campbell finally stepped up and admitted in open court that she is guilty of assaulting her personal assistant with a deadly BlackBerry mobile phone and she did so lookin' as chic as could be ... for 1983:

"I threw a cell phone in the apartment. The cell phone hit Ana," Campbell told Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Robert Mandelbaum. "This was an accident because I did not intend to hit her." If convicted at trial, Campbell, who originally had been charged with second-degree felony assault, could have been sentenced to two to seven years in prison. Campbell, 36, hit Ana Scolavino in the back of the head with the phone in the supermodel's Manhattan apartment last March. Scolavino was treated for a head injury. In exchange for her guilty plea, Campbell must pay Scolavino's medical expenses of $363, do five days of community service and attend a two-day anger management program. The British catwalker wore stiletto heels, a thin gold anklet on her right leg under sheer black hose, a formfitting black dress under a charcoal gray, waist-length jacket and several gold chains around her neck. Outside the courthouse, her lawyer, David Breitbart, said he didn't want Campbell exposed to stalkers, so "I'm hopeful she can do the community service indoors." Assistant District Attorney Shanda Strain indicated in court that she had no objection to Campbell working indoors. LOL! She doesn't want to end up like Boy George who was sentenced to picking up trash in Manhattan for about 5 days in plain sight of the world's cameras. I really hope the judge goes easy on poor Naomi ... I really feel she's learned her lesson. She's gone at least 2 weeks without beating the hell out of anyone. [Source]
Donald Trump was honored in Hollywood yesterday by receiving the 2,327th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame:
"It really has been a special moment in my life," Trump said. He said "The Apprentice" has been an "absolutely amazing experience." Trump's baby son, Barron, almost managed to steal the show as his father held him at the podium. "He's strong, he's smart, he's tough, he's vicious, he's violent - all of the ingredients you need to be an entrepreneur, and most importantly, hopefully he's smart because smart is really the ingredient," the 60-year-old billionaire developer said. Barron, meanwhile, had taken a firm grip on the microphone. "Uh, oh, he won't give up the mike," said Trump. Blah ... sometimes it's just really gross how easily these honors are handed out. This star on the "Walk of Fame" used to mean something ... now it's just a way to promote a TV show or a movie. I guess it's fitting that drunks on the streets of Hollywood will just end up urinating on this honor one day ... prolly tonight. [Source]
It looks like things between Mandy Moore and DJ Adam Goldstein AM are really heating up ... the pair have started openly hugging in public:

Something tells me that it takes a little while for Mandy to give up the goods to a dude ... it looks like AM is going to have to content himself with the hugging for quite some time now if he ever hopes to visit the promised land. [Source]
DJ AM's one-time girlfriend Nicole Richie has been flying solo for the past few days (ever since she arrived home from Mexico where she was on holiday with her new friend Joel Madden) ... here are a few pics of Nicole at a hair salon getting her hair colored blonde:

I love it! She likes to read the National Enquirer while she gets shampooed! LOL! I'm not sure why she was so shy with her new look afterwards ... oh wait, yes ... I think THIS is why she chose to cover up her head. Yipes! [Source]
Diana Ross has unpacked herself from the moth balls and has started working again ... with a new album, titled I Love You, on the horizon and a mentoring gig on American Idol, Ms. Ross is definitely stepping into the lime light again. Here are a couple pics of Diana as she emerged on the streets of NYC to press the flesh with her fans:
Dang ... she looks pretty good for being about 100 years old ... definitely a lot hotter with all that make up on (cuz we know what she looks like without the make up on -- EEK!). Diana confessed to David Letterman last night that she has never seen either the musical or movie version of Dreamgirls. I, somehow, find that hard to believe ... but she did say that she would eventually like to see the movie version saying, "What I would like to do is to be able to see it. I like to inspire the talent that it is out there today." Or ... you know ... to sue or something. Once a diva, always a diva. Bow down, bitches. [Source]

Alicia Silverstone is featured in a sexy new PETA ad in which she extolls the virtues of choosing to wear pleather over leather ... and she's extolling said virtues on all fours:
While I abhor fur, I do admit that love to eat meat and use leather products so I'm not quite on board with this campaign ... but I can appreciate and respect the sentiment -- especially since Alicia looks so hawt in the pic. If this ain't enough sexy Alicia Silverstone for ya ... click HERE to download another pleather wallpaper for your computer desktop. [Source]
And finally ... I want to give a quick shout-out to Pink reader Colleen who, unbeknownst to her, became my 30,000th friend on My Space yesterday evening:
Trust me, I know that I do not have 30,000 friends for real (especially since prolly 20,000 of those "friends" are bands on My Space) but I'm still pretty shocked that I've gotten so many friend requests over the years. Much love to all y'all who play with me on My Space. Note: If you have a fun Pink Reader picture to submit, post it in the comments so that everyone can see it too! xoxoxo [Source]

Last night I had to get out of the house so I decided to go see a movie ... something light, fun and whimsical ... so of course I went to see Pan's Labyrinth which is none of those things:
Let me just tell you ... I absolutely LOVE anything that director Guillermo del Toro puts out there. He has such an amazing eye for detail that I always know that his movies will be a treat for the senses ... Pan's Labyrinth is no exception. I've heard that that movie is "heavy" so I went in expecting the worse -- and while the movie is dark, I gotta say that I really loved the story as a whole as it was presented. The movie starts out innocent enough ... you can see tinges of stark reality (esp. the first time you see the fairy) ... but then it takes a really stark turn when the Captain does this thing with a bottle -- it's not pretty and from that point on you know that the tone of the movie is changing. This movie is told in the way that real fairy tales should be told -- not in the sanitized Disney way but in the darker, scarier way they were originally written. There are creepy and gross things in this tale and yet, the whimsy and fantastical nature of the story seems to make those things seem right.
The acting was superb ... the little girl who played Ofelia (Ivana Baquero) and the woman who played Mercedes (Maribel Verdu) where both exquisite. They both offered the right level of poignancy and believability that is integral to a story like this one. This movie is not one for the kiddies ... but it's amazing nonetheless. I really wish there were more films like this out there ... I love the fantasy of this type of dark tale. It had the saddest happy ending I've ever seen ... pitch perfect for this film.
Okay ... that is all ... I'm off to the airport ... I'll be coming atcha from Detroit for the rest of the week. I'm out.
