Sean Vs. Shawn
This month's batch of nekkid Cosmo men includes the insanely hawt Sean Faris (Never Back Down) and the insanely cute Shawn Ashmore (X-Men) ... so the question becomes, which Sean/Shawn is the hotter one?
Mr. Faris has the unfair advantage of being both nekkid and wet (Lord, have mercy) but Mr. Ashmore really knows how to fill out that Canadian flag. To be completely honest, they've both got their own individual appeal so I'll be a stand-up guy and call it a tie. Woot! If the US version of Cosmo magazine had this feature in their magazine, I'd happily sign up for a subscription immediately :) [Source]

Nighty Night, Suge Knight
Suge was at Shag nightclub when he began arguing with a man he had been talking with. Our spy overheard Suge say, "I want my money!" Suge and his peeps beat the guy to the ground, but the man landed a right hook on Suge's face, knocking him out for around three minutes.
MMM MMM ... I guess it really only takes one good punch to win a fight. Yeah, the first thing I thought of when I saw this pic was the scene from the movie Friday where Smokey utters THIS line to a knocked out Debo (who kinda looks a bit like Suge). OK, I'm gonna stop writing now cuz I don't want to anger anyone anymore than I might've already with this post ... but just to clarify, the photos are TMZ's so if anyone in particular wants to be angry, they should be angry at Harvey Levin and not me ;) [Source]
Incidentally, the guy who knocked Suge out with one punch is only 5'10" and weighs 173 lbs. Hmmm. Expect this young man to disappear off the face of the Earth very soon.

Sex And The City Has Its First Premiere
As Carrie Bradshaw she enthralled women across the UK with her kooky style for six years. So it's no surprise Sarah Jessica Parker turned up for the movie premiere of Sex and the City with an attention grabbing hat. On top of her blonde curly hair, the green creation sat looking more like a bowl of fruit than a headpiece. Along with a pistachio prom-style dress, the 43-year-old showed she is still unafraid to pioneer a new style. The cast of Sex in the City wore a mixture of English and American designers to the world premier last night. Sarah wore Alexander McQueen, Kristen Davis opted for vintage and Cynthia Nixon chose a Calvin Klein gown and Chopard diamond and sapphire necklace, earrings and ring worth 200,000, while Kim Cattrall wore Vivienne Westwood. The film of the HBO tv show has been hotly anticipated since it went into production last year. The film finds friends Carrie (Parker), Samantha, (Kim Cattrall), Charlotte (Kristin Davis) and Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) continuing to juggle work and relationships, while navigating motherhood. Chris Noth reprises his role as Carrie's Mr Big, David Eigenberg is Miranda's down-to-earth husband Steve, Evan Handler plays Charlotte's dependable husband Harry, and Jason Lewis makes a showing as actor Smith - Samantha's devoted lover. When pressed to give some clue as to the film's content, Parker said it was "about forgiveness and pursuing love in a way that is real and meaningful". "I think it's about what it means to be a grown-up, and to recognise your own complicity and disappointment," the BBC previously reported her as saying. "I think in your 20s you spend a lot of time making the boys the villains. "There's a difference when you're 40. You really experience loss and disappointment and you have to reconcile what part you played in it."
Um, what? I was under the impression the movie would be about sex and shoes and shopping and sex and cosmos and sex and fashion and sex ... was I wrong? Man, I just know the movie is gonna rule ... the early buzz is that the film turned out just the way fans hoped it would turn out. We are still a little over 2 weeks away from the film's release here in the US and there are still a few more premieres in the meantime. I wonder what sort of crazy accessories SJP has planned for the other red carpets to come. [Source]

Jessica Simpson & Tony Romo Are Dunzo?
Tony Romo had a bachelor-style hard partying weekend in the Windy City these past couple of days and now we know why. We exclusively have learned that Romo and girlfriend Jessica Simpson have broken up! Romo partied with several of his college buddies from his alma mater Eastern Illinois over the weekend and he told them on Saturday night that him and Simpson were on the outs. "They're broken up," according to a pal of the Dallas Cowboys quarterback. "He told us they broke up and that was that. We're guys so we didn't talk about it much." A broken heart didn't stop this professional athlete from partying like a rock star! Romo began his night on Saturday at new Chicago hotspot Uncle Fatty's Rum Resort in the Lakeview area of the Windy City. "[Tony was] having a blast playing Pop-A-Shot mini golf and bags," according to a source. "He was with some football college buddies and drinking Grey Goose and Diet Cokes." After spending hours at the reggae bar, Romo and his crew headed to Manor nightclub. Romo and his boys sat in a huge VIP table in a roped off VIP section and welcomed many girls to hang out with them. "He was surrounded by girls," according to an eyewitness. "We had to restrain some who forcibly tried to make their way to his table." Apparently, the girls at da club weren't enough for Romo and his friends. They sent the nightclub's bus to pick up more girls from the Hard Rock Hotel where Romo and his friends were crashing. Romo's night entailed a bevy of beauties, including one blonde in particular he spent a lot of time talking to, and an "impressive" amount of alcohol. "He zeroed in on one blonde all night," a source said. "That blonde wasn't Jessica Simpson." ... On Sunday, a hung over looking Romo attended the Cubs-Diamondbacks game at Wrigley Field where he threw out the first pitch. Romo hid in a huge blue Cubs sweatshirt and didn't talk much. A fan asked Romo at the game if he was excited for Ashlee Simpson's wedding to Pete Wentz and if he has gotten her a baby gift. He said: "I don’t know anything about that."
HMMMM ... do you suppose it was Tony's horrible singing that ended the relationship? Or was it Jessica's horrible singing? I'm not sure I entirely believe that the couple have ended their relationship ... it sounds more like Tony just had a fun weekend with his boys (and many bottles of Grey Goose) ... but you never know ... it has been a while since Jessimo have been seen together. I guess time will tell but considering Jessica Simpson's track record in the love department, well, I wouldn't be shocked if they are dunzo after all. [Source]

The TV Guide: A Wicked Cool Encore!
It was really very spectacular getting to see the behind-the-scenes stuff on stage. Megan showed us all the trap doors, showed us a bunch of her props (we got to hold her magic wand) and then took us into her dressing room for a quick photo session (where I had to try on her very heavy crown ... I refrained from trying on any of her dresses tho ;). Her performance last night was just amazing ... she was so on, funny as usual and really performed her heart out. As you can see in the last photo, a whole lotta Wicked fans waited patiently in a very long line to meet the cast. I'm gonna miss seeing her in the role but I am also very excited to see her as Doralee Roberts in the new 9 to 5 musical.
All my love goes out to Megan for taking the time to meet with us last night, I totally <3 you!! Much love goes out to PJ for helping orchestrate our backstage meet and greet with Megan, you rule!! xoxo
After the show, Darion and I raced over to Prizzi's Piazza for a pizza dinner with Steph, Alek and Jordan:
It was just a really fun night overall :)
Tonight, I'm headed up into the Hollywood Hills for the finale event for the MTV show The Hills ... make sure you tune in during the preshow (from 8pm til 10pm) cuz I think there might be something worth seeing :) Besides, y'all have to watch the season finale of The Hills tonight so that we can have something to goss about tomorrow.

Katie Holmes spent part of her Mother's Day weekend with her husband Tom Cruise and her child-like offspring Suri Holmes-Cruise (along with her step Cruise children Connor and Isabella) at the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA watching David Beckham and the LA Galaxy lose to the New York Red Bulls on Saturday evening. Gwen Stefani spent her Saturday afternoon with her husband Gavin Rossdale and her adorable little son Kingston James at the LA Zoo. Liv Tyler spent Sunday with her son Milo (just days after she announced that she and her hubby Langdon are dunzo) and a happy Cate Blanchett enjoyed her first mother's day with her almost a month-old son Ignatius. All the mommy's look so happy, whatever their circumstance (impending divorce for one of them, enduring incarceration for another) ... it looks like it was a great weekend for all these lovely ladies.
Over in Monaco ... Angelina Jolie took her daughters Zahara and Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt (along with the rumored twin girls she is carrying in her womb) for a shopping spree:
Unfortch for Zahara, the trip looked like a total bore. Shiloh didn't look bored so much as she looked ... angelic. Man, that little girl is gonna be a stunner.
Michelle Williams celebrated Mother's Day Sunday at a park in Brooklyn, NY with her daughter Matilda Rose ... the first Mother's Day since Matilda's daddy Heath Ledger passed away. Despite the somberness of the occasion, it looks like Michelle and Matilda had a fun day nonetheless:

I am very happy to see that both Michelle and Matilda are doing well so soon after Heath's passing. I imagine Father's Day might be a bit tougher to endure but I'm sure the resolve of both Michelle and Matilda will be able to carry them thru. Again, Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there ... I hope it was a great one for all y'all!!

Happy Pre-Mama's Day, Jamie Lynn!
Lawd, these two have got some really bad hair (Casey looks like he just took a Tupperware bowl off his head) ... but I don't imagine there is much discriminating taste at the Galilee First Baptist Church in the first place. The coldest cockles of my heart are warmed by the happy faces of these two unwed soon-to-be parents ... you can just feel the joy emanating from their felicitous countenances. I bet the couple were prayin' for a miracle during their church visit ... I dunno that they can really count on prayers to save them at this point. They just need to grin and bear it ... and prepare for a long life together as parents. Happy Mother's Day, JL!!! [Source]

Happy Mama's Day, Britney!
It's really great seeing Britney back in the company of her mother these days ... I believe things were falling apart with Mama Lynne around this time last year so it's nice that they can enjoy Mother's Day together again this year. I am VERY happy to see that things are going well with Britney and her children ... and now, according to Kevin Federline's attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan, the way is paved for even more interaction with her children now that things are going so smoothly between Brit and K-Fed as well:
There may be a thaw in the formerly contentious relationship between Britney Spears and Kevin Federline, suggests K-Fed's attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan. Spears, who last week was awarded more visitation time with her sons by Federline (Preston, 2, and Jayden, 1), was the topic of discussion for Kaplan, on Monday's Today show. Kaplan said that the judge's decision at last week's ruling reflected an "improvement" in Spears's condition. She spent full days, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., on both May 8th and Mother's Day with her sons. Asked about the current status of the relationship between the couple – including the rumor they would again star together on a TV show – Kaplan sidestepped any direct answers, instead saying that any potential reconciliation between Spears and Federline would be for the sake of their sons. "If you're going to have two parents participate in the lives of raising their children," said Kaplan, "there has to be some camaraderie between them for that to be a meaningful expectation and reality." But are things better between the ex-husband and wife? "When you go from where things were, when there was no visitation, to where they are now," said Kaplan, "there will be some contact … there'd be some ability to exchange a camaraderie that is necessary and a function of co-parenting together."
I totally agree ... and now that both Britney and Kevin are acting more like adults rather than reckless children themselves, I think there is a way for both parents to interact with one another in a manner that will be beneficial to their children. It sounds like Britney enjoyed a great Mother's Day this year ... hopefully the best is yet to come. Woot! [Source]

The Young & The Restless Style
The site launches in 3 days, I understand the magazine will be released on the show in 3 days as well. It's unclear what the "real" online magazine will be like once it launches ... will it be updated on a weekly basis? A monthly basis? Will it feature real articles meant to entertain or actually inform the fans of the show? All I know is that I want to see a lot of Phyllis Newman (played by Michelle Stafford) on the site, real or not, that's the best way to make sure that I pay attention. [Source]

It's Okay To Look, Speidi
We, the TV viewing audience, have been led to believe that Speidi met and fell in lurve on The Hills but could it be that our fave villainous couple actually met on Match?! If not, are their likenesses being used without their approval? OOOOOOOOOR, are Speidi in cahoots with Match just to make a few extra bucks on the side? Enquiring minds want to know ... what gives, ya'll? [Source, thanks Keri, Sonya and Kris]

Girl Fight
Catfights are a-brewin' on the set of "Gossip Girl." But this time, it ain't the ladies who are clawing each other's eyes out. The show's men, Chace Crawford, Penn Badgley and Ed Westwick, are battling over screen time and general media attention. The problem? Audiences have gone gaga for Chace. The girls and the gays alike have brought the buzz his way, thanks to smoldering good looks and boyish charm. "Penn was supposed to be the show's break-out star and now it is obviously Chace, and Penn doesn't like it," said one insider. In last week's episode, Chace got no screen time at all while Penn was featured prominently. But jealousy still reared its head Monday night at the Met's Costume Institute ball. Both Penn and Chace walked the red carpet, but it was Chace who was mobbed - and (OMG) invited to George Clooney's after-party at Bungalow 8. To make matters worse, the king and queen of Hollywood, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, gushed all over him. "Tom and Katie went up to Chace to say how much they love him and the show. They didn't talk to any of the other cast members," our spy snitched. "Penn didn't get any love."
Shoot ... I know I'm jealous of Chace Crawford's dreaminess and I'm not even on the damn show. To be honest, I totally believe that the other guys are envious of his breakout star status on the show. Yes, Penn Badgley is a "main character" but Chace breezes in and out of scenes, lookin' practically perfect in every way ... he manages to steal the viewer's attention -- and he's not even trying to. I don't believe that Chace is an attention-hog ... he's just too purdy to not snatch up all the attention. Tho ... Penn should really look on the bright side -- you do not want to be on Tom's "gush list" ... ever! Hee hee ... isn't it great to know that guys can be just as bitchy jealous as the supposed "divas" can be? LOL! [Source]

Jack Bauer Busted!
There is no word on what exactly Mr. Bauer was busted for but I am willing to wager that he wasn't busted on charges of DUI like Mr. Sutherland did late last year. My guess is that Jack is being arrested for taking care of the biz of protecting our country his way (ie. outside the bounds of "law") but I'm sure Chloe will have him sprung and back on the streets in no time. Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of Doom?
Now comes the part where Indiana Jones dangles over the snake pit of public opinion. Actually, a handful of Web reviewers have already struck at the film "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull," despite an intense effort by the director Steven Spielberg, the executive producer George Lucas and Paramount Pictures to keep this highly anticipated sequel out of sight until Sunday, May 18. On that day, this fourth Indiana Jones movie is scheduled to make its debut at the Cannes Film Festival with an afternoon press screening, and another one at night. At about the same time, the picture, which opens in theaters on the following Thursday, is expected to be screened for the news media and industry insiders at multiple showings in Manhattan and Los Angeles, while other screenings are scheduled around the world. Mr. Spielberg is unusually fastidious when it comes to protecting his films from advance word that can diminish excitement or muddy a message planted by months of carefully orchestrated publicity and expensive promotions (including, in this case, a February cover article in Vanity Fair, complete with Annie Leibovitz photos of the cast, and leather bullwhips delivered weeks ago to newsrooms). Mr. Spielberg customarily avoids leaky test screenings. Even Marvin Levy, his publicist of more than 30 years, said he had not yet seen the new movie. Still, there it was, at 6:42 a.m. on Thursday: a harshly critical review on aintitcoolnews.com, from a poster who identified himself as "ShogunMaster." Rife with details from the film, the review said, "This is the Indiana Movie that you were dreading." By that afternoon two other less critical, but less than sparkling, reviews also appeared on the Web site. The man who posted as ShogunMaster, reached via the Web site, said he is a theater executive who saw the film at an exhibitors’ screening this week. He spoke on condition of anonymity to avoid reprisal from the studio. Paramount had shown the film to a handful of theater company executives at its Los Angeles lot and elsewhere ... According to Mr. Levy, who spoke by telephone on Thursday, Mr. Spielberg has kept a watchful eye on virtually every aspect of the film's marketing campaign. "He gets involved with everything," Mr. Levy said. "Every TV spot, every line in every ad, every advertising concept." (Among the marketing tie-ins were Indiana Jones fedoras, available at Blockbuster stores.) The current campaign has been engineered to create excitement around the opening date, May 22 — some billboards feature the date, in flame-colored letters, and little else — without telling too much about the film. Last year the movie's producers went so far as to file a lawsuit against a bit player who had publicly discussed the film's plot, which involves the exploits of an aging archaeological adventurer, still played by Harrison Ford, now 65. The campaign has been effective so far. Fandango, which sells film tickets online, said this week that it was "seeing brisk advance ticket sales" to "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull," identified as the summer's most anticipated film in a poll Fandango conducted of moviegoers. But a better gauge of success is likely to be the extent of online sales in the few days after the film screens at Cannes — and after many reviewers have weighed in. Tim Ryan, a senior editor at Rottentomatoes.com, which compiles film reviews, said he expected those of "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" to surface "maybe an hour or two" after the Sunday afternoon press screening in France. His company will have someone on hand to post them immediately, Mr. Ryan said. As rated by Rottentomatoes, the earlier "Indiana Jones" films enjoyed strong reviews. The worst-reviewed of the three — the second, "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom," released in 1984 — was still the third-most-popular movie of the year. Mr. Spielberg, Mr. Levy said, may not be the first to know if the aging Indy manages to wriggle past any negative early notices to score another hit. "When a movie opens, he usually disappears," Mr. Levy said. "He usually doesn't want to know all the details about how it's doing."
In the end, reviews are always very subjective. To learn that Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom is the most poorly reviewed film of the series is laughable -- because to me, it is my favorite of the series. That said, you have to listen to some reviews and there are certain reviewers that I trust (mainly, Entertainment Weekly). In the end, I prolly won't listen to reviews from people I don't know or trust (therefore, I've stayed away from reading the review of the movie by ShogunMaster at aintitcoolnews.com -- but you can read it HERE, if you like) and will see the movie for myself as soon as it can. Even with my movie reviews (which I really consider personal opinions) I urge folks to judge for themselves no matter what my take on a movie is. In the end, I don't really believe that Indiana Jones will flop (tho, I thought the same about Speed Racer) but in the Internet Age, I guess you can never be all that sure this far ahead of a movie's release. Survivor: How Did She Do That?!
I realize it will be incredibly hard for fans of Survivor who have yet to see the finale episode and still want to remain unspoiled about this season's winner to be unspoiled today ... so if you are one of those folks, you'll have to skip this next section and try to not look at the photos with the BIG PINK WRITING on them ;)
This season of Survivor brought the decision down to the final two contestants ... both female and both very good at outwitting, outplaying and outlasting the other contestants ... but in the end, there can only be one winner ... and that winner is:
Now, I have NO IDEA how Parvati Shallow ended up winning the $1 million bucks. When questioned by the jury at the end of the game, Parvati took a lot of heat from many of the jury members ... Amanda only got hated on by one player (Erik, the dumbest Survivor ever ... so it really didn't count) and almost got proposed to by another contestant (Ozzy, who spent most of his jury time spitting ire at Parvati and the rest of his jury time professing his love for Amanda) but in the end only won 3 jury votes. There was no explanation as to why Parvati won 5 votes, she just won them ... and the $1 million bucks. I was really pulling for Cirie at the start of last night's finale ep but I would've been happy if Amanda won -- to me she really deserved the win. BUT, Parvati was the one who convinced the jury and I suppose she deserves some props for that. OY! This was a good season ... thanks ladies :) [Source]
