A Crowning Achievement
I knew it would only be a matter of time before Britney Spears was spotted out on the streets of Los Angeles after just being released from her rehab program earlier this week. I feared that she might revert to her dangerous partying ways and show up at a nightclub or a strip joint but, thus far, that hasn't been the case. Miss Brit was seen out for dinner with a few friends at the Shu-Sushi House Unico on Beverly Glen in the Hollywood Hills. Pink readers Romina, Tina, Talar & Taline were lucky enough to be at the restaurant at the same time:

Romina writes: We spotted Britney Spears and three of her girlfriends dining at SHU (Sushi House Unico) at the Glen Center in Bel-Air. It's kind of a hidden center, so we don't get surprised when we see a lot of other celebrities hanging out there ... She looked incredibly cute in person wearing a black wig and cap. She looked like she was having a good time dining on sushi with iced teas all around. A lot of the other customers were taking pictures of her table but unfortunately we didn't have a camera. There were about 30 paparazzi guarding both front and back entrances of the restaurant and when Britney and her friends were trying to leave it took about 20 minutes for them to find a good exit. On our way out, my friend Tina asked her if she should be her diversion and she said, "that would be great...thanks!" Finally her driver or manager (not a bodyguard) came to the front entrance and told all the paparazzi to give her 10 feet and make a tunnel for her to walk out. As she came out of the restaurant, it was purely chaotic. As they were backing up to take pictures, they were toppling over trash cans and falling into big planters. We were outside during all this and Britney actually turned around to my friend Tina and said sweetly, "thank you for the diversion...maybe next time." Awww ... now this is the cute kind of Britney story I like to hear. It was nice of the girls to try and help Britney out. I'm so glad to hear that Britney looked happy and was having a great time with her friends. So far, she's been keepin' her nose clean and out of trouble. Naomi Campbell has finally finally completed her 5-day community service sentence as an NYC sanitation worker and really decided to make her final exit a huge spectacle. Dressed in a sequined silver evening gown, Naomi emerged from her work-week long place of employment ... where a white Rolls Royce was waiting to whisk her away once and for all:

I realize that Naomi was only trying to be cheeky and to have a little fun with the paparazzi but I must say, I am not impressed with her behavior. Instead of being humbled and punished for her crime she seemed to have as much fun with her punishment as she possibly could. She treated each trek to work as a catwalk runway show and pranced out of the building on her very last day as if she were royalty. Celebrities barely get punished for the crimes they commit and when they are "punished" they are treated with kid gloves. I'm not sure what lesson Naomi Campbell learned from her community service punishment. What's to stop Naomi Campbell from assaulting another one of her employees again? Certainly not another 5-day long attention-grabbing stint as a sanitation worker. [Source]

Pamela Anderson and Denise Richards are a couple of extremely dangerous women ... so says a law suit filed this week by a couple of paparazzi photographers who have been so traumatized by the celebs' aggressive behavior. Yeah ... for real:

Two photogs are claiming that an alleged violent incident involving Denise Richards and Pam Anderson has caused them to have nightmares, and now they want the dream babes to pay up. In a lawsuit filed today in Los Angeles County Superior Court, Scott Cosman and Rik Fedyck claim that Denise Richards went into violent rage when she spotted them taking photographs of the actresses on the Canadian set of their upcoming movie "Blonde and Blonder" in early November 2006. According to the lawsuit, Richards "launched into a verbal tirade and a physical assault upon Cosman and Fedyck which lasted over 20 minutes" at the River Rock Casino Resort in Vancouver. During the incident, which the men claim was all caught on tape by a hotel security camera, Richards allegedly called the men "f**king c**ksucker at least 12-15 times as well as scumbags, douche bags and paparazzi scum." According to the lawsuit, Richards then "snatched their laptop computers from their hands, and threw them over the [hotel] balcony" and into the lobby. One of the computers allegedly struck "an elderly woman in a wheelchair." LOL! If Naomi Campbell physically assault her assistant with a cell phone and get away with only 5-days of community service than this case has no chance of success. If anything, Pam and Denise might end up kicking the paps' asses for causing trubs in the first place. LOL! [Source]

I'm happy for the distraction, David just left for a 10 day trip to Thailand this morning and we won't be able to talk every other hour like we're used to. I know he's gonna have a blast ... but I miss him already. I hope you Thailanders take good care of him while he's there :)
