It's A Brand Nouvel Day
Welp ... it looks like manny fever is taking over the world! Y'all know that I've been singing the praises of Sean Preston's new male nanny for weeks now but the rest of the world is just now starting to take notice. It has been confirmed that the manny's name is Perry Taylor and he is a Naval Academy graduate ... which makes him perfect nanny stock:
Britney's hitherto mysterious companion is Perry Taylor, a 28-year-old Naval Academy graduate who played on Navy's lacrosse team and who grew up and went to high school in the Washington, D.C., area. What's more, quelling rumors that Perry may be taking the place of K-Fed, Perry's mom, Caroline, tells TMZ her son is living with a six-foot brunette (she's Perry's height) and that she's been his girlfriend for two years. Perry's mom calls the girlfriend "a bombshell" and coos she's "the best girl he's ever been with. They're really happy" ... And if there was any question about whether he was helping out with the Sean Preston diaper detail, his mother told TMZ that the answer's pretty clear: "He's just beginning to learn about babies," she says, adding that not too long ago he asked a friend of his how old babies have to be before they open their eyes. Hmmm ... interesting information from the manny's mommy but I'm still holding out hope that Perry will prove to save our Britney from herself. I find it very interesting that Britney decided to hire a dude with zero experience in handling children to help her care for her only child. The world's most coveted baby pictures are finally being published in magazines and newspapers all over the world ... here in the US, Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt will make her debut in the pages of People magazine (which actually hit newsstands today, with a slightly higher selling price for this issue only) but she also appears on the cover of yesterday's late edition of the New York Post. I wouldn't be surprised if this issue of People magazine ends up breaking sales records ... everyone is clamoring to get their hands on these baby pictures.
Over in Europe, Shiloh makes her debut in the pages of Hello! magazine which hit newsstands today. Pink reader Cammy queued early to get her hands on one of the first issues of Hello! to hit the streets ... she was nice enough to send me the scans from the mag. She is the so adorable ... she definitely has Angelina Jolie's lips and I suspect she's going to look just like her daddy, Brad Pitt. The pics are so sweet but I can't wait to get my hands on my own copy of People magazine.
Hmm ... I wonder what's going on with Nicole Richie these days ... yesterday we saw pictures of her launching an attack on the paparazzi with a bottle of Fiji water and today we've got pictures of Nicole trying to, ridiculously, hide her face from the camera's view:
What the crap? Nicole is never shy when it comes to getting her picture taken and now, all of the sudden, she's going all Ashley Olsen on us? Pink reader Adam happened upon the set earlier this week and sends in a quick report: Just wanted to let you know that my friends and I saw Kathy Griffin perform last night here in New York (it was genius!), and as we were walking out, the street was blocked off, and it turned out that they were filming more of Spiderman 3. We scurried over to the other side of the street, and they were filming a scene in a Broadway theatre done up with a marquee that said 'Manhattan Memories' and the third name billed on the marquee was 'Mary Jane Watson' (aka Kirsten Dunst). Tobey was standing in the doorway coiffed in a grey pinstripe suit, and there were swarms of extras posing as crowds waiting for an autograph from Mary Jane. Woot! How fun ... it's a pity that I won't be back in NYC for a few weeks ... I'm sure by the time I get back to the city they won't be filming as much around town. [Source, Source]

Last night we hooked up with Jim and Davey and all went to the Nylon/My Space magazine party which was hosted by Michelle Trachtenberg and Joel & Benji Madden (who each took turns behind the turntables to provide the evening's tunes). The Academy Is ... performed at the shindig and a bunch of other celebs were partying there as well:
I got to hang a bit with Michelle and the Madden boys (Hilary Duff is in NYC unforch) ... but also got to meet Rachel Bilson (sweetest.girl.ever.), Pete Wentz and Talan Torriero from Laguna Beach. The big surprise was that Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz also showed up at the party. You're never gonna believe this but Cameron came over to say hello and tell me that she's a fan of PITNB. I may not be cool with her stance on not wanting to be photographed and refusing to sign autographs for fans but I think it was hella cool of her to come over and compliment me on my blog.
Even Tom from My Space was there ... he was really cool and also mentioned that he is a fan of PITNB. I'm so glad that we're friends on My Space :)
One more thing for you Good Charlotte fans, Joel tells me that the new album is set for an October release and it won't be long before we get to hear some new shizz. Woot!
