Phony Matrimony

This has to be the most talked-about show since Sex and the City where all the talking seems to happen before filming is even finished. I dunno why I'm so fascinated with the creation process of the eps ... maybe because the production crew is so cool with letting anyone take pictures; maybe I just like seeing how the process evolves to the final product in the end. It's kind of like a reality TV show ... we see the action getting filmed and then it gets processed and then aired on TV later on down the line ... except this fictional show doesn't look as fake as the reality crap that makes it to TV. In any event, when the wedding ep airs in a few weeks we can think back on this day when we got to see the filming actually taking place ... it's kinda like we're there. OK, not really but I think it's cool anyways. [Source]
UPDATE: Pink reader Brian sends in this short report regarding the GG wedding scene filming:
I thought I'd let you know that last night after seeing Sara Barillas downtown we walked uptown and passed the Palace Hotel at like 2am. Where Leighton Meister was hard at work filming scenes for the show. They were out all night, the wedding seems to be taking place in the court yard of the hotel, which we've seen on the show several times. Instead of walking down the isle they appear to be walking out of one of the restaurants and into the court yard to the procession ... However, we still don't know if a wedding actually takes place.
He's right ... we really don't know if they actually go thru with the wedding ... I guess we'll have to tune in to find out.
